A sermon called
“The answer to a Question”
“Why do believers fall away from Christianity?”
One Sunday not long ago there was asked a question: of why do people fall away from the Lord and lose their faithfulness to come and worship as they did at the first?
The answer is not difficult: For even Jesus gives us the answer in the Parables of the farmer with the seed. (Mt.13:1-13; see also Mk.4:1-20). Let us turn to Matthew chapter13!
1The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side. 2And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore. 3And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; 4And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: 5Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: 6And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. 7And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: 8But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. 9Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. 10And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 12For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. 13Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
14And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
15For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. 16But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. 17For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them. 18Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. 19When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. 20But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; 21Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. 22He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. 23But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. 24Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: 25But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. 26But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. 27So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? 28He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 29But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. 31Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: 32Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof. 33Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. 34All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them: 35That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world. 36Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. 37He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; 38The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; 39The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. 40As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. 41The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; 42And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. 44Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. 45Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: 46Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. 47Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: 48Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. 49So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, 50And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 51Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord. 52Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old. 53And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these parables, he departed thence. 54And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works? 55Is not this the carpenter’s son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? 56And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things? 57And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house. 58And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
So many so called believers or those who profess conversion; fall away from the Lord by circumstances in their lifetime, just as the seed sown in uncultivated soil that has been not well tended! For they start off good and spring up quickly but have no roots because they have not continued past all the emotional highs of being forgiven and now diligently sought the Lord, to His fulness, to be truly justified, by His name at Baptism and by His indwelling Holy Spirit in them, 1 Cor.6:11And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. Being justified in the Lord is what all of us are supposed to be looking for! To be seen without fault by the eyes of the Lord who sees all! This is only done by staying in the truth and the only truth in this world is God’s own irrefutable, inerrant and Holy Word given to us by His own self and by the Apostles, for all scripture was given by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, 2Pt.1:20Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. So you see here it is impossible to translate scripture without His Spirit being in you! For this reason all of us who have been endowed with His presence and His Holy Spirit infilling as required by scripture itself, which is God’s Truthful Word as seen in;
1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. If we don’t make it past this far in the scriptures we will never be able to complete the rest of these verses!
15For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 18For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. 24For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. 26Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 28And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. 34Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the daylong; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. To be used at the end of this sermon or lesson, whatever you chose to call it!
But let us return to what Jesus said earlier in verse 14 of Matthew chapter 13: 14And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: but taken in context it shows us that there will in the end be few that will make it to the divine end that will be a glorious one: I refer you now to Is.6:8Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. 9And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. 10Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed. 11Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate, 12And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land. 13But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof. So you see we will have to face great tribulations if we are truly grafted into the vine of Israel as Jesus says we are in John 15:
1I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit (This means we will face trials to prove our faith and the trials also help to build more faith in which we can then become as all those who Jesus is looking for; the called and the few Mt.7:12-14; Mt.20:16; Mt.22:14!; the overcomers; Jn16:33 and Rev2:25But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. 26And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. 28And I will give him the morning star. 29He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.) . 3Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. Throws out that once saved always saved theology doesn’t it! 7If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. (This is when true Grace is applied as in Jn.1:16And of his fulness have all we (all truly born-again of His Name and His Holy Spirit infilling! Jn.3:3-8) received, and grace for grace (favour upon favour!). 17For the law was given by Moses, but grace (God’s favour which is the revelation of who God is!) and truth came by Jesus Christ. Which is Jesus revealing himself to be the Father in the flesh (Jn.14:6-9; Jn.8:24; 36; 58 The great I Am! of the Old Testament and now of the New Testament as well! Look at Jn.16:27-28 key in on the word again! Jn.6:62What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?) the word of God now flesh, Jn.1:14 the truth of God being the Holy Spirit, Jn.4:24 that was made and had become the only begotten God Jn.1:18 (In the original Greek copy), that was verified by the Apostle Paul; 1 Tm.3:16And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
8Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
9As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
11These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
12This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. All these things are conditional when we stay in love with Him; who all love begins in and to who He gives it; His favour, His grace, when we abide in Him and His word in all things we say and do, for it must be done in Jesus name; Col.3:17!
15Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. God’s true favour is His revelation of what God wants all His true children to say and do! We who are called are ordained by Him to bring this gospel to all nations! Hag.1:5 & 7; 5Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways. & 7Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
Jn.15:16Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
17These things I command you, that ye love one another. This is that commandment that most fail on; for they cannot forgive all that has happened to them, and have not forgiven others as Christ forgives you! For this reason Christ put a child on His lap and said unless we become as a child we will not enter into His kingdom, for there is none greater in His kingdom than a child for that exact reason, they have a child’s heart of a loving nature from its inherited source at birth, from Him who gave them their new souls as He blew the breath of life into them!
18If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. Does the world hate you or are you doing just fine in it? I refer you once again to scripture, for I will not leave it; or forsake it; James.4:4Ye adulterers and adulteresses (Those who have left their first love! Just as the church in this last age; the Laodiceans; for they have become lukewarm and in need of nothing in their own self righteous eyes!), know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. 5Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain: The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? (The Spirit lusteth to envy because we put our flesh in the way and heed to its desires rather than the Holy Spirit’s will for us; This is that unforgiveable sin that will not be forgiven in this age or the next (Mt.12:31-32 and Mk.3:28-30 ends the same way Matthew does with not a way to be forgiven if one has done this great blasphemy of the Holy Spirit; it will end in the death of all none believers in the Lake of Fire where the worm dieth not and the fire is never quenched because you are the fuel for it, Eze.21:31And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, and skilful to destroy. 32Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it. & Eze.22:30And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. 31Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD.) unless you change your self righteous attitudes and become once again a true servant to our Lord Jesus Christ as seen in Lk.17:7But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat? 8And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink? 9Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not! 10So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say: We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do. (Ecc.12:12-14). This is a true servant’s attitude we are just doing our duty which was allowed to us, by Him allowing us into the master’s house; He could have just as well, left you to your own devices that would had led to the lake of eternal fire! But God gives true Grace to those who He has chosen to serve Him! Ecc.12:7: God knows us long before we have entered into our mother’s wombs! Mal.1:3 & Ro.9:12-13; from Gen.25:23, God alone knows the beginning from the end, and He alone knows who will truly serve Him without any conditions or limitations, as to what that servant’s position should be! For they alone have sold out all that is within them and have given freely to Him alone!
6But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble: 7Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 9Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
Jn.15:19If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Are you truly being hated in this world? You would be if you have sold out your heart and soul to Christ Jesus; for the world cannot receive this salvation unless they have been born–again! For this indwelling Spirit is not for the whole world for the world cannot receive it; if they did then they would have to be converted and walk in a new light; the Light of Jesus Christ as their redeemer; Jn.14:15If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; 17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. This is Jesus living inside you! Which is the righteousness of God in Him, 2 Cor.5:16Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. 17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (Jesus). Then if Christ be in us we are a new creature waiting for the time when we will meet Him and be as He is and we too will be as He is! This is that eternal prize we all must strive for, when we truly do mortify this flesh, with all its carnal desires! Means to put it under subjection and to control it and to dominate it and its desires for they are always contrary to the Spirit, as Jesus told His Apostles who could not stay awake on that last night in the Garden of Gethsemane, which Jesus would live for the last time, with His Brethren as they had known Him! Mt.26:40-43.
20Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. Are you adhering to every word of this Holy Bible? If not why should you be called by His name or even try to call Him: I yet refer you yet again to scripture for I will be accursed like those who hear not His words and keep them: Gal.1:8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. Rev.22:18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Mt.5:17-20 & Mt.24:35, This is that which we all must do to enter into His Rest: When we find ourselves approved of by Him, when we have done all that we could possibly do to stand! God will not look you over for degrees and special commendations of man’s ways, but He will look you over for scares that you have received in the battle of life in His services! Quote by Rev. G. L. Boyett:
Lk.6:46And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Pr.15:8The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight. 9The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness. Gal.4:Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? For every man will stand before Jesus and give an account for himself and what you did with His grace, His favour, to you and how you used it for yourself or for others, Phil.2:10 Therefore I give this to you; to take heed and to take care of these little things by which if handled correctly, will then be given unto you in great abundances, to look after for our Lord and Saviour; when He comes to square your accounts! And if we learn His ways which are not of this world; that is when His persecution begins that He was talking about; for the world will not receive our message unless He draws them; Jn.6:43Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves. 44No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. 45It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me. 46Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father. 47Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
We can have all the pagan holidays in our churches we want (Just like the universal church of the Catholics; that’s what Catholic means; it is a Latin word for Universal, the combining the Pagan and the Christian theologies into one religious state!), just so we can them to get them to come into His house but if they have not come to hear the words of God it is to no avail for only those who seek after God come to know who He is in Jesus Christ; for it is said that they will be taught of God; it is His words that will bring in the increases not our programs such as this pagan holiday of the Easter bunny! It is God who gives the increase 1 Cor.3:5Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? 6I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 7So then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. 8Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. 9For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building. 10According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. 14If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 16Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. 18Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. 19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. So are we going to build on sound theological principles or are we going the way of the world and its carnality to sell more candy to yet once more satisfy the greed of man’s divinations or are we going to honor our Lord and God Almighty and just be happy to serve Him as a faithful servant and allow Him to reward us in His eternal way?
Jn.15:21But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me. The world will not receive our message because they have taken man’s word above our Lord’s, Jn.5:39Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 40And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. 41I receive not honour from men. 42But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you. 43I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive (Calvinism, Wesleyanism, Lutheranism , Arminianism or Popeism). 44How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only? 45Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. 46For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me; for he wrote of me. 47But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words? Jesus told all who He was; for if you have seen Jesus you have seen to one who sent Him; Jn.10:30; 12:45 and Jn.14:7-9 and yet we still have not come to where even we who profess to be oneness have not allowed ourselves to just walk in His simple-ness of His every word as a loving child is called to do! For Jesus said IF you love Me keep My commandments; Jn.15:15! Where there is no commandments there is no law and where there is no law there can be no sin but Jesus came to bring out a way to in which we can overcome sin! By His every word, Jn.14:6 for He alone is the light of the world, Jn.8:12Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life!
Jn.15:22If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin. But now that Jesus has come unto us and shown us a more excellent way as Paul has told us to seek after the best gifts of our Lord; but we are to seek after a more excellent way, 1 Cor.12:31 Which he did in the very next chapter: 1 Cor.13:1Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing: 3And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. 4Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 8Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. 9For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. 11When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 13And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. Now that we have put on Christ let us walk as He did with compassion for all men; for they know not the Lord and what is expected of them for they have not been regenerated into His likeness; as we have supposedly! For if we know we are to walk in His ways and come out from among them who is not in the way of salvation; how can we then go back and be in them and do the same As they do; is this not returning to the vomit and to the wallow after being washed in Christ blood? 2 Pt.2:18For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. 19While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. 20For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire. This is all those who adhere not to Jesus’ own words and say we are saved through grace and faith alone: while Paul and the rest of the disciples as well as Jesus the final word; tells us we will be judged by our fruits we bear! Let us look to scriptures yet again for it is given for us to our salvation; Rev.22: 10And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. 11He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Jn.15:23He that hateth me hateth my Father also.
24If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
25But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. See also: 1 Jn.2:23; Ps.35:19; 69:4; 109:3-5, for they will be turned over to him they serve, in verse 6 of Ps.109: And they who serve God whom they do serve will return unto Him, Ecc.12:7! Mal.3:16-18
26But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth (Which is Jesus in Jn.1:17), which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
27And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning. You see this brings us back to those words of yet another Old Testament Prophet in Isaiah in the 28Th chapter starting at verse: 9Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. (Those who have diligently sought Him in all truth and sincerity, righteousness, and His Holiness, Mt.6: 33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Mt.7:7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.) Jn.5:14Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee. Jn.8:11She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. 1 Jn.2:15Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever. 1 Jn.3:1Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. (To those of us who actually study this gospel and put God’s word first and foremost in our lives; who have studied and shown themselves approved, rightly dividing this word, 2 Tm.2:15; Who have diligently caused ourselves to walk as He walked, Jn.14:6, we are those few that will be as Jesus is when He returns; for we are so heavenly minded that we are no longer need this world and thus we will know Him as He truly is: For all we do now is for Him alone as he did for us back then; to seek that which is lost!
4Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 5And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 7Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (So if we have truly been born-again as we say we have! We have overcome our carnal desires; and thus Satan will no longer seek after that which he knows is truly, sanctified and consecrated unto the Lord for His service! Because those that are evil and work for Satan will in fact know our names, as well as they knew all the Apostles Names as well: This is being a true servant of God!)
9Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. 11For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
For I know of no other way to teach but by using the Lord’s own words of life! For all those who have truly been baptized into Jesus and buried in His name have put Him on with His indwelling Holy Spirit; the Holy Spirit of Love; for God is Love and without His love in you; and you are none of His yet still; Ro.8:9 without His Holy Spirit of Love! 1 Jn.4: 1Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 4Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 5They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. 7Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 12No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. 13Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. 14And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. 15Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. 16And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 17Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. 18There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 19We love him, because he first loved us. When we get this far into the Lord’s love for us and our brethren and to those who are lost in this world that is dying as I even now speak unto you! We in turn find His compassion that He had for us, so that we in turn will have for those who have lost their way or have not yet found it! Jm.5:19Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 20Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. Not only your sins but His too! For precept must be upon precept, line upon line and we are to adhere to all of them not just the ones we want too, 2 Tm.3:16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. This is what God our Lord Jesus was teaching us in His life on this earth we call our temporary home; for we are to be passing through as travelers looking for Home to come which is from Him our Heavenly Father to come! This is why we keep to precept upon precept as in this next verse of Isaiah: 10For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
11For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
12To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. For with a stammering lip the one and only true sign of the baptism of His heavenly Spirit is when He takes over your tongue and you prophecy in a heavenly language from Him that only His people know and understand! For it is by this Spirit that He teaches His scriptures and the truth of the matter and the heart of the thing!
13But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken. For these are those people who never fully were justified in His name and in His Spiritual Baptism and well as being baptized in His name, for we are to be buried with Him in His likeness: For the Father the Holy Spirit never died for us but it was the man Christ Jesus that all the sin was laid upon, and was whipped for our iniquities; that by His stripes we are healed or our sins! Those stripes that were meant for us He took and laid them upon His back: so how much more are we to suffer for our Lord and saviour: Heb.12:3For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. 4Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. 5And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons: 9Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? 10For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. 11Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Therefore if we are suffering for the Lord He is drawing us toward Himself and not away from Him while there is time to be trained by Him; for if we have not been given a conscientiousness that brings us before Him how are we to be judged in this age to correct those things before He comes to judge all mankind? For we must purge out this fleshiness of ours and seek a Spiritual connection with Him in word and deed! For without His Holiness and His Righteousness in us we are none of Him yet still, for He said to be ye holy for I Am holy! 1 Pt.4:14As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation (conversation used here is supposed to be translated from the Greek anastrophe meaning conducts); *16Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. (For if we judge ourselves against His living words of life; then we will purge out all filthiness of our carnal man and we will then be able to stand before Him in all righteousness: for righteousness starts with us in the house of God; and we will be judged first; 1 Pt.4:17-19!) 17And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:*
18Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation (anestrophes manner of life), received by tradition from your fathers; (For if we judge ourselves now against His living words; then we will purge out all filthiness of our carnal man; and we will then be able to stand before Him in all righteousness: For righteousness starts with us in the house of god and we will be judged first, 1 Pt.4:17-19!)
19But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. 22Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 23Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever. 24For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: 25But the word of the Lord endureth forever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. We are to seek after His salvation that comes by His words not ours! 2 Tm.2:19Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 20But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 21If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work. 22Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 23But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. 24And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. *This is our new jobs to seek and save that which is lost; bring them into the light which is in Christ Jesus; this is in fact how we save ourselves at the same time!*
Those who do not hear these words of mine and my Lord’s are these people still left to talk about in Isaiah:
14Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
15Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
16Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste (We will never lose sight of what we are to be in His will for us! We will be found at His return in His fields of labor as a good servant (Jn.4:35) who stands at the door to immediately let in His master when He comes home! Lk.12:34-40)! You shall not make hast you will abide in His loving words forever and thus this is how we know who are His; for we will never depart from His loving living words of truth and righteousness and Holiness by which all men must in likewise fashion to themselves in word and deed so that we can be the righteousness of God in Him Jesus Christ! With man this is impossible; but with Him in us all things then become possible; for greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world 1 Jn.4:4: for this reason I say I want to be no earthy good but in fact be as Heavenly good as Christ can be in a man such as I am! Therefore consider your was thus sayeth the Lord, Hag.1:5 & 7Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
This is that answer to the question at the beginning; they who sought after God either seek Him as He really is or they in turn make up a God that they can follow and worship Him there way; who does not look for any sin and sees only good and judges no one; so why then would they need to go worshipping Him who has taken all sin away from all men! For they do not believe that there is a God that will come and judge a unfaithful servant and cut him asunder as scripture says; where the Lord said when He comes and finds His servant not doing as he was told then He would then cut him asunder in two and cast that unthankful servant into otter darkness where there will be gnashing of teeth! Mt.24-50-51 & Mt.25:30!
These are those who have lost their first love and are now considered adulteresses and adulterers who have fell out of love with our Lord and Saviour and keep not His saying, precept, statutes, saying, judgments, commandments, and line upon lines, which are our very scriptures that He gave us to use, not just think about but to put into practice! This is how we find the true Grace upon Grace that all His Apostles found and had their prayers answered for they obeyed His every word!
Jn.14 but instead read these verses backwards: 15If ye love me, keep my commandments. 14If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. 13And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 12Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. Jesus went back to His natural position as the Father and now it is time for His sons to step up and glorify the Father; that is you and I my brothers and sisters! This is that which Isaiah was talking about, to those who cannot find His words in themselves are those in fact that stumble and fall backwards that Isaiah was talking about in verse 13But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken. All because they had not finished seeking all that there is in the Lord; which can never be done until we are perfect in Him (Truly Baptized in His Holy Spirit) and we are as He is! In this natural lifetime we will never be able to stop seeking higher grounds in our Lord’s ways and His will for us. The day that we think we have all that is needed; is that very same day we start our perpetual backsliding to the bottomless pit of hells ever increasing bottom! For this earth is going to be consumed for eternity and beings that there are some who like it so much, they will be awarded it forever more, 2 Pt.3:1This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: 2That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: 3Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. 8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. 15And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. 17Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
18But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen.
Therefore this is what I’ll be doing just as Joshua said in verse 24:15And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. For I will not go to the right hand or the left of God’s forever words of life! Josh.1:7Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest. Deu.4: 1Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you.
2Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
We are to be a royal priestly nation Ex.19:6And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel. 1 Pt.2:9But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; 10Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. 11Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; 12Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. 2 Cor.4: 6For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the Excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 8We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. This is our Lord’s way for His people I will not turn away from my calling! I will not go to the right hand or to the left I will always stay to His forever chosen path for me as long as I stay in His will for me and keep only unto Him! For it is not my pleasure I seek but His in me! For this reasons people leave the Lord unfulfilled and it had been better for them to never to have known the Lord; 2 Pt.2: 21For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
And we all know the Lord changes not. Mal.3:6For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Mt.24:35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. Heb.13:8Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever. Hag.1:5Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways. 7Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
As for me and my family we will serve only the Lord and Him only will I serve; to God be all the glory!
