The Watchman has fallen asleep on the Wall and the Shepherd has devoured the Sheep of the Flock
Rev. G. L. Boyett
Written in the Last Days!
Eze.33:1 Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:
3 If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;
4 Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.
5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.
6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.
7 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.
8 When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
9 Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
10 Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?
11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
12 Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.
13 When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.
14 Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
15 If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.
16 None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.
17 Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal.
18 When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby.
19 But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby.
20 Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways.
21 And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth month, in the fifth day of the month, that one that had escaped out of Jerusalem came unto me, saying, The city is smitten.
22 Now the hand of the Lord was upon me in the evening, afore he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb.
23 Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
24 Son of man, they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited the land: but we are many; the land is given us for inheritance.
25 Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land?
26 Ye stand upon your sword, ye work abomination, and ye defile every one his neighbour’s wife: and shall ye possess the land?
27 Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; As I live, surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that be in the forts and in the caves shall die of the pestilence.
28 For I will lay the land most desolate, and the pomp of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, that none shall pass through.
29 Then shall they know that I am the Lord, when I have laid the land most desolate because of all their abominations which they have committed.
30 Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the Lord.
31 And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.
32 And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.
33 And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.
Is this not today as well? For the watchmen have warned and it was only a sweet song to them that cannot fathom the wrath of God that is coming upon all mankind due to the lack of Godly Fear, for the Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, so we see not fear today so there cannot be any wisdom among the wickedness of the world due to lack of Fear of God and His wrath to come!
The Shepherd has devoured the sheep of the Lord’s pasture and the flock has been scattered due to the wolves in sheep’s clothing among the children of Light!
Zach.13:1 In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.
2 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.
3 And it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the Lord: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.
4 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive:
5 But he shall say, I am no prophet, I am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.
6 And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.
7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.
8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.
9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.
Is this not today as well? For we too are being tried in the fires of tribulations of the wickedness of the world around us, for all those who are the righteous as Lot, and as it was in the days of Noah it is today and few will remain who has not been destroyed by the ravenous wolves, who appear as ministers of light, that are the servants of Satan himself bring that gospel that is no gospel at all and is a cursed thing Gal.1:8-9, that the Apostles talked about! For we today have Shepherds who are nothing but hireling, who will run when the wolf comes in among the sheep, with false doctrines and wives tails of oral traditions, that have never been true ever! God only needs one third of the population to replace the fallen ones who left their first estate! Two thirds will be cut off and one third will pass through the fire, the Saints of God, who have been baptized in the only name by which all Salvation comes, seen in Ac.4:12, that was ordained by Jesus Himself in Lk.24:47, that has been fulfilled in Ac.2:38-40, when about three thousand were saved and joined the Church of God in Jesus Christ on that Day of Pentecost, when the very Spirit that is God, Jn.4:24 Lk.1:35 & 37 was poured out upon all flesh who will be saved, that will simply ask for it Lk.11:13, with a pure repented heart Mt.5:8, will then be found converted and regenerated with a perfect heart and nature of God’s Love being placed once again in man that was lost by Adam and Eve, now regenerated in the true Saints of God with gifts of the Spirit in them for confirmation seen in the Saints that all the Epistles were written to!
Zach.11: 1 Open thy doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour thy cedars.
2 Howl, fir tree; for the cedar is fallen; because the mighty are spoiled: howl, O ye oaks of Bashan; for the forest of the vintage is come down.
3 There is a voice of the howling of the shepherds; for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the roaring of young lions; for the pride of Jordan is spoiled.
4 Thus saith the Lord my God; Feed the flock of the slaughter;
5 Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed be the Lord; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.
6 For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the Lord: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbour’s hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them.
7 And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.
8 Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul lothed them, and their soul also abhorred me.
9 Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.
10 And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.
11 And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the Lord.
12 And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.
13 And the Lord said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord.
14 Then I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
15 And the Lord said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.
16 For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.
17 Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.
Woe unto you Shepherds who teach that which is not the word of God, for the Lord said you shall suffer more than them all! For the Lord standeth at the Door and He is calling still! For He would that none should be lost and all come to proper Repentance that God has ordained as called out in the scriptures, that produce Good Works Worthy of Repentance as called out in scriptures, Ac.26:19-20, as well as 2 Tm.3: 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works!
Just as it is seen in Tit.3:1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.
For we are to speak sound doctrines: Tit.2:1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
2 That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.
3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
6 Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.
7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
9 Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;
10 Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee!
So neither will this prophet of the Lord, who is His blessed Saint, will uphold the word of all that God said for us to do Mt.4: 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Mt.4:4 is also seen in Lk.4:4 in the same location ever wonder why? Yes He did it on purpose, for us to take notice of it, for man is found justified by obedience to the word of God by our Faith to uphold God’s word in our own lives, because the very word of God cleanses us Jn.15:3 only when we abide in them with all our hearts, strengths, and Spirits so the Soul of man can be found in God’s Righteousness and without His Holiness that is seen in his words to us that is His very own will to us; can we then be found justified in His eyes, by our observance to Him and His word to us in Reverence of all that was spoken by Him and His Ordained Apostles Jn.15:20, that we are to walk in all that has been instructed to us to walk therein, by His Ordained and Anointed Apostles, who gave us the Epistles to those who are supposed to be Saints of God who are already approved of by His Spirit which sealed them, that leads the Saints of God into all His Truths that are in His Holy Bible given to us so we will know how to run our race properly and not fall short of the finish line! We only know how to run our race through God’s word to us for the whole world lies in its wickedness 1 Jn.5:19, so we too must and again I say MUST come out from among the untoward generation Ac.2:40, or perish with those who worship a vain god of their unholy imaginations warned of by St. John in the very last verse of his first Epistles to the Church of Jesus Christ, seen in 1 Jn.5:21! 1 Jn.5: 21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen!
We have many idols today, which separate the flock from their One Shepherd! They seek after the pleasures of their own flesh, which wars against the Spirit, Gal.5:17, which will lead them to separation if they mortify not their own flesh, Ro.8:13, by walking in the Spirit and not by the flesh, for the flesh cannot please God Ro.8:8! Covetousness, as well as Contentiousness, will cause many to be departed from the Grace of God which is His favour for doing that which is righteous, in obedience to His every word to us, for we cannot add to this word or take away from all that has been already given to us in the Holy Bible or we cut out our own name out of the Holy Book Of Life, by not walking in all His Truths that are seen in His words to us, see Deu.4:1-2, as well as Deu.5:31-33; Deu.17:20, 28:14; Josh.1:7, 23:6; Prov.4:27, seen even in Gal.1:8-9 as well as Rev.22:9-21, for our Great Almighty God changes not for the gifts of God are without Repentance, Ro.11:29, as seen in Jms.1:16-17 and without variableness, see Heb.13:8, Mal.3:6! He is the same yesterday today and tomorrow and is expecting the same thing he expected out of His chosen people who were called to be Holy as he is Holy, a Priestly nation, which is called of God to be a Light to all nation a Church on the Hill that cannot be hidden! We are to be a light to a dying world who has lost its way, and needs a correct and chosen path, a narrow path to the straight gate, that is Jesus Christ, the only way into the Kingdom of God by One Shepherd, which was and is and is to come, Rev.4:8, who is THE HOLY, HOLY, HOLY, GOD! So how much more are we to be, if we are made in His image?
Rev.2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
This is that which the Lord of the Hosts has given to me, His Harbinger, His Prophet (Rev.19:10), His Saint called to deliver His message so you should not have to bear His wrath to come, which is to fall upon the whole world, who will not hear His Word or His Messengers!
