I Will Show You An Answer To A Few Mysteries!
By Rev. G. L. Boyett
When we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, which is the Spirit of Jesus Christ in us as seen in Jn.14:18, who bought us with His own blood, Ac.20: 28Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which He (Jesus the Holy Spirit incarnate, Jn.4:24, 1 Tm.3:16, and 6:15-16, the only Potentate, KING of kings and LORD of lords! The I Am, Jn.8:58 who we are to know or we too will die in our sins, Jn.8:24!), hath purchased with His own blood! He has put His Holy Spirit in us (Lk.11:13), so we too can be taught by God and led into all His truths so we too can have the mind of Christ Jesus, 1 Cor.2:1-16, so all His laws, ways, precepts, sayings, judgments, commandments, testimonies, ordinances, and lines upon lines of His will for us can lead us into His righteousness so that we might be the righteousness of God in Jesus, 2 Cor.5:13For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause. 14For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: 15And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. 16Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. 17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Because Jesus is the power and wisdom of God in the flesh, 1 Cor.1:24!
Therefore they who have been baptized in the Holy Spirit with gifts following as is confirmed in them to have, for the gifts of God are without repentance, Jms.1:16-17. We then can be taught by the unction of God in us and are in need of having no teachers, 1 Jn.2:20 and 27! If you have drawn into the rest that is spoken of in Isaiah, Is.28:9Whom shall he teach knowledge? And whom shall he make to understand doctrine? Them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: 11For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. 12To whom he said: This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
Otherwise the worldly wise will fall backwards; for the words of God to them will always be a mystery and for them hard to grasp and understand and even impossible for them to walk in harmony with. Can two walk together unless they agree? Amos 3:3. They then will be found as those of the seed who were devoured, dried up, and choked out, just as these that are seen in verse 13 here in Isaiah. Is.28:13But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken. But when we have the Father living in us and we are His temple, He will give to us His mind, His will, which is His words of eternal life, Jn.6:63It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Then and only then can we too be found as one of those that Jeremiah talked about in Jer.31:31Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
He will remember our sins no more because we too will be known as He is in this life time, and we will be like Him when He returns, 1 Jn.2:1My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 3And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. And the world will not know us for they never knew Him and they too cannot hear our words because they are His words and His Spirit that the world cannot receive because they know not who Jesus is, because they have not been born-again of His Love; 1 Jn.4:1Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 4Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 5They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. 7Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
Therefore Jesus said; Jn.15:6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. 8Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9Jesus saith unto him: Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? 10Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. 12Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. 15If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; 17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
The majority of the world will die the death of a sinner because they have never had a real personal relationship with God in their own personal lives and to this day do not know who Jesus is and He has never revealed Himself to them as He said He would to all those who are His, Mt.11:25At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. 26Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. 27All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. 28Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
All of that sin never really forgiven because they never had a real relationship with a real God in their personal lives, they went through rituals of man’s doing, but they never had the transformation that only God can give of a regenerated spirit that has been created new in the Holy Spirit, with gifts following for confirmation as it was given in the beginning for a sign so all would know that you had in FACT REALLY BEEN BORN AGAIN WITH SPEAKING IN TONGUES AS THE HOLY SPIRIT GIVES THE UTTERANCES Ac.2:1-4! This is who all the Epistles were written to, those who it had been confirmed in them as seen in 1 Cor.1:1Paul called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother, 2Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their’s and our’s: 3Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 4I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; 5That in everything ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; 6Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: 7So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: 8Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
When there is a real conversion that has taken place the Holy Spirit goes to work in that person and they are changed from the inside out and they even start dressing Holy, without worldly desires to please the flesh any longer with the lust of the flesh which are not of God, 1 Jn.2:12I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake. 13I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father. 14I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one. 15Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.
They have matured in the Holy Spirit because the scriptures are their lives to them and the Love of God is in the words of God, for it is His will for all humanity for us to live in His will so that none should perish, but grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ, 2 Pt.3:18, who is LORD OF ALL, Ac.10:36, the First and the Last, who will judge us all by our works; Rev.22:7Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. 8And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. 9Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. 10And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. 11He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14Blessed are they that do his commandments so that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. 16I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. 17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. 18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
The ways of the Lord God from the Old Testament to the New remain the same for He changes not, Mal.3:6 and His words are forevermore; written in eternity for a judgment, Mt.24:35! We either live by them our perish in our own ways which are not His ways for humanity to go as it is written in Is.55:6Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. When we walk in the righteousness that is of God in our lives which is His given words that cleanses us from all wrong, Jn.15:3! We become Holy and Righteous, without which no man will enter into His presence and stay there in His Kingdom without being as He is and all that are His is called to be, Lev.11:44-45, 1 Pt.1:13Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
Which one are you going to be? One who has asked the Lord to forgive them and then go and do all that they ever did before they asked to be forgiven: Or are you going to be one who has actually Repented and have gone a new direction, away from carnality and the lusts of the flesh and walk in a new heavenly light, with a new countenance of being led by the Holy Spirit into all His Truths, Jn.4:23-24 as we are called to worship in, that is honorable to Him, who sees all! Our Salvation is tied directly to obedience just as it was for Adam and Eve, and Jesus is looking for these kinds of people who have not wondered off His chosen path for them, Mal.3:16Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. 17And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. 18Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
They who have studied this word of God and know it better than the scribes or the Pharisees because they actually live it with a pure heart openly everyday of their lives, Mt.5:17-20! They will be the ones who have rightly divided the words of God, because they had Him as their teacher, and then they will be seen as one of these that have obeyed the Lord in world and in deed, Col.3:17, that is seen in the final verses of Is.55:12For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. 13Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.
All because you had the Lord of lords leading you to all the right scriptures in the right order, Is.28:9Whom shall he teach knowledge? And whom shall he make to understand doctrine? Them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: Because you had one of these for a teacher, Is.28: 11For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. 12To whom he said: This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing:
Yet they of the world said it was not for them today, and they would not hear it! So they are the ones who are seen as the many who are called but are found to be weak and are seen in that final verse of despair as seen here; 13But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken. All because they never had the correct interpreter and they never had the Holy Unction, so they kept looking for eternity for the correct man of God to lead them in the right way, but He too was a blind guide leading the blind to the same pit of eternal destruction, where the worm dieth not and the fire is never quenched and you have had God repay you with your own ways, Eze.22:30And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. 31Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD. All because the man they sought after was a carnal man when all along they should have sought for the Holy man of Christ Jesus and His Spirit to guild then into eternity and His Kingdom! Unless we have His Holy Spirit we are still none of His, Ro.8:9, which is the Spirit of God in us to show us the right way in which we are all to go, 2 Cor.6:14Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? 15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
So who are we going to listen too, man or the words of God and be found the righteousness of God, doing it, so all things can then be added unto us, Mt.6:33, before you can be shown the mysteries of a heavenly nature you must be found trust worthy so that we can be found as gifted as one of these in Mt.7:7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Because you know the will of God for all humanity and you know the correct things to ask for that will glorify your Lord and He is more than happy to be proven, to show you all that is asked for! When you know how to ask correctly and not in a carnal way to fulfill the lusts of this world, which we are to overcome, Rev.2:25But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. 26And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. 28And I will give him the morning star. 29He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. And He will sit down with us and serve us at His table; Rev.3:19As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
So if the Holy Spirit is not chastising you for being too worldly while walking around as the world that lies in wickedness does, 1 Jn.5:19, just maybe He has already given you over to a reprobate heart or you were really never His to begin with were you? Jms.4:1From whence come wars and fightings among you? Come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? 2Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. 4Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. 5Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain: The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? 6But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 7Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 9Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. 11Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. 12There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
It takes all scripture living and working in our lives to be found Holy and Righteous, 2 Tm.3:14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. When we are saved by faith that works we find the Grace of God, which is His Favour for a righteous life that is just and true, that has been sanctified and consecrated for His service, 2 Tm.2:19Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 20But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 21If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work. 22Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. And only they that have a pure heart will see God, Mt.5:8 because they are found to be perfect as God is perfect, Mt.5:48, born-again of His Spirit being led by Him in truth so we can serve Him and bring the weaker brothers along with us, Jms.5:19Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 20Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
Is this not what Jesus told us to do? Mk.8:34And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them: Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 35For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. 36For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? 37Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 38Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
We cannot do that unless we have been born-again His way, 1 Cor.6:11And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. Only when we have been baptized into Christ can we actually put on Christ, Gal.3:27For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise! Jesus told us, “If we love Him we would keep His commandments.” Jn.14:15 and if we love Him we would keep His ordained Apostles words to, Jn.15:20, therefore were we not all told to do this then? Especially after the men of Jerusalem asked what they must, Must Do, to be saved! Here is what Peter told them in the company of all the other Apostles, Peter said these words that are the eternal keys to heaven and Salvation, and the birth of the first Church of Jesus Christ was born on the day of Pentecost with these verses here: Ac.2:38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call. 40And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. 41Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. 42And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
The unity of the Church of Jesus Christ is found in complete compliance to the authority of the Apostles in following their doctrines that they handed down to us that is written in the Holy Bible and that is all! We cannot add to it or take away from any part of it, just because another comes along and preaches another gospel! Read the warnings, Gal.8:8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. Or you too will be accursed! Deu.4:1Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you. 2Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. Rev.22:18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
From Old Testament to the New Testament, God demands complete loyalty and obedience to His word, no deviations from it or you have gotten off the narrow path to the right hand or the left Deu.5:31-32 and Josh.1:7, Mt.7:12Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at: 14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. In Luke’s version he used the word strive, Agōnizesthe, the word in English is agonize, that is what it is going to take to walk in the light and countenance of our Lord God and that cannot and never will be possible for a mere mortal man to do; unless that man/woman has been born-again of the Holy Spirit and sealed with the earnest payment of salvation! But no man or woman is or can be saved until they have finished their course well as Paul has said, he finished his race by competing according to all the rules of the Lord that had been handed down to him to fulfill in his life time to do! If we abide not in Him and His words do not abide in us, we have no part of Him yet still!
Those who have and are still falling short of the glory of God in their lives are these, Mt.7:15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. All because they are not in the will of God, Mt.12:30He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad. 31Wherefore I say unto you: All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 32And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, and neither in the world to come.
Unless we are all in the will of God we are not in or under His Holy Grace, which has its own doctrines, and commandments as well as Spirit! We are never to grieve the Holy Spirit, how much more so if we walk in the blood of God’s Grace; that has purchased our Salvation by His Favour for us! But it is up to all of us to work out our own Salvation, with fear and trembling, for it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of an angry God, who is a flame of fire! We haven’t been saved until He calls us home and we hear well done My good and faithful servant! We can never leave the love of God that He has for all humanity, but we can leave Him with our own lusts, fantasies, and vain imaginations worshipping a god that is no god but what we have made up in our own vain imaginations, that St. John warned us about in the last verse of his first epistle to us, 1 Jn.5:18We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. 19And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. 20And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ: This is the true God, and eternal life. 21Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
Walk before God in all honesty, according to His words to us and with a pure heart or face His wrath to come, for very soon now he will close the door forevermore and there will be found continual gnashing of teeth!
