What happened when Paul got knocked off his horse by the Lord, when the Schechinah Glory of God was revealed to Paul? He was blinded and had to have his men finish leading him to Damascus, because he could not see, and Paul went about for three days blind as the Lord revealed truths to him in his blindness, these topic are in Acts chapter 9.
Paul them had Ananias, who was instructed by the Lord of all, Jesus Christ; Ananias came to Paul to bring back his sight. When Ananias prayed for then called Saul, he received his sight and something like scales fell from his eyes. These scales were the actual coronary lenses being removed from Saul’s eyes as cataracts but God would have Saul further need of him to rely on the Holy Spirit so Saul could learn all truths that come from Him alone which is the Spirit of God Himself, as seen in Ro.8:9, if we have not the spirit of Jesus Christ we cannot have His mind, as seen in 1 Cor.2:1-16! As taught by then named Paul, who was to preach to the gentiles, for when we read in Galatians, that Paul had received his revelations from the Lord alone as I have too; for the Lord showed me He would teach me the “Truth of the Thing’ and “The Heart of the Matter” from His Holy Spirit to me not by man’s dogma and doctrines, and with this new insight and being brought into the heavens often to be before the Lord and instructed, by dreams and visions as called out in Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lordcome.32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lordhath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.
We see that in Galatians that Paul has shown us in the later chapters that the Galatians received him even in his weakened state and his small size or stature; and being not a very sophisticated speaker he revealed the power of God to them by signs of healing and of wisdom of the scriptures, and of speaking in tongues with the interpretations as the laying on of hands is shown to work in those who are called for the work of our Lord God; for who He calls He also equips for His service with confirmations given to all as seen in 1 Cor.1:1 Paul called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their’s and our’s:3 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.4 I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;5 That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;6 Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:7 So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
With this being said then let us return to Gal.4:11 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.12 Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all.13 Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first.14 And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.15 Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me (showing Pauls thorn here!).16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
As we see in the end of this chapter too shows us another sign of Paul’s thorn in his side, which was his eyes, that left him depended upon being led by the power of the Holy Spirit into all truths, as we see here in, Gal.6:11 Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand. Thus showing us again more evidences of the thing that was Paul’s thorn in his flesh, that he’d prayed for three times; for the devil always buffeted him for not having his prayers answered, to keep Paul humbled and dependant on the Lord for His Grace, which is His Favour! And another thing too, when talking about God’s Grace, we need to do a study on that little word that carries not only a doctrine of Grace but also a Spirit of Grace, for instance we see that God’s grace to us is His words to us that is His will for us, not only his nature and characteristics; as seen in Ac.20:24 and verse 32 as well! A study of grace all the way through the Holy Bible is mandatory, but we see the epitome of God’s Grace here in Acts chapter 20 as well in verse 28: which is a oneness verse if one will let himself study it out in light of the Holy Spirit who was made flesh as seen in 1 Tm.3:16, which also concurs with this verse here as seen: Ac.20: 28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which He hath purchased with His own blood (showing us God who is Spirit as seen in Jn.4:24 revealed to us here! That was manifested in the flesh of Jesus Christ, Jn.1:1-14!).29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
Who will teach the doctrines of the Nicolaitanes that Jesus hates; and this is that doctrine in a NUTSHELL. Niko is from the Greek for the word “conquer” and Laotians is from the Greek word for “laity” or in other words the sheep of the congregation, “the presbyters” this was also talked about by St. John also in his epistle too, that the bishops and so called Archbishops, Priests, and the Pope, would make you slaves to them. and rule over you, to be your teachers of the doctrines of the Nocolaitans! Namely these verses seen here in, 1 Jn.2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things (If you have had the baptism of the Holy Spirit with gifts following for confirmation, of this fact as seen in 1 Cor.1:1-ffs!).21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.
This as well shows us too that all scripture must be tied directly to each other as Jesus said for it cannot be broken, Jn.10:35! When we have Jesus’ truths in us, He will lead us into all scriptures as He directs us to go, as seen in Is.28:9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. Thos who say the baptism of the Holy Spirit is not neccessary for us and that the gifts of the Spirit are not for us today as well, they too cannot enter inot His rests or be set free either, who will always need a priest to forgive his sins because he has a form of godliness, but lack the power thereof to go and sin no more because there was never repentance envoled in their baptism rights that were done incorrectly, in the first palce!
Those who have a stammering lip are those who are being taught of God, who speak in tongues as the Holy Spirit gives the utterances! This is the rest that the Lord said He would give to us that would set us free, Jn.8:31-32 and verse 36 otherwise we see ourselves as those in verse thirteen of Isaiah 28:13 But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken!
This happens to all those who say the Holy Spirit with its gifts are not for us today, which is false doctrines because we see in 1 Cor.12: That we are to seek after the best gifts of the Holy Spirit:27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues (Yes! Paul was speaking about the gift of multiple tongues here, as in diverse tongues, which not all have!),31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way! Which Paul did in the very next chapter of Corinthians: We see here that the whole chapter is about being regenerated in the Love that cometh from Gods alone, by His spirit being placed upon our hearts too, for love covereth all sin as seen in Proverbs, for this is the fulfillment of all the law, that we too love our brothers as ouself we do well as james says is the “Royal Law,” Jms.2:8!
There are many such like teachings that need to be instructed on by those of us who have been instructed by the Lord of all who has taught us, but I have not time or room to go on with this instructions here!
