This is a Study of the Word Repent, Part II

Help us build a House of God where it is needed, among the poor, homeless, widowed and orphaned!

Mt.25:40And the King shall answer and say unto them: Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. See also 1 Jn.4:16Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren (Are we not all one flesh under Adam and Eve? If so then all the world is our brethren!). 17But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?18My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth! 19And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him!

And James; Jms.2:14What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 15If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 17Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone!

We need Donations for the Widows, Orphaned, Naked, Sick and Poor; Church Building Fund for Accra, Ghana, Africa: (Brother Davies at “The Shekinah Glory Assembly”) and For Bibles and church furniture: Under Construction. The foundation is in, most the brick walls are up on outside, still needed 1000 more bricks, 20+ bags more of concrete and three more loads of sand (they are small truck loads) plus now we need to start funding for the roofing materials,  windows, and doors to enclose the building. 100% of your donations go to the field of operations and to the people it is intended to help! Lord’s Way Ministries is going to support this effort in any way we can; all your help will be directly routed to Accra, Ghana, Africa thank you for your support.

Part II

This is a Study of the Word Repent.

Another Theological Paper

By Rev. G. L. Boyett

Can Two Walk Together Unless They Agree? Amos3:3

(Mt.4:17From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say,

Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!)

Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand: Many translations say it should read as near: But this is incorrect, when something is at hand it means it is in your reach, and is ever present, even in your accessibility! All because the translators forgot to include all scripture before they tried to translate this verse here: Such as this one; Mt.12:28But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you! As well as its counterpart seen in Lk.11:20But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you! You see Jesus is the gate to the Kingdom of God seen in Jn.10:1-ffs; He is at the end of the narrow way (Of Life!), which hardly no one will go, to get into the straight gate, which is eternal life; (See Lk.17:21Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. If you are one of these in Jn.1:12-13; and Jn.3:3-8 seen in Ro.8:1-9 and ffs!)! Seen in Mt.7:13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at: 14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Why did Jesus say this? The answers are many, that is a Bible Lesson all of its own! The main reason is this: Jn.4:24God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth! Many, many people will go to Hell for this one reason alone! They are not worshipping in Truth which is required in the word of God; this is not my doing; I just relay the message and point out scripture that is not being fulfilled today! If we do not abide in Jesus we will be cut off as seen in Jn.15:4Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit (What fruit are you bearing for His Kingdom today?): for without me ye can do nothing. 6If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

If the world loves your preaching; then you know you have a problem right off; because the whole world lies in wickedness! If they like your preaching then you must be wicked, just as Jesus explained here in Jn.15:19If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. 20Remember the word that I said unto you: The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you (If we are living correctly to the actual word of God in our hearts, we too will be persecuted as legalist and fundamentalist’s as well, with many, many more adjectives, such as Holy-rollers, Tongue Talkers, or those Holiness People! Are you an outcast? If not maybe you too are too mainstream Christian; one of those who are saved by grace and faith alone and goes right on as they did before they repented! This is not repenting at all!); if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. 21But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me (Which is the Truth and Spirit issue because they have not truly been born-again of God, Jn.1:12-13 and Jn.3:3-8 of God’s Spirit in them shown to us in Ac.2:1-4!). 22If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin. 23He that hateth me hateth my Father also. 24If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father (Jn.10:30 for they are one in the same!). 25But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law: They hated me without a cause! All because just as it is today they do not understand the mystery of God and the Father and of the Son Jesus Christ (Col.2:1-12)!

Which ends up where we see the original problem, the people of the world do not know who Jesus is and they do not know who God is! If they really knew the identity of Jesus they would know the identity of God who is called the Father many times…As Jesus even identified Himself as the Father to us in scripture; Jn.14:7If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him! The reason so many people are confused is because they do not understand God is a Spirit, Jn.4:24, spoken of by Jesus, to the Samarian woman at the well! She understood that God was a Spirit; and understood Jesus to be speaking the Truth! So there is but one good as Jesus said to the young rich man: (Mt.19:16-24; Mk.10:17-25), which is Jesus’ Father in Heaven, so who is there around the throne room saying what? The answer lies in Rev.4:8And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. Meaning Jesus Christ who is both LORD and the CHRIST seen in Ac.2:36 and who is LORD of ALL, in Ac.10:36, who better be in you all as seen in Col.3:11Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. As well as Ro.8:9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his!

Then who can be saved?

Mt.19:25When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

26But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

The Answer is it must be a God thing that is seen in:

Jn.1:12But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:

13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God!

Or we are none of His; why is this? It is because we are not worshipping Him in truth of His spoken word to us! We are listening to a worldly religion who has not listened to the words of salvation; that is our eternal live to us seen in scripture; Jn.6:63It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. You see they are the word’s of Jesus’ Father which are being spoken by Jesus Himself, who has the Father in Him, who is the Holy Spirit, which purchased us with His own blood; seen in Ac.20:28Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood!

This is the exact reason old doubting Thomas said this in Jn.20:28And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God. Now if Jesus was not God; Jesus would have had to have straightened them all out right here and now and correct Thomas if he had misunderstood what he was seeing! We do not read that in the following scriptures do we? No, we see that Jesus let Thomas’ words stand alone for the whole world to see and understand exactly what Jesus was crucified for; That He is equal to God with us as seen in Mt.1:23, because all the fulness of the God-head was in Him and we are complete in Jesus Christ, Col.2:8Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 11In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: As long as we have not let anyone falsely take us through some man’s vain religious traditions instead of listening to scripture only, and have done what is called out in the very next verse; For salvation is in the scriptures seen here below:

12Buried with him (Jesus) in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead!

Repeated again in Ro.6:3Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: This is the New Testament Covenant we all must keep to be in His will! Therein lies all the power to go and sin no more, because you see if we are baptized into Jesus Christ we are baptized into all power that is attached to His name: Seen in Scriptures! For instance this one Jn.14:14If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. All salvation is attached to that one name: Jn.3:14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: Was symbolic of Jesus on the cross! Showing the rewards of Faith in the word of God which is eternal life!

15That whosoever believeth in him (Jesus) should not perish, but have eternal life.

16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son (His incarnate flesh, 1 Tm.3:16; see also 1 Jn.5:20!), that whosoever believeth in him (Jesus who is God with us, Mt.1:23 and who was prepared a way for by John the Baptist seen in Is.40:3 and again in Mt.3:3! Make straight in the desert a highway for our God!); should not perish, but have everlasting life. (When we are obedient to His every word to us as a good child of God should act, Jn.8:47He that is of God heareth God’s words: As well as this one too; Jn.8:51Verily, verily, I say unto you: If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death!) Receiving Salvation is conditional on obedience to His every word to us; so how can we call ourselves Christians and not walk as Jesus walked when it is a commandment to us, this is not worshipping in Spirit which is the word of God to us and in Truth because people have no concept of who Jesus actually is!

Jesus’ flesh is the Son of God, which is the flesh used from the Davidic lineage so the prophecies could be fulfilled in David’s lineage that they (The sons of David) would sit on the throne of Israel for forever; this is the sure mercies spoken of in scripture, seen in 2 Sam.7:15-17!

17For God sent not his Son (Flesh, 1 Tm.3:16) into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten (incarnated) Son (Flesh) of God! All power of forgiveness is attached to that one name, Ac.4:12Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved! (1 Cor.6:11: It takes Jesus’ name and the Holy Spirit to be justified in the eyes of God!)!

19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (See Jn.8:12: Jesus is the light of the universe as we see in Gen.1:3 Jesus is God who lives in His own Shechinah Glory seen in 1 Tm.6:14That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: 15Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; 16Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting! Amen and Amen!)

20For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. (See Jn.12:35-50!)

21But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. This is worshipping in Spirit and in Truth seen in 1 Jn.2:1My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous(Which shows us who Jesus is right here and everyone over looks it all the time: it says we have an advocate with the Father Jesus Christ the righteous who is the propitiation for our sins and the sins of the whole world!):

2And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 3And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments (Therefore they who do not keep His commandments do not know Him do they? They must not be worshipping in Truth and in His Spirit or they would know Him and His Truths because they had His Spirit living in them; leading them into all righteousness which is right judgment and right justice basically just right thinking and right acting which agrees with all of God’s words to us! Amos3:3: Are we perfect as He called us out to be? Mt.5:48; Eph.5:27 we must be without spot, or wrinkle and without blemish! With man this is impossible but not with God in us and we in His will for us; we then will be found justified in His eyes; by His name given to us at baptism and by His Holy Spirit residing in us for our justification seen in this scripture here: 1 Cor.6:11!)

4He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. (These are those who say we have no more commandments, which will be the least in His Kingdom, seen in Mt.5:19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

20For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. You see no man will enter into Heaven unless they have right thinking and are found to be justified in their actions and their thinking, which is righteousness that had better be a pure righteousness that was not seen in the scribes and Pharisees who knew the law and the word of God; but had unpure hearts, and motives! Our intentions had better be Christ driven intentions as a good and faithful servant of God or we too will never make it to be His Disciple, let alone Friend, which can then become an Apostle; because they have been faithful with a few things, they can then be trusted with many as the Apostles were given the Keys to Heaven; and we cannot have them either unless we abide in Jesus and His word to us! That is the Key to Heaven: It is Obedience to God’s word to us!

They Keys to Heaven

5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. 7Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.

This is all the children of God had back then, when this was written; which was the written word of Moses’ Torah and the Tanakh the Old Testament which is joined to the New without contradictions, nothing was done away with that was in the Old Testament except for what Jesus did on the cross, which cleanses all sin away for those who walk in Him and His word to us or you are in your sin still! You cannot be cleansed by His word unless you agree with it and use it in your life, all of it; not just the ones you want to obey!

Jn.15:3Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you (Jn.8:51; see Jn.6:63 and verse 68!). Jesus was talking to His disciples that were about to be named Apostles who He is about to send out by commissioning them as seen in their Ordination in verse Jn.15:16Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name (Jn.5:43), he may give it you! Thus the secret to Salvation; Salvation is tied directly to Jesus’ name because it is the very Name of God (Is.49:26; Is.9:6.); Jn.5:39Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. From Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21 the whole book is about God making a way for His people who are supposedly called by His name to come to Him, from their apostasies, which were caused by Adam and Eve, who walked in their own will and received a word that was not the word of God, which led to sin of disobedience; all the way back at the beginning of man’s relationship with God, when man took it upon himself to try and be like God, in disobedience to God’s will for him! So how in the name of all that is righteous; how are we going to have any right to stand before our great God and not even know who He is?

You will not unless you know who Jesus really is and it is not part of some manmade philosophies called a holy trinity: Because the one that is First they numbered last, God the Holy Spirit that kept telling us IN Him I Am, Well Pleased; twice in Matthew, Mt.3:17 and Mt.17:5 and what did He say? He said to listen to Him who is Jesus our God with us, the invisible God manifested in the flesh for all mankind to see, revealed to us in Is.7:14 and shown to us again for verification in Mt.1:18, 20 and 23! Emmanuel meaning God with Us!

Some Roman Catholics’ tried to understand the scriptures by tradition instead of by the only interpreter which is the Holy Spirit which they never had or they would have known how to figure this out, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself by Jesus Christ, who is the flesh of God! 2 Cor.5:18And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19To wit, that God was in Christ (How can God be in Christ unless God is the Holy Spirit as I and the word of God claimed, Ac.20:28 and Jn.20:28?), reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation (Which there can be no reconciliation unless repentance comes first by us whom He is calling, Jn.6:44!). 20Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God (How can you be reconciled to God unless we are baptized into Christ Jesus, who is God with us and is our righteousness? Otherwise there can be no regeneration!). 21For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (Jesus).

If we are Regenerated as seen in Tit.3:4But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7That being justified by his grace (Word or the Gospel (Mk.8:34-38), Ac.20:24 and verse32 which is God’s love to us in that He gave us a way to know how to come to Him by giving us His will for us, which is seen in His words, which are eternal life giving words to us, Jn.6:63 and verse 68!), we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life!

How are we to have this unless the Holy Spirit that was lost in the first rebellion of Adam and Eve is restored to us? This is what regeneration is all about but regeneration cannot be ours unless we do as we are instructed first, by those who held the Keys to Heaven! Mt.16:18And I say also unto thee: That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Peter used these Keys on the Day of Pentecost shown to us in scripture; after the men who crucified Jesus asked what they should do, Peter showed them here:

  • Ac.2:37Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
  • 38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
  • 39For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.
  • 40And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

So Repent as Jesus said in Mt.4:17 leads to regeneration of the Holy Spirit in you! Only after we have Repented, then can we be baptized for Remission of sin, when something goes into remission it stops what it was previously doing, as told to us in scripture yet again, by Jesus Himself to at least two people in Jn.8:11She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her: Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. And again in Jn.5:14Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee!

This cannot be done unless we have the supernatural power of God’s name in us, which was given to us in our death to self, in the water of remission of sin, and we are raised out of that watery grave to newness of eternal life in the power of Jesus’ name by which the blood of the sacrifice was administered to our souls by the fulfilling of the new Age Covenant, given to us in Ac.2:38-40; when we separate ourselves from the world that lies in wickedness seen in 1 Jn.5:19And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. Therefore those who are truly born-again, who have repented, and have experiences remission of sin, to go and sin no more, and to walk as Jesus walked being He is the Way the Truth and the Live we are to live, if we truly abide in Him and His word abides in us; we will come out from among this untoward generation in obedience to God’s Holy Anointed Apostles,  have told us to do because it too was a direct Commandment of Jesus Christ seen in Jn.15:20Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also!

The “First Church of God in Jesus Christ” started on the Day of Pentecost and verse 41 shows us how many were joined on the first day: 41Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls: Which included the 120 that the Holy Spirit fell upon in the upper room in Ac.2:1-4, for they too were rebaptized in Jesus’ name also! Just as these were; Ac.19:1And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, 2He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him: We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. 3And he said unto them: Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism. 4Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people; that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

5When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus: 6And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied: 7And all the men were about twelve (They were in fact re-baptized here because we are to be baptized into Christ Jesus or we have not been baptized correctly; all we did was have a man made ritual of man’s traditions given to us, if it was done any other way! Col.2:6-9 as seen in verse 12 and Ro.6:4)!

If baptism is this important that someone needs to be re-baptized because they had not received the Holy Spirit, then it is important enough to go and lay hands on them so the Holy Spirit will come upon them when they had been baptized correctly but had not received the Holy Spirit yet, seen in Ac.8:14Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: 15Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: 16(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus!17Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. The Lord determines who and how you receive the Holy Spirit and when! It can only be given when the vessel has been cleansed by the word of God! 2 Tm.2:  19Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity! The Repentance must come first! Or you are still a vessel of dishonor!

20But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

21If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.

22Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart! Only those who have a pure heart will see God, Mt.5:8!

So for the regeneration to be complete we must have had to Repent, have been Baptized correctly as seen by those who had the Keys to Heaven, which was shown to us in scripture so we too would know how to do it correctly; as shown to us in Ac.2:38-39 as it is clearly stated for us in scripture: 38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call! So many are called but few will be chosen, only those who are serious about obedience to God’s given word to us, for it is our eternal life to us, Jn.6:63 and 68! Without Repentance, and without remission of sin, we cannot be regenerated in the Holy Spirit, because He will not dwell in an unclean vessel! Without the power of the Holy Spirit in you; you will find no redemption, from your filth of a sinful generation that lies in wickedness! There can be no Salvation given to man whose words to not line up with our God’s, Ro.3:4God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged!

Walking in Truth:

Can Only Be Seen by Walking in the Scriptures!

The only way your word and God’s word and ideas are going to line up correctly is to have had a supernatural event in your life called out in scripture as being born-again, seen in Jn.3:3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4Nicodemus saith unto him: How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee: Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit (Jn.1:12-13). 7Marvel not that I said unto thee: Ye must be born again.

8The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit!

This cannot be done unless Jesus’ Spirit is in you, seen in these verses here; Jn.14:16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; 17Even the Spirit of truth (Jn.1:17 and Rev.19:10!); whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you (Who dwelt with the Apostles and who promised to be with them and in them, but Jesus?). 18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you! Seen here: 2 Pt.1:20Knowing this first; that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation!  21For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. This was shown to us to be Jesus’ Spirit if we had read the previous scripture and concluded Peter had been talking about Jesus seen here in verse  19We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place (Gen.1:3 and Jn.8:12! See also Jn.12:35-50 as well!), until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Who is Jesus shown to us in Rev.22:16I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. The promise given in Rev.2:25But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. 26And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. 28And I will give him the morning star. 29He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Which was the same Holy Spirit seen in 1 Pt.1:9Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. 10Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you (Jn.1:17): 11Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow! Which testified of Himself in Zech.12:10And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon ME whom they have pierced: Which is One Spirit, One Lord, One baptism and if we would know who Jesus is we would know and have seen God for He is One, Zech.14:9And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one!   Seen in Ro.8:8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his! It is the same Spirit that is in Jesus which is the power of the most High God seen in Lk.1:35And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest (God, Jn.4:24!) shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing (Should read HOLY ONE) which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God (Gen.12:3; 2 Sam.7:4-16 The covenant of the sure mercies given to King David and his offspring a perpetual Kingdom, Ps.110:1!). Who is in Jesus and Jesus in His bosom, Jn.1:18 the only begotten God as it is written in many Greek manuscripts for this exact reason!

How is one to be led by the Holy Spirit and live in the Holy Spirit which the world cannot receive unless the men of this age or any age give up on the flesh and live according to the Spirit because the flesh cannot please God! Ro.8:1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit!

2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

3For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh (Because there was not a sin in Him because He; Jesus was being led by the Holy Spirit which is His own Spirit in Him, Mt.4:4; Jesus is the bread that cometh down from heaven, for our salvation, but we still must keep every word out of God’s mouth, which is Jesus’ own mouth shown to us here in 1 Tm.3;:16!):

4That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit!

5For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. (If we still walk in the flesh and in the ways of this world that lies in wickedness how is there the Holy Spirit working in our lives which is the word of God, (Jms.4:4)?)

6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God! For it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be!

8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God!

9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his! (If we are still none of Jesus’ we are in fact still none of God’s either and will not see heaven for very long, we will be carried away screaming “My God my God why have you forsaken me?”!)

10And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

11But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you: Which rests on Repentance, Remission of sin, and Regeneration of the Holy Spirit; which equals Justification!

12Therefore, brethren, we are debtors (Means we must repay a price; which is the cost of discipleship, seen in Ro.12:1-2 through ffs!), not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

13For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

15For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption (Being Pent or Bound as in confined; by an Everlasting Covenant and an Inheritance!), whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: (You will never have to ask if you got the Holy Spirit; it will be all over you and you will never be able to keep from knowing it; just as you will know who Jesus is, in Spirit and in Truth, Jn.12:45!)

17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together (Jn.16:33 are you having tribulations in your life, then maybe Jesus is calling you to come out from among this untoward generation because living for God is a required course; we must know the costs of discipleship, Mk.8:34-38 and Mt.10:32Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven34Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. 37He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me! 39He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. 40He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me (How can you receive the Holy Spirit if we have not known who Jesus is and who sent Him; for they are one in the same, 1 Tm.3:16; Jn.12:45!). 41He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward (Rev.19:10); and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward (Jesus is the Righteousness and Power of God made Flesh!). 42And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward!).

18For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

19For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

20For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

21Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

22For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

23And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit (Eph.1:13In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, 14Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.), even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

24For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?

25But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

26Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

27And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. (The Holy Spirit is the very Will of God seen in Lk.1:35 and 1 Cor.2:1-16 otherwise how can we have the mind of Christ Jesus unless His very Spirit indwells in us?)!

28And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (If we are truly a son of God we will have His purpose always before our faces so that we will be knowing what His will is for us and be carrying that out as seen in Ro.12:1-2: As a Faithful servant will do what is required of Him for His master, Lk.17:7-10!).

29For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. (2 Tm.2:19-26)

30Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified (With Himself in them, Jn.14:18!).

31What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

32He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? (Just as Jesus gave Himself for us we too are to give ourselves for Him and His glory by redeeming the time and go about redeeming those who know Him not!);

33Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.

34Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God (Which is nothing more than a Euphemism, to be in all power and authority as shown to us Mt.28:18!), who also maketh intercession for us.

35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36As it is written: For thy sake we are killed all the daylong; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter (Heb.12:1-*4*-7 to 29!).

37Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. We are the only hindrances that can come upon ourselves with caring for the flesh before the Holy Spirit; by being carnal and in the flesh; we cannot please God, Ro.8:1-ffs! With man this is impossible and not until man is reborn (Regenerated) of the Holy Spirit can he then walk in the ways of God and be ye perfect as God is perfect, Gen.17:1 and Mt.5:48 because God changes not, Mal.3:6 and Heb.13:8!

The Natural Man Cannot Even Get Past Mt.5:1-48 in Truth!

People cannot even get through Mt.5:1And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:

2And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

3Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

4Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

5Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

6Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

7Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

8Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

9Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

10Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.*

11Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

13Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

14Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

15Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

16Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

18For verily I say unto you: Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

20For I say unto you: That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

21Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

22But I say unto you: That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say; Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

23Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;

24Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

25Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.

26Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.

27Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:

28But I say unto you: That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

29And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

30And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

31It hath been said: Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:

32But I say unto you: That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

33Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:

34But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God’s throne:

35Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.

36Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.

37But let your communication be: Yea, yea: Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

38Ye have heard that it hath been said: An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:

39But I say unto you: That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

40And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also.

41And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.

42Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

43Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

44But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

45That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

46For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? Do not even the publicans the same?

47And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? Do not even the publicans so?

48Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect!

Don’t think it strange God made the Holy Bible so difficult and hard to walk in and to live in: He is perfect and He made us in His Image! It’s time we start walking in Him if we are going to be called by His name! In order to be a Christian one must be Christ like, 1 Jn.2:1My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 3And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

If a man keep not himself away from sin the love of God is not in him; 1 Jn.3:1Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is! 3And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure! 4Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 5And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him!

7Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God! 10In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Only those who have a pure heart will see God, because he has made Himself manifest to them: Mt.11:27All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and He to whomsoever the Son will reveal Him! Only those who have had the Son reveal Himself to them will be those who are in fact worshiping in Spirit and in Truth because they have the mind of Christ in them: 1 Cor.2:1And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

2For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

3And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.

4And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

5That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

6Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

7But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

8Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

9But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

10But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

16For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

You see the Repentance is one event, the Baptism in the water in Jesus’ name is one event the power to have remission of sin so you can go and sin no more; and the regeneration the brings Justification and the Rapture at the End of Days is given to us with the Power of the Most High God Living in Us; which is His every word to us that brings eternal life to all who will receive Him and turn and go a new direction called Repentance! To be Rebound or Repented into a Covenant agreement with Him who brings Eternal Life to whosoever will receive it (Lk.11:13, and 28!)! Not the words of this world because the world cannot receive this Spirit only the repented, those who have found remission of sin and who go and sin no more because God’s word lives in them because they have His Holy Spirit leading them into all His Truths which is His Will and His Mind, which is His word to us!

No mortal man will receive an immortal body and see that body in Heaven unless He follows God’s divine will, which He made known to us in His Scriptures to us! We can only be cleansed by His words as seen in Jn.15:3 WHEN WE ABIDE IN HIS WORD AND IT ABIDES IN US! All of them, no mortal man can do this only those who have truly been born-again of God can do these supernatural things seen in all scriptures; 2 Tm.3:1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good. 4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; (This is today my friends, many of these talked about right here unfortunately stand behind Pulpits!) Which we are to turn away from, Mt.7:15-23!

5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away! (They talk a good show and speak the word of truth but their own walk doesn’t line up with what they are preaching, Mt.23:1-ffs! They are the most hated by our Lord, and will be judged most harshly too, Jms.3:1My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.)

6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 9But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

We are to stay in the doctrines of those who imitate Jesus:

1 Cor.11:1Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. 2Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you!

10But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,

If we live in the word of God persecution will follow us, as we too will be called legalist as we keep His words alive in our hearts!

11Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution!

13But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. (Is this not today as well?)

We are to continue in the faith delivered unto us which is in the living word of God: A God who cannot lie given to all men for their Salvation!

Paul teaches Timothy that he is to keep the word which was given to him from his parents and even his grandparents which is the word of God in the Old Testament as well as the word Paul it writing to us as well as them back then!

14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Again Perfect comes up! With man this is impossible, but with God in us, all things then become possible to them who will receive Him and His Spirit in them! If only they will seek Him: He will give them His Spirit in them, Lk.11:13If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? If they are living in His righteousness, as Cornelius, who was the first Gentile to receive the Holy Spirit because he sought God continually, with good deeds, alms, and prayer and fasting and it came up to be a memorial for him in God’s eyes, Ac.26:19-20! That is what we too must do if we are really serious about wanting the LOVE of God which is His GRACE as seen in the word of God, Ac.20:24 and in the Gospel Ac.20:32 as well as this which is the cost of Discipleship: Mk.8:34And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me! 35For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it!

36For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? 37Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 38Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels! These are the requirements to be one of God’s Disciples and few there will be!

Unless we intend to give our lives over to Jesus just as He did for us we have no right to Him or His love for us! Just as Jesus Repented of doing to us what He should to all sinners, which is dead in his own sin; God the most gracious God gave us a way when there was no way, by His goodness, which leads us to repentance seen in Ro.2:4Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? Then why are there so many people who say I am a Christian and still are walking around as they did before their so called conversions? I have a scripture for all those who say I’m saved by faith and grace alone; Jms.4:1From whence come wars and fightings among you? Come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? 2Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. 4Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God! 5Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain: The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? 6But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 7Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 9Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

If you’re a friend with this world you are an Enemy with God, you cannot drink of the cup of God and the cup of this world, are you greater than God, 1 Cor.10:21Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils. 22Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he? We are grieving the Holy Spirit with our own self will which is not God’s will for us and is thus called presumptuous sin, which will never be forgiven of in this age or any age to come, Mt.12:31-32 and 46-50 because God changes not! No stubborn self willed theologian, philosopher or psychologist will be able to enter into God’s Kingdom unless their own, theology, philosophical views and their own mind or psychological opinions are exactly like Jesus’ and few that there will be! See Mt.7:13-14 and mt.20:16 as well as Mt.22:14, spoken by Jesus just for this reason. Men will seek after men to preach to them a story that they want to hear and is the life that they want to live. They will do just as Paul said to Timothy in 2 Tm.4:3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

We too have grown lukewarm just as the Laodiceans seen in Rev.3:14-22! This was a message for this or any age that is acting this way, it too will stand in the wrath of God when he comes to Judge the church, because judgment starts with the church first, 1 Pt.4:17For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 18And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 19Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

Therefore we must work out our own salvation just as Paul said in Phil.2:12! Because any day now we will hear the shout of the arch angel and hear the trump of God, and then it will be too late to repent! Any one left on the ground after this point is all but lost, except for the 144,000 that will be the remnant of God’s Elect. For the Bride will already be taken up, for the marriage feast; and few that there will be!!! Therefore Repent; and do the first works or He will come quickly and remove your candlestick form its place, Rev.2:5!
