Scriptures on the glory of God showing Jesus!
Is.48:11For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? And I will not give my glory unto another.
12Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.
Rev.1:7Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
8I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
9I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
10I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
11Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last:
Jesus the God of the past, the present, and the future!
Heb.13:8Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.
The LORD God will not give His glory to another, Is.42:8I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. 9Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them! 10Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof. 11Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains. 12Let them give glory unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the islands (All the world). 13The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies!
Did not the LORD give us fare warning He was coming as a man, through His prophet? He always explains the things to come so we know it is of Him and what it is He doings! The glory Jesus had was given to Him because Jesus was with the LORD from the beginning, because the Father is the Father of all spirits, Heb.12:9Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? 10For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. We cannot bring sanctified, consecrated, and glorious praise to a Great God unless we have been purified by Him. For only He is Holy, and we who have lost our Salvation or Holiness cannot be Holy unless we, allow Him to transform us and regenerate us back into His likeness, through a process of His Repentance, for the things He must do to all sinners, due to sin entering into the world! For the LORD God called out an oath to Adam and said as soon as you do it you shall die; and that was eat of the fruit of good and evil. Through disobedience to the given word of God to us in Adam, all mankind developed a classic case of a chronic disease called death; a death sentence was handed to each one of us at birth! The only cure for this death sentence is Jesus, “The Christ,” who is God with us, our Immanuel, Mt.1:23!
The flesh of Jesus will always be in submission to the Holy Spirit who is the Father in Him (See Lk.1:35), for all spirits will return to the One Spirit who gave it, Ecc.12:7Then shall the dust (The flesh of man will) return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it (See Jn.4:24). Jesus the man always put the will of the Father before His own flesh, we see this in the garden on the Mount of Olives. Lk.22:42Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. Jesus had to accomplish a work that God the Holy Spirit could not do, for the Holy Spirit hath no blood to give for a sacrifice to remove the sin of the world (see Ac.20:28; and Ro.8:9), so He the Holy Spirit had to make Himself a body from the seed of man so He could accomplish His work (Read Ac.20:28 here!)! Jesus shows us this in Jn.4:34Jesus saith unto them: My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. 1 Tm.3:16And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Jesus dwells in the Shekinah Glory, 1 Tm.6:14That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: 15Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; 16Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
The only one who can take away the sins of the world is God: Mk.21And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house. 2And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them. 3And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. 4And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. 5When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee. 6But there was certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts, 7Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God only?
8And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit (Jn.10:30; 12:45) that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts? 9Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk? 10But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) 11I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.
Jesus not only showed the glory of God in Him by the abilities to know the mind of men, and to read their thoughts, and to see to the very hearts of men, which only God can give to another and do Himself. But God will not let His glory and Praise be given to another in His place, for God is a Jealous God, Ex.20:1And God spake all these words, saying, 2I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
Jesus said, If you love Me, you will keep my commandments, Jn.14:15, not God’s commandments but His, for only God is the Way and the Truth and the Live we must live in order to be one with the Father, and He will give us His Spirit, Jn.14:15If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; 17Even the Spirit of truth (See Jn.1:17); whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you: 18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you!
Grace and Truth came by Jesus Christ, Jn.1:17. Jesus has given Himself to us as the Holy Spirit (Which will be in you, Jn.14:17! The First and the Last!), and has made Himself known to us in His words to us, Mt.11:27All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and He (Jesus the Father) to whomsoever the Son will reveal Him (Me, Jn.10:30; 12:45; Zach.14:9!)! 28Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls (See Is.28:9-12, this is the rest that they will not hear, and then will be seen as one of those in verse 13)! 30For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. For the commandments of the Lord are not grievous to us: 1 Jn.5:1Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten (Incarnate meaning Middle English incarnat, from Late Latin incarnatus, past participle of incarnare to incarnate, from Latin in- + carn-, from the word caro, meaning flesh), (See also monogenes, 3439 monogenḗs (from 3411 /misthōtós, “one-and-only” and1085 /génos, “offspring, stock”) – properly, one-and-only; “one of a kind” – literally, “one (monos) of a class, genos” (the only of its kind, in other words God-man! Theanthropos).) of him (OUR God in the flesh, 1 Tm.3:16, just as scripture the word of God, which is Truth testifies!). 2By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 3For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 4For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. See Lk.18:1And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; 2Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: 3And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. 4And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself: Though I fear not God, nor regard man; 5Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. 6And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. 7And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? 8I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
9And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: 10Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee (A preacher), and the other a publican (A sinner). 11The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. 12I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. 13And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. 14I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
Victory in Jesus Only, through obedience to His given words of Truth!
Jn.15:14Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. 15Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. 16Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you (Jesus comes in His Father’s name, Jn.5:43, which means Saviour! See Is.49:26!). 17These things I command you, that ye love one another. 18If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 19If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. 20Remember the word that I said unto you: The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. 21But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me. 22If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin!
This is scriptural proof that justification comes by Jesus’ name in Baptism and His Holy Spirit being poured out into us by our asking in faith believing it is for us today as it was in the days of the Apostles. 1 Cor.6:11And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God, (Ro.8:9 one in the same Spirit, for they are one in the same, Jn.10:30; 12:45; see 1 Jn.5:20!).
Sin entered the world by the loss of Adam and Eve’s love for God by losing faith in His words, which is His will for them; in believing a lie from another! If we put anyone’s word before God’s, we have sinned, if it is done in ignorance, it is forgivable: As shown to us in Numbers chapter 15. Num.15:13All that are born of the country shall do these things after this manner, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD. 14And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever be among you in your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; as ye do, so he shall do. 15One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an ordinance forever in your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the LORD. 16One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you. 17And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 18Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land whither I bring you, 19Then it shall be, that, when ye eat of the bread of the land, ye shall offer up an heave offering unto the LORD. 20Ye shall offer up a cake of the first of your dough for an heave offering: as ye do the heave offering of the threshing floor, so shall ye heave it. 21Of the first of your dough ye shall give unto the LORD an heave offering in your generations. 22And if ye have erred, and not observed all these commandments, which the LORD hath spoken unto Moses, 23Even all that the LORD hath commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day that the LORD commanded Moses, and henceforward among your generations; 24Then it shall be, if ought be committed by ignorance without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour unto the LORD, with his meat offering, and his drink offering, according to the manner, and one kid of the goats for a sin offering. 25And the priest shall make an atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it is ignorance: and they shall bring their offering, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD, and their sin offering before the LORD, for their ignorance: 26And it shall be forgiven all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; seeing all the people were in ignorance. 27And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering. 28And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the LORD, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him. 29Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them. 30But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people. 31Because he hath despised the word of the LORD, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him!
32And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the Sabbath day. 33And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation. 34And they put him in ward (Separated him from the congregation.), because it was not declared what should be done to him. 35And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp. 36And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses. 37And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 38Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue: 39And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them ; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring: 40That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God. 41I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD your God. This is that vine we are grafted into in Jesus. Mt.5:17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18For verily I say unto you: Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20For I say unto you: That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven! (Jn.14:6) If Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life we all must live to be one with the Father, than we must do all the things Jesus did, for He was without sin! Jesus obeyed the laws of Moses, for He gave them to Moses! Jn.8:58!
Jesus fulfilled all the law and became our sacrifice for our sins and the sins of the whole world, and has become our righteousness and holiness we are to be grafted into of that same vine, as seen in John chapter 15. If we do not abide in Him and His words to us or His divine, ordained Apostles as called out in verse number 20, we will be found out to be a liar, as seen in Ro.3:1What advantage then hath the Jew? Or what profit is there of circumcision? 2Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God. 3For what if some did not believe? Shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? 4God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written: That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged (Mt.12:36-37). 5But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man) 6God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world? 7For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner? 8And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? Whose damnation is just. 9What then? Are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; 10As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 11There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. 12They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
The Victory belongeth to them who has overcome this untoward Generation!
Ac.2:38-40; 2 Cor.6:14-18;
Rev.2:7; 11; 17; 26-29;
Rev.3:5; 10-12; 19-22.
This is the victory in Jesus; that the world that lies in wickedness cannot have; His Salvation because the World, knows not who Jesus is and will die in their sins as called out in the word of God. This is brought to us by Jesus our Immanuel, Himself in Jn.8:24I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I AM he, ye shall die in your sins. Jesus is the I AM, of the past, present and the future and will be forevermore the True God, the I Am, Jn.8:58Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM! For this reason the priest went and started looking for rocks, and it wasn’t to build an alter to Jesus, but to stone Him for revealing who He was; the God who would become man, the Holy One of Israel!59Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
When we understand who Jesus is, that is when we start to worship God in Spirit and in Truth as called out in scripture, Jn.4:23-24. Only then can we ask God for His Spirit as called out in scripture, Lk.11:13If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
We must prepare the vessel to become Holy and pure, for only the pure of heart will see God, Mt.5:8Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. This is what the Apostle Paul was explaining to Timothy in 2 Tm.2:19Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity (What is the name of Christ? There is but one answer, Jesus! God with us, our Immanuel!). 20But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 21If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work. 22Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. These are things brought on by Repentance!
A pure heart cannot be found unless we are found walking in truth of God’s words being alive in us and thoroughly working in our lives, 2 Tm.3:14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. Paul spoke this to Timothy before the New Testament was even written and all put together, and was referring to the Old Testament that was at hand and present for them to teach from. Unless we walk in the statutes, sayings, judgments, precepts, line upon line, here a little and there a little, by the sovereign words of truth that come from God only can we be found as a pure, holy, righteous, and sanctified vessel that is consecrated for God’s use (hagios # 40 Strong’s Concordance. This is from which we get the word for Saint of God!) only can we then be found in His fields of labor, carrying out His will for us in fulfilling all scripture in our lives, as seen in the remaining verses here for example: 2 Tm.2:21If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work. 22Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 23But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. 24And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
You are sanctified by the words of God in you; Jn.17:16They (The true Saints of God!) are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. 18As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. 19And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. 20Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. 24Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world! The Lord knows the beginning from the end and before the first, “Let there be”: was uttered out of God’s mouth He knew He would become man and die on that cross for the sins of the world, he created! For only God can forgive sins! Ac.20:28Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 1 Cor.6:19What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
The last verse reads like this in Jn.17:25O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. 26And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
In this we will find the Kingdom of God in us (the Love of God!), just as everything is in the very Kingdom of God as we too will be one in Him and He in us, Lk.17:12And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: 13And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. 14And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
15And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. (If Jesus were not God this would have been a sin for Jesus to let this man fall down and worship Him at His feet! Jesus would have to have commanded this man to get up and worship God as seen in Revelations when St. John fell down to worship another who had the testimonies of Jesus!)
17And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
18There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
19And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. 20And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21Neither shall they say, Lo here! Or, lo there! For, behold, the kingdom of God is within you!
The glory of God should be able to be seen in each of us as it was seen in the face of Jesus, 2 Cor.4:3But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 5For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake. 6For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. And in us, as it was seen in Paul, Gal.1:23But they had heard only: That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed. 24And they glorified God in me!
Due to the blindness that was in the world because the Holy Spirit had not yet been poured out upon all flesh and made available yet mankind then could not see the glory of God in Jesus, had they have known who Jesus was they would not have crucified the LORD of ALL Glory, 1 Cor.2:5That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 6Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: 7But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him (The Key to Heaven right here! To love Him!). 10But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea the deep things of God. 11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the (Holy) Spirit which is of God (Jn.4:24 God is a Spirit! God is Holy thus the Holy Spirit is God! We are called out to be Holy for He is Holy! See Lev.11:44-45.); that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ! To have the mind of Jesus Christ is to have the mind of God, for the Father revealed all things to Jesus, as He revealed them unto us, Jn.6:62What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? 63It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. Jesus is the resurrection and the life; Jn.11:25-26.
No one can have the mind of Christ unless, Christ be in him (Gal.4:19) and has been given the repentance of God as seen in Ac.10:44While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. 45And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. 46For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, 47Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? 48And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord.
This was told to the council at Jerusalem and Peter had to come to the council and give an account of himself to all the others, for Peter was one of them and was not the head of any organization and had no power to give authority to another. Only God has that right to Ordain whosever He will! The Apostle’s told the congregation to pick out believers among them who were filled with the Holy Ghost to distribute the offerings of the church to everyone’s needs as they needed, in Acts chapter 6. The Apostle’s worked in the ways of the Lord and bound in their words the seeds of the Holy Ghost’s truth that was in them, just as the men of the Old Testament did as seen in 2 Pt.1:19We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the “Day Star” arise in your hearts: (Which is the Morning Star, Rev.2:28 and Rev.22:16!); (Who is Jesus seen in 1 Pt.1:9Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. 10Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: 11Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. 12Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into. 13Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I Am Holy.)
Now let us go back to 1 Pt.2:20Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
For an example of this we need look no further than this spoken by God to Zachariah; Zach.12:10And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon ME whom they have pierced! About 530 years before the fact! This was told also to us by St. John in Jn.19:37And again another scripture saith: “They shall look on him whom they pierced!” The blood of the Holy Spirit hath purchased our Salvation, Ac.20:28Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which HE hath purchased with HIS own blood!
The last Apostle living (St. John) sealed up this Holy Bible with His words that can bind and loosen on earth and in heaven, so St. John the last and the least of these, sealed up our gospel of the good word which brings salvation to all those who will hold fast to the words of God and search and seek out each one of us our won salvation with fear and trembling, Col.2:12! For fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom and understanding of the will of God in our lives! According to the Word of God!
Victory comes when we abide in the Holy Words of this Holy Bible and carry out what it says to do with a sincere, a pure, and an honest heart of an innocent child, for a child who knows no evil is the greatest in the Kingdom of God. Only after the repented heart that has been cleansed by the words of God upon an honest heart can one be found as cleansed by the blood; the Holy Blood of Jesus, as it is applied to that soul at baptism in Jesus’ name (See 1 Pt.3:21; Jn.3:3-8.)! When we abide in the word of God He will abide in us, for there is none other name by which salvation comes; Ac.4:12: why then would we allow anyone to baptize is in any different way than how the Apostles did it? Ac.2:37Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call. 40And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
Walk in the will of God or perish walking in the ways of man that seemeth right unto him that is the way of death, Pr.14:12 and Pr.16:25. We cannot be exalted unto God unless we submit to Him and humble ourselves to His will for us that is revealed to us by his words to us through the Spirit of the Holy Ghost in us! How can we receive the Holy Ghost unless we are found in His righteousness as seen in Mt.6:33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness (Is Truth in right and just judgment, that is achieved by walking in the word of God through repentance, 1 Pt.4:10-11!); and all these things shall be added unto you. The true Grace of God is the baptism of His Holy Spirit in you! This is the ultimate favour God gives to one who is His and those who are truly redeemed! This is done by the regeneration of the love of God that had been lost in Adam, being restored in those who have sought God with a pure, innocent, love for Him and Him alone! Not for what he can do for you but what you can do for Him in serving Him with all that is within us, just to please Him for what He has done for us. That while we were yet sinners, He died for us, that we would not have to be found with all those who are still tied to the flesh and the lusts of this world. 2 Jn.2:15Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him! 16For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.
The things of this world are about to fade away and all who are found lusting after the will of man and the world which lies in wickedness; shall perish in Hell! For this reason the earth was made for the purification of all evil and sin, 2 Pt.3:1-16 and we are called to grow in the Knowledge of Jesus Christ, verse 18. This cannot be done without His mind or Spirit in us to reveal the things of the Holy Spirit, which is the will of God, Mt.12:30He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad. 31Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 32And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, and neither in the world to come. Were not all scriptures inspired by the Holy Spirit? According to Peter they were, as well as Paul, 2 Tm.3:16-17. That we may be found perfect! (Mt.5:48) thoroughly furnished to do all kinds of good works!
We see here the things we need to get done while we have time, for the time cometh and is soon to fall onto all mankind that the light of the gospel will be lifted off from the face of this world (2 Thes.2:1-3), and is even at the door. All mankind who has not the revelation of God in Jesus reconciling the world unto Himself by Him, will perish with all those who know not Jesus; and they too will die in their sins, Jn.8:24. Jesus told us when He started His ministry that the Kingdom of God was at hand, Mt.4:17. He told us to Repent, to change ones direction, to go another way! Live not in sin but walk in the mystery of God’s divine calling! Only can this be done on the narrow path that leads to His straight Gate; Jesus is that Gate, seen in John chapter 10. All that hear Jesus’ words hear the voice of God, Jn.8:47 and those who hear not my words today are of they who will fall by the wayside! Mt.13:18Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. 19When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. 20But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; 21Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. 22He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. 23But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
We see here that there is one type of seed sown for the word of God is the seed. The seed is sown into four types of soil. Only one of the types of soil brings the fruit of the word (seed) sown in it. This is only 25% of the soil which is the souls of the world, which will receive Jesus as God Almighty and bear His fruit, Is.9:6! This coupled with the 144,000 at the last day that the Lord will save from His own people of Israel, will make up the 1/3 of the stars that fell from heaven when they left their first estate. The fallen angels, for Jesus said when we are converted we will no longer be of them of this world but as the angels that are in heaven, Mk.12:24And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God? 25For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven. You see many are called, the whole earth will have an opportunity to come to God, Mt.24:14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. Only they who respond to the call of Jesus correctly as it is written will have the right to the tree of life, Rev.22:1And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. The twelve fruits are the twelve Apostles’ words that we are to follow after because if we will obey Jesus we will obey them too and are we not known by our own fruits! Then we will be able to apply the healing leaves of the gospel, the good news that is the word of God for our everlasting heath! Even Jesus said we would know the false prophets, and idolaters by their fruits: Mt.7:15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity!
Only when we dig deep in the true soil of God’s truths can we be found on the solid rock of Jesus Christ; Mt.7:24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. 28And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: 29For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
Only when we find ourselves broken on the rock of Jesus Christ can we be found to be healed by His divine word because of His authority. If we seek asking anything in His name believing that He will accomplish in us just exactly what He said He would do, can we then be found healed by His power of salvation and forgiveness of our sins. If we cannot receive this is from Him, we then will be the one who will be ground under the rock, till we are nothing more than powder for the fuel of Hell’s fire, which is never quenched (Eze.22:30And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. 31Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD. Also Eze.21:31And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, and skilful to destroy. 32Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it.).
Mt.21:42Jesus saith unto them: Did ye never read in the scriptures: The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? 43Therefore say I unto you: The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. 44And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. 45And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them. 46But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet. This Jesus spoke to the members of the Sanhedrin, who were the Pharisees, and Sadducees, the Priests of the Temple in Jerusalem, they were represented by the fig tree Jesus cursed on the day after His entry into Jerusalem, riding a colt of an ass, in Mark chapter 11.
We are bond to the Spirit of the words of God, not to the law of sacrifice or of the eating of clean and unclean foods. We are bound to the very words of God’s Truths, which are our righteousness and our Holiness; which is seen when we abide in His words to us in our ethics and morality that are the cleansing that was done in the temple of God! Jesus has restored order in the world by Himself and through the authority of His words to us, which at no time will ever contradict, the will of God that is seen in the Old Testament! If anyone teaches other than this he is one that will go to the least place in the Kingdom of God (Mal.3:6). Mt.5:20For I say unto you: That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. Do you know where the least place in heaven is? It sits on the other side of the gulf, that no one can pass over. Lk.16:14And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him. 15And he said unto them: Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. 16The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it. 17And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail. 18Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery. 19There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: 20And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, 21And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us that would come from thence. 27Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: 28For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 29Abraham saith unto him: They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30And he said: Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31And he said unto him: If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
Why do we always need to see signs and wonders, these things will come to all those who are of God. If we ask knowing what the will of God is for us and all that we ask for will He not do it in Jesus’ name? Jn.14:14 says He will! God cannot lie, Num.23:19God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? 1 Sam.15:29And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent. Mal.3:6For I am the LORD, I change not; Tit.1:2In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; Heb.6:17Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: 18That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Heb.13:8Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.Jms.1:16Do not err, my beloved brethren. 17Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. The Godliness of God for us is everlasting to those who are called and have received His Holy Spirit as seen in Ac.2:39For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call. 40And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. 41Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
About three thousand souls were lost the day the law of the Lord was broken at the foot of Mount Sinai, to the tribes of Israel, for they played the harlot in Ex.32:28, this is about the same amount that received salvation the forgiveness of their sins on the day of Pentecost; in the Baptism of the Holy Ghost; when they all spoke in tongues as the Holy Spirit gave them the utterance! This was the birth of the first church of God in Jesus Christ! With it came a new set of Testaments for the New Covenant Church! This is the new age of Grace, that God has established because he has already judged that which is done away with. This was done when Jesus was raised from the grave, in three days He said He would raise the Temple of God. And in A. D. 70 the Roman’s razed to the ground the old temple of God, the judgment for the persecution of His church!
The true church of Christ Jesus and of the Apostles are they who speak in other tongues, that is who the Epistles are written for! For they had been confirmed to have had evidences of a spiritual encounter with the Holy Spirit, as seen in 1 Cor.1:1-9. All those who are baptized into Jesus are the new temples of God, 1 Cor.3:16Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. 1 Cor.6:19What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. Therefore we are to be a peculiar people, called of God set apart for His use, a Holy people for He is Holy: 2 Cor.6:14Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? 15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
Power in the church of God
If we have no power it is not God’s problem it is ours, for He is all powerful, Lk.1:37For with God nothing shall be impossible! Gen.18:14Is anything too hard for the LORD?
Jer.32:17Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: 18Thou shewest loving kindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts, is his name, 19Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings: 20Which hast set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this day, and in Israel, and among other men; and hast made thee a name, as at this day; 21And hast brought forth thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with great terror; 22And hast given them this land, which thou didst swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey; 23And they came in, and possessed it; but they obeyed not thy voice, neither walked in thy law; they have done nothing of all that thou commandedst them to do: therefore thou hast caused all this evil to come upon them: 24Behold the mounts, they are come unto the city to take it; and the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans, that fight against it, because of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence: and what thou hast spoken is come to pass; and, behold, thou seest it.
When the Lord speaks history is set and molded for the world to see in due time: Is.55:8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
In the last days the love of many will wax cold: Mt.24:9Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. 10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Were we not told to repent of our evil ways? Have we been baptized in the only name by which salvation comes? Have we received His Holy Spirit? Without which we cannot enter into His Kingdom! Are we born again of the water and of the Holy Spirit? That which is flesh is flesh and that which is Spirit is spirit! Unless you have been born again with signs following you cannot enter into His rest! Repent seek ye the Lord while He may be found! Do you speak in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance and prophecy by having a testimony of Jesus’ Spirit being one with yours? If you cannot answer all of these questions in the affirmative you are lost still and outside of the covenant agreement of God’s children. Therefore come out from among this untoward generation and be ye cleansed in the water of Remission of sin by the power of the name of Jesus Christ! And receive ye the Holy Spirit for it is unto you and your children’s children and all those who are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Here is your calling, come while we can find safety in Him alone or you will find Him too late and all you will see is His wrath to come, that will be poured out upon all the world and even the heavens will be rolled up as a scroll! Then it will be too late for anyone, even you!
