Are We Really Bearing His Fruits?
Are we bearing fruit by multiplication of increased numbers and family members? Or are we multiplying the members into the Kingdom of God? In other words are we raising Cain’s or Abel’s (or should it be “ABLE”, are we going to be able to complete our race correctly)?
Only Abel’s and the line of Seth will enter into the Lord’s Kingdom, whose family are we grafted into, is it Abraham’s?
If we do not bear Jesus’ name at Baptism we aren’t getting into His Kingdom are we?
Faith is only faith when it has works; otherwise it is only beliefs; and beliefs never got any one in to Heaven!
Jn.14:15If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Jn.8:51Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
Lk.6:46And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
Yes unfortunately people lose sight of that fact, that when we come to the Lord, we are no longer our own to do with as we please and that we have been bought with a price we can never repay but with our own lives dedicated to Him for His service (Holiness, holy is the same word in the Greek language for a Saint of God!): If we are to be a Temple for Him to dwell in, (1 Cor.3:16-17; 1 Cor.6:19-20; and 2 Cor.6:14-18!). This cannot be done unless we die to self; this was supposed to have taken place in our baptism as seen in Ro.6:1What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? (How can we be baptized into Jesus unless we have His name being given to us in our death to self? So we can be raised out of the water of death and the grave and come up in newness of Eternal Life in Jesus; for there is no other name given by which Salvation comes, Ac.4:12; See Ac.2:38-39!) 4Therefore we are buried with Him (Jesus) by baptism into His death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life (To go and sin no more as seen in scripture, Jn.8:11 or a worse thing will come upon you, Jn.5:14!). 5For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death (The New Testament Covenant), we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection (To have dominion over sin and the powers of this world around us, 1 Jn.4:4!): 6Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin! 7For he that is dead is freed from sin. 8Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him (In Spirit and in Truth, Jn.4:23-24!): 9Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over Him. And all of us who have been purchased with His blood; Ac.20:28Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers (That means you and I here! We are the Temples of the living God in us!), to feed the church of God, which He hath purchased with His own blood!
We all must die to self!
Unless we die to self and live only for Jesus and live according to His words which clean us (Jn.15:3), from our filth of a sinful life (By obedience to His words to us!) we too cannot bear His fruits, unless we die to self and pick up our crosses and dying daily (We die daily anyways, we were born with this fatal disease but are we dying for Jesus and His Gospel work? Mk.8:34-38!), for the reaching of the lost and spreading the gospel; if not, we are not fulfilling what it is we are here on this earth to do with our live (Lk.17:7-10); as seen in Mk.8:34And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 35For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it! 36For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? 37Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 38Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. See also Mk.12:28-34.
What we do with our lives (Proves our Faith in God and His words to us!), and this will follow us all the way to judgment day, because God will not be mocked and every word we say in idle conversation will be held to our account, Mt.12:36-37, (Therefore let us speak only the oracles of God, 1 Pt.4:11!), seen as well in Rev.14:12Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. 13And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit; that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them! Seen also in Rev.22:6And he said unto me: These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. 7Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. 8And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. 9Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. 10And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. 11He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be! 13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14Blessed are they that do his commandments; that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie (Who do not keep the words of this Holy Bible all of them, not just the ones we want to keep, because the flesh wars against the Holy Spirit, Gal.5:16-18! This is the main subject of Roman’s chapter 8 as well!). 16I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches (Heb.1:7 and Ps.104:4-5! See Mk.12:24-27!). I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and Morning Star, (Rev.2:26), (See 1 Pt.1:9-11 and 2 Pt.1:19-21). 17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely (Lk.11:13). 18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book! (See Deu.4:1-2 go not to the right hand or the left, Deu.5:31-32 and Josh.1:7: This is what is meant by Mt.7:13-14 and few that there will be that keep to the narrow path of righteousness and holiness!)
It takes all Scripture being alive in our hearts and active in our lives to be found in Righteousness & Holiness & Perfect without Spot or Wrinkle and without Blemish!
We do not get to pick and choose what scriptures we care to follow in our pursuit of His Holiness and Righteousness, for all these qualities must be in us or we will not enter into His Kingdom without them. They can only be found when we have accomplished all scripture in our lives according to His will or we are still in our life and in our own will and our ways, which are not His ways as seen in Is.55:6Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. That is why we must obey His words to us, it is our righteousness or we are only living as we lived before and have in that case never really repented, have we? Can two walk together unless they agree? Amos 3:3, neither can we agree with our Lord and Saviour unless we walk as Jesus walked on this earth (Jn.14:6)! We can’t do that unless He is alive in us, for it will be Him in us who does the works, by the power of His wisdom and His will for us, 1 Cor.1:24, so we can be found to give glory to God by His True Son’s, Jn.1:12-13, Ro.8:8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live!
14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together! If we do not allow the Holy Spirit to rule our lives we are letting the flesh rule our lives and then we find ertanal death, because we have not surrendered to thee will of the Holy Spirit in our lives, Mt.12:31-32, and unless we are found in His fields of harvest we have already begun to be found as backslidden, in His eyes! Mt.12:30, shows us this revelation!
Whom will learn Truth and Knowledge?
1Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding. 2For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law. 3For I was my father’s son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother. 4He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live. 5Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. 6Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. 7Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. 8Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. 9She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee. 10Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many. 11I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths. 12When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble. 13Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.
The principle thing here is the understanding; the doing is showing wisdom is in place and being used, when we understand correctly, this leads to believing what you understand to be true and not a lie; by this acting upon ones beliefs that are in the truth seen of God’s will we are them found as Righteous, because we judged right and our judgment was true in word and in deed, Col3:17!
Just as seen in Is.28:9Whom shall he teach knowledge? And whom shall he make to understand doctrine? Them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: 11For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people! 12To whom he said: This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
This was shown to us for a very good reason, we are to be baptized in the glorious name of Jesus for the remission of our sin, for there is no other name by which His Salvation comes as seen in Ac.4:12. When done this way we too can be as those in the New Testament Book of Acts Church as seen in Ac.2:1And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance!
This is the stammering lip that was talked about by Isaiah in the 28th chapter, see earlier here.
Eph.4:30And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
If we are not born of the water and of the Spirit we are still none of His as seen in Jn.3:3-8, without this Holy Spirit baptism with speaking in tongues, we are not sealed with His covenant and we will be seen as Justified in His Eyes: (1 Cor.6:11, Seen here His name and His Spirit allow us to be seen as justified or one who is saved and has truly found His Salvation and Repentance, Ac.11:15-18! We have no true Salvation until our race is over and we step into eternity and hear well done My faithful servant!), without His Holy Spirit being in us as seen in Ro.8:1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit! 5For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, IF so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now IF any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. (See also Ro.8:10-14 for those who are led by the Holy Spirit are the true Sons of God!)
We live or die by obedience to the words of God in our lives!
2 Tm.3:16-17 in order to be found perfect, Mt.5:48 as required, to have good works!
Having works worthy of Repentance!
All scripture is given by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost and is our law to us in obedience to God’s words; we will either live and obey and live with Jesus for eternity or die in our flesh and be lost in Hell forever more! One or the other nothing in between! We either choose to die to self and live for Christ forevermore, following Him as required in scripture Jn.14:6Jesus saith unto him, I AM the Way, (I AM) the Truth, and (I AM) the life: no man cometh unto the Father (In ME), but by ME. Or die living our lives for us and our families because if we have not Jesus first in our lives before anything else, we are not worthy of Him, and we will be found as not perfect as required. Mt.5:48Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. See Mt.10:32Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. 34Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. 37He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me! 38And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me! 39He that findeth his life shall lose it (Tries to gain the world and have all the pleasures of it, is not of God, 1 Jn.2:14-17; (Let your joy be turned into mourning, Jms.4:1-10): and he that loseth his life for my sake (And the gospel’s sake, Mk.8:34-38) shall find it (If we are ashamed of His word to us He will be ashamed of us and IF WE ARE ASHAMED OF our jobs to win the lost to Christ Jesus, He will find us as well shameful: Here is what a sham looks like in the eyes of our God, Dan.12:1-2!). 40He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. 41He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. 42And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
How are we to do all this without His Spirit in us? We can’t, just that simple! Unless we have been truly been born-again, His way, as called out in His words to us given by Him and His Ordained Apostles who had the keys to heaven, which were used on the day the true church of the living God in Jesus was formed; on the day of Pentecost as seen in Ac.2:37Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost! 39For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call (This is a promise of God, if we ask Him for it; will He not give it to us? God cannot lie, IF we have a pure heart and our motivation is right, then He will be glad to give whosoever will His Holy Spirit, Lk.11:13). 40And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation! That means come out from among them, for the world lies in wickedness (Jms.4:4), 1 Jn.5:19! That is what repentance is all about; going in a new direction with a new crowd and a new crown of Righteousness and Holiness on your head, a royal crown of God’s Grace; to not grieve the Spirit, by which you are sealed; or a worse thing will come upon you and it would have been better if you had never heard or received the word of God preached unto you!
Jesus ordained His Apostles in Jn.15:16 and told them that if we will keep His words we will keep theirs too (Jn.15:20), for they alone had the keys to heaven and they used them all on the day of Pentecost and about 3000 souls were joined to the church. Not only did Peter give his first ever sermon here but is was longer than just those verses I have shown you here, for exhorted to them with many words, to they who were in the crowd who wanting to know the way to salvation, with many more words did Peter say to them! It takes all scripture for us to live a holy and righteous lifestyle and for us to be seen as one of these here: Eph.5:27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. To be perfect as called out in Mt.5:48 and as seen here; 2 Tm.3:16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works!
How can we have all scripture living in us so we can be found to be perfect and have the ability to have good works? See we are not saved by faith and grace alone. We must show works worthy of repentance, it is scriptural, as we look to scripture yet again for our guidance; which was shown to us as Apostle Paul revealed his conversion and testimony to King Agrippa in Ac.26:19Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: 20But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance! As well as even Jesus’ words to us in the Book of Revelation. Revelation chapter 2 and 3 talk about the works going on in the church and how Jesus found some of their works not pleasing to Him and not perfect; if we are truly His we will be found perfect as He is perfect by the power of His Spirit revealing His Truths to us to keep us out of sin, (1 Jn.5:18). As He also has shown us that He will judge us by our works as seen in Rev.22:7Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. 14Blessed are they that do his commandments (Which is every word given to us in this Holy Writting, from Gen. to Rev. Mt.5:17-20; Mt.24:35!); that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
All of this is what Paul and James were showing all those who had been converted, who had received the baptism of the Holy Spirit as shown in all the Epistles; for the Epistles were written to them who it had been confirmed to have had this experience in them. For they all had shown evidences of the confirmation of this baptism, with speaking in tongues, as well as other signs of the gifts of the Holy Spirit dwelling in them, for we are to test the Spirits, 1 Jn.4:1Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. And prove all things: 1 Thes.5:21Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. How are we to do this? Unless Jesus’ Holy Spirit lives in us, for His Spirit will lead us into all truths! This is the Spirit which the world cannot have, Jn.14:16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; 17Even the Spirit of truth (Jn.1:17); whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you, Jn.14:18! (Ac.2:1-4)
We can only have His Spirit when He has revealed Himself to us as seen in Mt.11:25At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes (The humble, the lowly and meek to confound the wise, Zach.3:12-13; 1 Cor.1:27!), 26Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. 27All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him! 28Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Only if you have been born again or you can never carry His yoke, for His word to us is His yoke and it is crushing the world because they have not sought after Jesus with a pure heart; they seek Him for what He can do for them and to keep them out of Hell and this is not the right Spirit that is conducive to a pure heart. That is only a self-serving heart! Not a heart of a willing servant who is full of love for His Master is it? The heart of a willing servant that will do anything for His Master! For that is a servants job, Lk.17:7-10!
No one can know who Jesus is until they understand the Father in Jesus is the Holy Spirit who is the power of the Highest seen in Lk.1:35 for the Father is in Jesus and Jesus is the manifestation of the Eternal Father seen in (Jn.12:45), Is.9:6For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Almighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Who is our God with us seen in Mt.1:23 our Emmanuel, which was made a way for by the last Old Testament Prophet of God, the Prophet John the Baptist. We see who John baptized when he baptized Jesus in the Jordan, look to Is.40:3The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God! Jesus knew who He was and why he wanted John the Baptist to baptize Him, so all righteousness could be fulfilled; this meant the word of God (The Old Testament) was to be tied directly to the New Testament, for the scripture cannot be broken, Jn.10:35, see Mt.5:17-20 and Mt.24:35!
Unless we know Jesus is our God manifested in the flesh, the One True God as St. John describes in the last verses of his 1st Epistles to us seen in the final verses here in the fifth chapter, which all the previous chapters and verses was leading up to this one end point, this eptomical (Essential) climax; he was trying to show us about Jesus: Seen in 1 Jn.5:20And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true (Jn.1:17), and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ (The Adopted Son of King David, God is the Son of God according to the flesh used for His manifestation, His incarnation, to be the begotten God, as seen in Jn.1:18 in many Greek original writings!): This is the (One Deu.6:4; Mk12:29, Is.40:3!) true God, and eternal life. If we do not understand Jesus is the One True God and that there is no other gods besides Him, we are worshipping in vain and have made up a religious system that is of men and not of the leading of the Holy Spirit. This is no better than what St. John warned us about in the last verse seen here as well: 21Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
When we live our lives in our own fashion and it doesn’t line up with the words of God for us, we are not worshipping in Spirit and in Truth as required in Jn.4:23-24 and unless we know who Jesus is in reality of the written word of God and not of man’s vain imaginations such as this trinity doctrine which came about over 125 years after St. John had died, which was started by Tertullian and ratified at the council of Nicene in or about 225 A. D and finally ratified in or about 550 A. D. four hundred and fifty years after St. John showed us who Jesus is, (look to Jn.10:30 and 12:45 also, when you see Jesus you see the one who sent Him, He is Holy Spirit made flesh!).
The Trinity which was derived from Philosophical terms of the heathen philosophers because they could not correctly describe the Greek word ousia (Ousia (/ˈuːziə, ˈuːsiə, ˈuːʒ(i)ə, ˈuːʃ(i)ə/; Greek: οὐσία) is the Ancient Greek noun formed on the feminine present participle of εἶναι (to be); it is analogous to the English participle being, and the modern philosophy adjectival ontic. Ousia is often translated (sometimes incorrectly) to Latin as substantia and essential, and to English assubstance and essence; and (loosely) also as (contextually) the Latin word accident (sumbebekós).). Which means substance or essence as well as our metaphysical consciousness of self (To be), which is fine when speaking of natural man but our God with us is anything but natural, for He was all man but yet all Otherness and distinct (Holy) from anything we know in the natural realms of our cognition (Being). Unless we have been baptized in His Holy Spirit, we cannot truly understand Jesus in Truth and we will die in our sins; as stated in Jn.8:24I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I AM [HE] (see Ex.3:14), ye shall die in your sins. Jesus is the First and the Last and there is no other gods besides Him for He knows no other. Jesus is the I Am of Ex.3:14 as well as Jn.8:58Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM! What did the priest do when they heard this; that Jesus was saying to them? They started looking for stones because Jesus revealed to them He was God in the flesh, the Messiah, the Christ who was foretold who was to come, that the prophet was to make a way for seen in Is.40:3, who was their God! The Jews only know One God because that is all there can ever be is One God. Not and never will there be three! We search the scriptures for in them we hope to find salvation and truly that is why the Lord gave us His grace which is His will for us so we can know Him by His words to us, this is seen in scripture also; Ac.20:24But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God! This is another definition of God’s grace to us, which is the Gospel of God our Lord Jesus because Jesus is both LORD and the CHRIST, seen in Ac.2:36 who is LORD of ALL, seen in Ac.10:36. We search the scriptures for in them we hope to find salvation from God’s grace: Ac.20:32And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up (Sanctify you by justification in obedience to His every word to us, this is Holiness being separated unto Him only, when we are baptized in His name and have received His Holy Spirit in us, this is shown to us in 1 Cor.6:11!), and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified! You see here that God’s grace to us is His favor, which is His mind being shown to us in his words to us; which is His will for us to live in (Jn.6:63). He has shown us who He is and what it is that we must do to be found pleasing in His eyes or in other words to be found in His will. For if we fail to see all that the Lord has shown us through His words to us and we are not obeying all scripture; because scripture cannot be broken, Jn.10:35 as Jesus has told us repeatedly. All scripture is for one reason only, that we might find salvation by knowing this one true God of ours as told to us by Jesus in Jn.5:39Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of ME! 40And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. 41I receive not honour from men.
We will take a man’s word of today, given to us, over the last Apostle’s Word, in which his life was spent in bring salvation to all nations as required by all disciples of Jesus Christ. Who did just as the Holy Spirit instructed them to do for His Kingdom and Jesus’ glory! We will believe one of the Nicolaitanes (Roman Catholic, who preach and teach, Catholicism and Dogma of men as commandments of God, see Mt.15:7Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, 8This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.), over one of Jesus’ true Ordained Apostle’s written Holy Spirit inspired words to us; just because they wanted to scare every one with their anathema so they could hang onto their power and position as well as their wealth and lands and dominion over governments! That is what Nico-laitane means: Nico or Niko to conquer or utterly vanquish, in this case the, Laos, meaning laity or people! This is what the priests of the Roman Catholic Church did, they conquered the body of Christ Jesus, who are the Temples of the One true Living God, not an organization! A true Apostle of Jesus Christ serves all and is the least of all, he is not one to be served by the people, but serves only Jesus and His children!
(See http://doctrinesofchrist.com/The%20Heresies%20of%20the%20Nicolaitans.pdf pages 7-8) (See also Clarence Larkin’s book Dispensational Truth page 130 fourth paragraph from the top left side. On Nicolaitanes.)
This is exactly what the Roman Catholic priests did in the dark ages is it not? This is they from which we get the Trinity doctrines from, they who said men were condemned for heresy in one age and then renowned for their teachings and philosophies in another age and vice versa, so much for the infallibility of the Pope! History stands in ready to prove my points here as well; if one will just do their own home work and quit relying on someone else to spoon feed them their salvation, the way they like it, 2 Tm.4:1I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. 3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables!
We are to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling, Phil.2:12. We all are about to stand before our God this Lord Jesus as seen in verse 10 and give an account for what we have taught and what it is that we believe and only when we agree with scripture and not man’s teaching can we find ourselves being approved or we will see this verse being played out in our lives; Ro.3:4God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. By our words and our actions we will be judged for its correctness by the 66 books, for they will be opened and we will be judged by the words of God (Jn.6:63) and how we perceive them to be. We were told to go and sin no more, Jn.8:11 and Jn.5:14 or a worse thing will come upon us!
Only they who Know Jesus and have been born again of His Spirit, and can be taught the truths of our Lord Jesus because only Jesus is Grace and Truth, Jn.1:17 and the word of God made flesh, Jn.1:14, which is God, Jn.1:1. Only when we have been born again of God as seen in Jn.1:12-13 can we then know how it is to be blown where The Holy Spirit will send us in His stead, Jn.3:3-8 as we know and believe in the name that is above ever name and hold only to Him as seen in Jn.3:16-18 because we bear His name at our new birth coming out of the death to self in our flesh, in the resurrection to life eternal that is only in Jesus’ name, being led by the Holy Spirit, Ro.8:1; Ac.4:12; Jn.14:14. That is why the Church of God in Jesus Christ was birthed on the day of Pentecost and some 3000 souls entered into His rest on that day and were filled with the baptism of the Holy Spirit and they spoke in tongues as well as the Apostles, for this was the sign given for this exact reason so we would know without a doubt, just as the council in Jerusalem found out as well in Ac.11:15And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning! 16Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. 17Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God? 18When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying: Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life! That they may know Him and walk in newness of eternal life, keeping unto Him alone and his words to us! 1 Pt.1:13Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. 17And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: 18Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19But with the precious blood of Christ (Ac.20:28), as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
Without this experience we have no repentance of God’ wrath towards us! All we will have forward looking to is seen in Mark chapter 9, where Jesus talked about a worm dying not and a fire which is never quenched, just as Ezekiel stated we would be the fuel for that fire as well in Eze.21:31And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, and skilful to destroy. 32Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it. See also Eze.22:30And I sought for a man among them; that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land (Very soon we who have been truly saved will be pulled up out of the way in the catching away! Then there will be no one to stand in the gap, this is the falling away of the church that is in the end of time, just before the rapture!), that I should not destroy it: but I found none. 31Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD (The great Tribulations!). As well as, Jer.7:19Do they provoke me to anger? Saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces? 20Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched!
God’s Repentance, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, with evidences of speaking in tongues!
This was shown to us at Cornelius’ house (Ac.10:1-48) where the first Gentiles came to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified for the shedding of blood for the salvation of those whosoever will believe in Him only. There can be no forgiveness of sins without the shedding of blood, in this case a perfect sinless sacrifice was found in our Lord Jesus and only they who have received His name at death to self in the watery grave can be saved by the power that is attached to that name as seen in Mt.28:18 and if we ask anything in that name believing we can have it, it will be so, as seen in Jn.14:14. So why in all that is righteous would we let anyone baptize us any other way than by those who had the keys to heaven, seen in Ac.2:37Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (only if you believe it is for you as shown to us in Lk.11:13)! 39For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.(Many are called but few will be chosen, are you one of the few?) 40And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
Then comes the many more words of exhortation, the learning it takes to become a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ; we must come out from the world that lies in wickedness, we are cleaned by the words of God, Jn.15:3, only as long as we use them in our lives, being true faithful and devoted disciples; means we follow after what Jesus has taught us in word and in deed, the way we live our lives is our worship to Him! That is worshipping Jesus in Spirit and in Truth, Jn.4:23-24! See Col.3:17.
The Holy Spirit baptism is for us today, we are still in the same of age of grace as the Apostles were when the Holy Spirit had been poured out upon all flesh (We are in the Last Days, Joel 2:28), for all who will ask to receive it in faith believing it is for them, Lk.11:13If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
If not we will end up as one of these who have not the Spirit of God in them seen in Is.28:13But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken. All because they have not the one that had the Holy Bible written in the first place in them, to do the interpreting for them as they read they read the scriptures and to lead them into all truths in the correct order of presentation; for the mysteries to be revealed to them by the Holy Spirit. They will read it and keep reading it and it will just continue to confuse them until they get tired of it and bored with trying to understand it; then they will just put it down and go to some church that will preach to them, the way they like it and it makes them feel good, all the while they are headed for Hell worshipping a god of their own choosing, a god of their own vain imaginations they have conjured up or let someone else conjure up their idea of what god is to them, Mt.7:15-29! 2 Cor.11:13For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
This is where we are at today as well with this New Age Emerging Puke they call a church. Satan hides his angels as ministers of light and they are all around us leading us into temptation for freedom labeled and sold as free grace (2 Pt.2:1-22). As long as you just believe you will be saved… the Apostle James, Jesus’ own brother knew different. Jms.2:19Thou believest that there is one God, thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. The demons know there is only one God so why don’t we? Just believing in One God is not going to save you either unless you know Him personally and have a relationship with Him alone; and do His will and follow Him in word and in deed, Col.3:17And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him! Jn.14:7-9; Jn.10:30; and Jn.12:45!
It takes all scripture living in us as shown before in Jn.15:3, unless His words live in us we are not His Holy Temple and He is not dwelling in us unless His Words are alive in us in our lives, 2 Cor.6:14Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? 15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. See Amos 3:3; Mal.3:6 and verses 16-18!
We cannot get this done on our own; we need the supernatural help of His Holy Spirit in us to get this job done or we can never fulfill all scripture in our lives, such as this one: 2 Pt.3:18But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen (2 Cor.4:6). How can we do this unless we have Jesus come to live in us as seen in Jn.14:18 and was well discussed by Jesus in Jn.17:1-ffs so we can be one with Him with the Father in Him and He in us! This is the secret mystery the Apostle Paul was talking about in Col.2:1-ffs; you notice there Paul talked about God and the Father and of the Christ Jesus, no mention here while discussing the God-head of the Holy Spirit, why? The Holy Spirit is part of the trinity’s godhead isn’t it? Sure it is, but Paul knew who the Holy Spirit was and that God is that God that is a Spirit (Jn.4:24, that is a Holy Spirit, seen in 1 Pt.1:14-ffs!) from which all spirits come from and will return to, Ecc.12:7 from the Father of all spirits seen in Heb.12:9. This was who was manifested in the flesh of the seed of King David, which was adopted of God clear back in 2 Sam.7:1-16, which is the sure mercies (The Promise) of God given to Him because of the promise given to Abraham, that through his seed all nations should or could be blessed as seen in Gen.12:3And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. The only ones out of all those nations who will be blessed is the ones who know who Jesus is and few there will be that find that one straight gate on that one narrow path, Mt.7:13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at: 14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it! See also Mt.20:16So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen. As Well as, Mt.22:14For many are called, but few are chosen. All because they or mankind could not come to terms with who Jesus is as well as those who live by His every word, but do not have a pure heart (1 Cor.13:1-3); Our God made it impossible for anyone to come dwell in His Kingdom without having a personal relationship with Him, by having a life spent in truth of His word living in us not so we could get a blessing from Him but that our hearts will be found as a child’s innocent heart is found, Mt.18:1At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? 2And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, 3And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 4Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
You see sin of ignorance is forgivable but sin of presumptuousness is unforgivable unless repented of and only they who know Jesus and what it is that He is looking for in us can be found in His will. That is why we can pray and get what it is we are looking for from Him because we know His will for us and the world. We serve Him and Him alone do we serve and we serve His Kingdom as it was told for us to do that with all our hearts, mind, strength, soul, body and with all our Love, for God is LOVE and those who are His love the whole world and we are not a respecter of persons, we love all the same! Sinner and Saint alike! This is why so many will be called but only a few will end up being chosen because of Mt.7:12Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. See Gal.5:14-18!
The Apostle Paul told us to seek after the best gifts of the Spirit and to covet them, 1 Cor.12:31But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way. What could possibly be a more excellent way? It was shown to us in the next chapter; 1 Cor.13:1Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. We can have the best works in the world and it will do us no heavenly good or get us any eternal Favour. Only loving Jesus and our fellow mankind, all of them, can we get to have His favor found applied to our lives but the sad part of this is; we cannot have it unless we have been regenerated in our heart with His mind, His feelings, His love, the supernatural love that is impossible to have unless we have been Born again of His supernatural soul, which is His Holy Spirit in us. That’s why many are called actually the whole world is called to come know Jesus, for He would that none be lost, 2 Pt.3:9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
You see the gift of salvation is anything but free; it cannot come until we do one thing and do it right! That is repent, turn from our wicked ways, for the whole world lies in wickedness, 1 Jn.5:19, the Bible tells us so; we need to make up our minds to live for Jesus only and ask him to forgive our sins! Then we are to go and sin no more! We must make up our minds to seek after Jesus and Him only will we devote our lives to Ro.12:1-2o for example. We must do this as a willing vessel, as a freewill offering, to give to Him and ask for nothing in return only His love and forgiveness Lk.17:7-10. Not for any self-seeking motives just to keep our sorry buts out of Hell, that is the wrong reason and attitude; it will get you nowhere ever! He sees to our hearts there is no fooling Him, He sees to our very soul! Only when we seek Him as a pure helpless child and know without a doubt we have sinned and against Him only have we sinned! Then and only then can we come to Him on fresh innocent ground that has been purified by His love for us. When we receive His love we have all power we will ever need to go and live this life of ours in a victorious sinless manor, as seen in 1 Jn.5:17All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. 18We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. If we know it to be a sin, then it is a sin to us because it goes against His will, which is His words to us. Mt.12:30He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.
31Wherefore I say unto you: All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
32And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost (By which all scripture is inspired by, 2 Pt.1:19-21; 2 Tm.3:16-17; Mt.4:4; see also Jn.6:63!), it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, and neither in the world to come. For the word of God is by which his government is set in place according to His Holy Words to us, by His living words, which will never die, Mt.24:35!
If we are not gathering souls for Him in this our last days, we are not dying daily for Him and we will be found not worthy of Him, won’t we? Mt.16:24Then said Jesus unto his disciples: If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. 26For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 27For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works! Right out of Jesus’ own mouth and if anyone thinks the Apostle Paul was teaching anything other than this they are those who Peter was talking about in 2 Pt.3:10But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy (The same word used for holy is the same word used in the Greek for Saint of God! Hagiois Strong’s number 40) conversation (Which is not just speaking here intended but the doing of one’s life!) and godliness, 12Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness (Which is right thinking and just judgment, that is obedience to all scripture (2 Tm.3:16-17) which cleanses us, Jn.15:3!).
14Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless!
15And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction!
17Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness (So much for once saved always saved! We are to keep growing in Christ Jesus!). 18But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen.
Seeing then that with all our getting of this word of God to us, we are to get many blessing from God along the way, we need not keep asking for blessings from Him He knows exactly what we are in need of before we ask; but it is important to know what it is He is looking for in us. As we grow closer to Him and learn more and more about Him through reading His word, He will keep fulfilling His promises to us and reveal more and more of Himself to us through His words to us. It is written draw closer to Him and He will draw closer to us Jms.4:6But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 7Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 9Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. God cannot lie, His words are the only words in the whole world that are truth and never can be anything else but truth. (2 Tm.3:16-17) It takes all scripture living and working in our lives to be found righteous and separation from the world of wickedness to be found Holy, a vessel chosen by our lord God to be used for His services, that means sanctified, and consecrated to God only will we serve!
It is only when we start to live in those truths can we be found as righteousness of God in Jesus, 2 Cor.5:14For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: 15And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. 16Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. 17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away (Repentance has taken place!); behold, all things are become new (we have gone in a new direction away from sin and the world of wickedness!). 18And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God (because Jesus is God in the flesh, 1 Tm.3:16 our Immanuel, Mt.1:23, who is God with us!). 21For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (Jesus our righteousness of God in God! Son of God according to the flesh used for incarnation, the begotten God in Jn.1:18 in many Greek manuscripts!).
Never take the words of men in this world, only rely on the plan of salvation that is found in the living words of Jesus Christ and His anointed and ordained apostles, for God changes not, Mal.3:6 and God is looking for these kinds of people, Mal.3:16Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. 17And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. 18Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not. As well as these; Ecc.12:10The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth. 11The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd! 12And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh. 13Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man! 14For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. This is found in the New Testament as well, Heb.13:8Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.
We are all called to be found in Holiness and Righteousness which is only found in the truth of the Lord’s words living in us! On our own we can do nothing as called out in Jn.15:1I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 3Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. 9As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 10If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. 11These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. 12This is my commandment: That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13Greater love hath no man than this; that a man lay down his life for his friends. (Not speaking of war here either! We are to love all and give our lives winning the lost with love, as seen in Ro.12:1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Doing no evil: 14Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. 15Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. 16Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. 17Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 18If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. 19Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. 20Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. 21Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good!)
We must be servants before we can graduate to be His friends (Apostles)! This can only be done when we learn to love as He loved the world and died for it, so must we too, to ourselves, we must die daily and pick up our crosses as we follow after Jesus in like manor, Jn.14:6! Then we come to this verse: 14Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. 15Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father (The “HOLY SPIRIT” in Jesus, for He doeth the works, the power of the Highest, Lk.1:35 by which Jesus was conceived, the FATHER, because God is a SPIRIT, Jn.4:24!) I have made known unto you. 16Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you (so why would we not ask for forgiveness of our sins in the only name by which all salvation comes, Ac.4:12? In the only name by which Salvation and forgiveness of sins is available to us in Jesus’ Holy name only! The Holy Spirit is sent to us in Jesus’ name, Jn.14:26 and Jesus comes in His Father’s name, Jn.5:43 and we will not come to Him so we can have salvation by His name, Jn.5:39; that has all power attached to Jesus’ name, Mt.24:18 and Jn.14:14!). 17These things I command you, that ye love one another. Here is where mankind fails most miserably and is therefore not worthy of Jesus and His Kingdom. Jesus is the Kingdom of God seen in Mt.12:28 and seen again in Lk.11:20; which started clear back in Mt.4:17, as well as, Lk.17:20And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21Neither shall they say, Lo here! Or, lo there! For, behold, the kingdom of God is within you! We are the Temple of the Living God not some building or organization or denomination! We the individual is the Temple of the One True God, Jesus Christ’s Holy Spirit in us, Jn.14:18! Why does man make everything so difficult, so they can get your tithing that is intended for the true needy, the true poor and helpless, the orphaned, the widows who can’t get out and work anymore, the old and aged who can’t get out and mow their yards or takes care of getting the groceries or cleaning their houses, we should be taking care of our elders not shipping them off to a nursing home, Jms.1:25But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. 26If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain. 27Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this: To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
Who will hear our words?
Then the world will hate us too, for the world cannot bear our words and will not accept them either for they of the world hear us not, 1 Jn.4:5They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. As St. John relayed to us from which he heard straight from Jesus in Jn.8:47He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. As Jesus spoke to the priests of the Temple of the One True living God. Jesus told us who he was when He said one greater than the Temple is here, when He was speaking to the members of the Sanhedrin. Mt.12:6But I say unto you: That in this place is one greater than the temple. He (Jesus) was speaking of Himself for which the Temple was built for Him! It is a holy temple because it was consecrated for His use, this is how we become holy too and we must become His property and be sanctified unto Him for His use only, in order for us to be a worthy child of God!
All this is just the scratching of the surface as they (Aquila and Pricilla, in Ac.18:24-26) who took Apollos off to the side to show him a more perfect understanding as seen in Ac.18:25This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John. 26And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly! Just as Apostle Paul did to the disciples of John the Baptist in Ephesus in Ac.19:1And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, 2He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him: We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. 3And he said unto them: Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism. 4Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people; that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. 5When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus! 6And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied! 7And all the men were about twelve.
This and so much more I have to teach you but I too must wait until you have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit with speaking in a heavenly language as all them who were in the upper room in Jerusalem as seen in Ac.2:1And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them! 4And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance! And then Jesus’ Spirit will lead you into all truths (Jn.1:17), for no one can go up to heaven unless they have come down from heaven first, Jn.3:13And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. When he comes upon you, you will then understand this verse in its entirety, for He will reveal it to you! As seen in Mt.11:27All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. Jn.3:3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. How else can we fulfill the last verse here unless we are truly born again of a Supernatural Holy Spirit, with His giftings present in us for our confirmation, as seen in 1 Cor.1:1Paul called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through (by) the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother, 2Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus (Ac.20:28, Mk.16:1-20), called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: 3Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ (Jn.10:30 and 12:45!).
4I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; (Jn.1:17): 5That in everything ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; 6Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you (Rev.19:10): 7So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: 8Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
This as well as my book I have published will get you very far along the way to true Oneness of God seen in Isaiah chapter 44 and 45 for examples, as well as in Ex.3:14, to know the One True God who is the “I AM” as seen in Jn.8:58 and Jn.8:24, who Jesus has shown us to be, by revealing to us who He is in scripture, which is the truth of God’s words to us in the world that lies in error and a horror rapidly approaching!
We are all sojourners traveling and travailing through a valley of the shadow of death, Ps.23:1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. 4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
This is a Psalm for the living and is most heard at a funeral, so the living can come to the realms of understanding that as long as we put our faith in the given words of God to us that cannot lie, we shall always find comfort and guidance in the times of our trials, because if we live for Jesus, truly live for Him as is called out in scripture, we will always have persecution even from those who claim they are one of Jesus’ children, who are still of the world, living in their own hypocrisy, using only the scriptures that will justify their life styles the way they want to live in this short time we have here called out times of temptation and trials, Jn.16:33, just as Jesus went through in Matthew chapter 4. Only when we keep God’s word available in our minds and always on our lips, will the devil flee from you at the mere mention of Jesus’ all powerful name! They (The demons) can’t help themselves, they know Jesus is God in the flesh, that was foretold by the prophets, as “The CHRIST” (See Ac.2:36 and Ac.10:36), as they, who were being carried along in His Spirit while being instructed what to write to us; as I have been doing all the way through this too, I will teach nothing but Jesus, and Him alone will I serve as the One True God, 1 Jn.5:20, seen in 1 Tm.3:16 and Is.9:6 as well as Is.40:3 and Jn.5:39, that all scripture is written about, for our Salvation! So we can know the one true God, Jesus our LORD of ALL!

Rev.2:4Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. 5Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
