First off we need to determine what a “Holiness Issue is” we see in Leviticus chapter17-27 are listed as Holiness chapters on your average internet search of the Holy Bible. But I suggest to you that from Genesis to Revelation of Jesus Christ to the Apostle John, are all Holiness chapters! For one important fact, God changes not, Mal.3:6 seen in the Old Testament and when we understand that Jesus is God in the flesh as seen in scriptures; and I will only use two for my reference on this and I will explain why later after commenting on my point of subject; Mt.1:23Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us! As well as 1 Tm.3:16And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit (1Cor.6:11 for justification! It takes Jesus’ name and His Spirit in you, Ro.8:9! Or you are none of His yet still!), seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles; believed on in the world, received up into glory (Jn.8:24 The I AM also seen in verse 58!). Just to make it clear that there can be no doubt as to the identity of Jesus Christ as our God in the flesh as He said He was; and they continued to pick up stones to stone Him every time He told them who He was, should speak for itself! Just in case there is someone out there who is under some trinitarian objection; I will use the reference of Old Testament scripture to prove who Jesus is and the New Testament version of it in reference to the other. First we will start off with Is.40:3The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God! Is this not what John the Baptist did in Mt.3:1In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, 2And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. 3For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. Exo.3:14And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. As we see Jesus who identified Himself as the same I Am; seen in Jn.8:58Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I Am! 59Then took they up stones to cast at him: Just as I said earlier, He identified Himself to His own and they received Him not; refers us back to Jn.1:1-18 which verse 18, in the original Greek says, “the begotten God,” in many manuscripts, which being translated means incarnated God in the Flesh who is in the bosom of the Father who is Omnipresent God who is everywhere showing us who the Father really is and that is the Holy Spirit which purchased us with His own blood as shown to us in Ac.20:28Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood (Showing us again who Jesus really is and even more precise who the Father is, see Jn.4:24 God is a Spirit and there is but one Holy, Rev.4:8 see also Is.9:6, the Mighty God who is also the Eternal Father here called the everlasting Father who is the Prince of Peace!)! Which manifested Himself in the seed of King David’s lineage, making Jesus the Son of God by proxy of the flesh being used; which is the adoption and the sure mercies given to King David that His lineage (2 Sam.7:15-16!) would sit on the throne of Israel for forever: Being fulfilled in Jesus Christ who is now; Both LORD and THE CHRIST: I refer you to scripture for these conclusions; Ac.2:36 and Jesus who is LORD of ALL seen in yet again scripture; Ac.10:36, who is all authoritive in power and majesty, seen in these scriptures as proof and verification of Jesus’ Divinity: Mt.28:18 and Is.9:6For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace!
Jesus is the fulness of the Godhead in the flesh of mankind, making Him God with us as shown to us in Is.7:14 and Mt.1:23! Even Jesus said it best; Jn.12:45And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. It seems to me the confusing part everyone has a problem grasping is that they have not understood a simple well known and most over looked fact; that God is the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is God not the spirit of God but actually God in Essence and Substance! There are only two blaspheming clauses in the Holy Bible and that is to curse the name of God and to violate His will or be disobedient to His given word to us! Called Presumptuous Sin; shown to us in Mt.12:31Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 32And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. And I will show you why! Look to these verses; 46While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
47Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee. 48But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? 49And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! 50For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. Ending of the same chapter!

Who is the Father? The Father is the Holy Spirit, look to Mt.1:20But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost! When we understand that the simple reality of this whole dilemma of some vain man’s philosophical attempt to decipher the manifestation of the Godhead in man is not as difficult as one might assume, when we understand by listening to Jesus, we can and do discover who God really is, as shown to us in Jn.4:24God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. In order to worship God in the Spirit and in the Truth one must know who He is, or He is not worshipping in truth; now are they? Beings God is A Spirit it only stands to reason that if the angels of God are around the throne of God as called out in scripture; they are in the presence of God saying what? Rev.4:8And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, Holy, Holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come, (Is.9:6). Just as Jesus said; “When you see Me you have seen the one who sent Me!” Just as Jesus said here in Jn.14:6Jesus saith unto him, I AM the way, 9(I AM) the truth, and the (I AM) life (Jn.6:68): no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me! 7If ye had known Me, ye should have known My Father also: and from henceforth ye know Him, and have seen Him! See Jn.14:8-18.
That is the reason why the Apostle John said when you have the Father you have the Son and if you have the Son you have the Father, seen in 1 Jn.2:23Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also: 24Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. All because they are one in the same person, the Father the Holy Spirit in Jesus Christ who was given the Spirit without measure; Jn.3:34For he whom God (Who is the Holy Spirit) hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. Col.2:2That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; 3In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. 4And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words. 5For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ. 6As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving: 8Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ (By which the Trinity came by Philosophers!). 9For in him (Jesus), dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily! 10And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 11In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

We cannot call ourselves a Christian if we do not follow after what our LORD Jesus said to do, Jn.14:15If ye love me, keep my commandments. Along with this one, Jn.15:20Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also! We will keep their sayings also, who were the people Jesus was talking to here? It was His recently Ordained Apostles in verse 16; 16Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. Who had recently been given the Keys to bind on earth and in heaven and to loosen on earth and in heaven as well! This was given unto them because they were to receive Jesus’ own Spirit in them, very shortly, Jn.14:16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; 17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you! Because it is Jesus’ own Spirit in them: Which was the Spirit that revealed all truths which is God’s Grace to us, Jn.1:17! Jesus is the Spirit of truth, and of God’s grace which is His word to us for our admonishment; to know His will for us, seen in the gospel of Jesus Christ which is our Salvation, from Gen. to Rev. it is all about one person Jesus Christ; Jn.5:39Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me! 40And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. 41I receive not honour from men. 42But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you. 43I am come in my Father’s name and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. 44How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only? He revealed Himself here yet again!
People time and time again seek man’s word instead of just letting the bible speak for itself! If we know who Jesus really is and if we obey His Apostles given words to us, then and only then will we receive Jesus’ Holy Spirit in us! Just to show you that Jesus’ Spirit is the Holy Spirit and that they are interchangeable with one another I will give you a few scripture references, which scripture will show that Jesus’ Spirit is just what I said it is!
1. Look to 2 Pt.1:19We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: (When the Day Star arises in your heart is when you are baptized in the Holy Spirit and the Spirit of Truth which is Jesus’ Spirit, Jn.1:17; will then start to lead you into all truths, as shown to us in Is.28:9Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: 11For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. 12To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear! Just as it is being said time and time again by preachers and so called teachers of the gospel who say that the gift of the Holy Ghost is not for us today or the gifting as well; because they have not received it, but others have and it is mandatory as called out in scripture, Jn.3:3-8 and if we have not the Spirit of Jesus Christ in us we are none of His yet still, Ro.8:9! The gifts from above are without repentance as shown to us by the Apostle James in Jms.1:16Do not err, my beloved brethren. 17Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. This in fact is who all the Epistles were written to, those who had been verified and confirmed to have had this supernatural repentance given to them from God as Cornelius and his friends and family had received while listening to Peter’s Sermon to them at Cornelius’ house, seen in Ac.10:1-48 as well as being established as the evidences given to the council in Jerusalem for justification for Peter to have baptized Gentiles who were in fact uncircumcised, which was against the law of the Jews; for Jews to commune or eat with a gentile! So Peter was in fact establishing a president here for the first time: Which all the other churches would soon follow suit in the same doctrines being set forth here; who had received the same baptism of the Holy Spirit as well as all of them, in the same manor! This was revealed to them by Peter and all his witnesses that went along with him for this reason. All these things done were well established for this reason so we too would have a clear understanding of the whole matter, as it is recorded for us in the Holy Bible for this exact reason. And then repeated in the very next chapter just so all would understand the facts of the case! Ac.11:1And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God. 2And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him, 3Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them. 4But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying, 5I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me: 6Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. 7And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat. 8But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth. 9But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. 10And this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven. 11And, behold, immediately there were three men already come unto the house where I was, sent from Caesarea unto me. 12And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man’s house: 13And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter; 14Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.
15And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. 16Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. 17Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God? 18When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life!
You see hear that it says God had given them the repentance unto life; which is the baptism of His Holy Spirit in them as the Apostles and all the rest had received in the upper room as it is shown to us in Ac.2:1-4! Ac.2:1And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind; and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance!
This was the documented proof needed to convince the council in Jerusalem that they in the house of Cornelius had in fact received the same gifts that the Apostles had in the upper room in Jerusalem, as well as those of Samaria, seen in Ac.8:16-17; who had been baptized in Jesus’ name but had not received the Holy Ghost experience unto Peter and John came to laid hands on them! It was supposed to be an Apostle who led the way for Samaritans who were cross between Jew and Gentiles of an unpure race considered by the Jews; which were now installed into the new formed church of Jesus Christ who is the chief cornerstone, that is being rejected even today; for all those who think He is 2nd to anything, and the one they placed as the last person of their trinity is the First and the Last who became flesh, so we could be saved by the Blood of the Holy Spirit who is our God in Jesus Christ reconciling the whole world unto Himself by Him, seen in 2 Cor.5:19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (Jesus, Jn.14:6-7; see also Jn.10:30 for they are one; just as Zach.14:9 says! Even Gal.3:20 God is One!)!
That is why it is mandatory to have this baptism of the Holy Ghost experience with speaking in tongues given for verification purposes; you will not have to ask anyone when you receive it; everyone around you will know just as they did in the upper room experience, as shown to us at the beginning of the out pouring, that was called out in Joel.2:28; because God changes not, Mal.3:6 and Heb.13:8! We are still in the same age of Grace and Truth that is being poured out on all flesh so that we may know the mysteries of God and of the Father and of Jesus Christ as spoken by Paul in 1 Cor.1:1-ffs so that we come behind lacking nothing but we too will have the gifts given to us by our heavenly Father that wants all the Son’s of God to have His supernatural gifts so that His sons may bring glory to the Father as the flesh of Jesus did in His flesh: Jn.14:12Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. 15If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; 17Even the Spirit of Truth (Jn.1:17); whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for He (I) dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you!
You see these gifts are conditional; we must become His disciples and know the cost of discipleship! Which centers around Holiness, being separated from this unclean world that lies in wickedness as seen in 1 Jn.5:19 and Ac.2:40 and further scriptures, they obeyed Jesus and continued in the doctrines set forth by the Apostles who had the keys to heaven! Why on earth would anyone want to go about trying to change them; with curses for doing that are attached to anyone who does this; Deu.4:2 again in 12:32; this is what is meant by not going to the right hand or the left, Josh.1:7 from Deu.5:32-33 and Prov.4:27; see also Gal.1:8-9; 1 Cor.16:22 and Rev.22:18-19? We must teach the whole truth and every scripture must agree with all of the rest or we have the wrong interpretation of it! Jesus did not come to do away with anything; Mt.5:17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven!
Without the Holy Spirit in you there can be no real Spirit of Truth which is of God, in you! Without the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ in you how are you to understand His meanings of His scriptures unless you have His mind which is His Spirit (Jn.14:18)? 1 Cor.2:1-16; this can only be done by or with the Baptism of His Holy Spirit in you; with signs following of His presence as seen in scripture for verificational proofs (Jn.3:3-8)!
Now According to Scripture, Holiness and now Righteousness is Required to get to His Kingdom!
Without Holiness and Righteousness you cannot have a pure heart and be found as perfect as required by Jesus Christ. (Mt.5:8; 2 Tm.2:19-22)! Since the fall of man, man is continually wicked and is in need of regeneration of his heart and of the Spirit of God being restored into mankind, Tit.3:5!
Without it you end up as one of these seen in Is.28:13: from 9-12 who have been regenerated but these in verse 13 are not!
This last verse (13 in Is.28) is for those who think they have this Holy Spirit but of course do not; and will not glean the true context of the word of God, and receive the word and right away and then they are lost and confused by the word of men being spoken to them and are lead away after some man’s commentaries because they do not have the Unction (1Jn.2:20-27!) or the ability to have God’s Spirit in them leading them into all truths as seen in Jn.6:45It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me (Jesus)! These are the ones who will fall backwards because the word of God makes no logical sense to them and they will lose interest in reading something they cannot understand because they have not the only interpreter that is available to decipher or Exegesis, it for them because He wrote it as shown here in 2 Pt.1:20-21 and 1 Pt.1:9Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. 10Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: (Grace will be talked about in a minute! It too is a lesson that must be taught or we are not worshipping in spirit and in truth without a clear understanding of the idea or context of the meaning of God’s grace according to scripture and not man’s understanding of the word!) 11Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow! (Just for your own personal word study and another private Bible lesson that is good for everyone is to do a study on the word Glory especially Is.42:8 and Is.48:11 and then go to Jn.11:40; and then 2 Cor.4:6; then 1 Cor.2:8, and the Ten Lepers in Lk.17:11-(*18*)-19; these will show you that the Glory of God which will not and never will be given to another, is the glory of and in Jesus Christ! Who resides in the Shechinah Glory in which no man can approach seen in 1 Tm.6:16Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen. These will show who Jesus is also!) But those who have not the Spirit of Jesus are none of His yet still as shown in Ro.8:1-9 and ffs. Therefore they cannot pray in the Spirit as shown to us in these scriptures then, can they, Ro.8:20-ffs? Is.28:13But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken!
Without the Holy Spirit interpreting scripture man is clueless to the actual understanding of God’s grace and His grace cannot be poured out on them because they really don’t know what it is that He requires of them because they have not His word living in them; as shown to us in Ac.20:24But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God! Which is the Gospel of God’s Grace, which is His will for us, which is given to us by His word, which is His will as shown in Ac.20:32And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified! His every word cleanses us and sanctifies us as seen here also Jn.15:3Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Then and only then can we properly translate His word because not only is it living in us, it is guiding us into all His truths; while we stay on His narrow path: Mt.7:12Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets! 13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at: 14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it! Jesus knew this that His flesh was to be given for a sacrifice for our sin and that it was not the important thing, because that which is flesh is flesh but that which is Spirit is Spirit (Mt.4:4 Jesus is not only the bread of life but the word of God manifested in the flesh, Jn1:1-14) therefore Jesus said this, Jn.3:3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God! 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit (See 1 Cor.15:28 Jesus’ flesh will always submit to the Spirit which is God in Him, seen in Mt.3:17 When God the Omnipresent Father who is the one who conceived Jesus making the Holy Spirit Father of Jesus’ flesh the seed of Mary the handmaiden of the Lord the Servant of God given the Divine Essence that fertilized her seed with the sure mercies of King David’s lineage given divinity to sit on the throne of Israel for forevermore! How can we do what the Spirit tells us to do and go where the Spirit wants to lead us if we have not His Spirit living in us? That is the reason we must be born-again of the Water and of the Holy Spirit or we are none of Jesus’ yet still, Ro.8:9 which is the Spirit of God! For there is only One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism (1 Cor.6:11 of One Justification!) 4There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 6One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Col.3:11Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all, Jn.14:18! Because He alone is LORD of ALL, Ac.10:36! When we have His Spirit in us who wrote and told them (The Prophets and Apostles) what to write for us; it can only be translated by Him who wrote it; who is supposed to be living in us! The sin of ignorance is forgivable when repented of but the sin of presumptuous sin or willful sin is not; which is talked about in Heb.12:1-29 and the result of sin is death, the eternal death to the sinner, who does not abide in God’s words of truth and they all will be found out as a liar if their words do not line up with God’s understandings of what He meant, seen in Ro.3:4God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written: That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged! (Mt.12:36But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Only Holiness and Righteousness, which is Godliness, will stay in the LORD’s Presence because that is what a Saint of God is!
2 Pt.1:20Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but Holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost! Which is Jesus’ own Spirit as shown in 1 Pt.1:9-11 and here in Zach.12:10And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon ME whom they have pierced: This being spoken to the prophet of God some 530 years before the actually fact and God said they will look upon Me whom they have pierced; Jn.19:37And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced! This was Jesus on the cross; that the Holy Spirit (1 Pt1:9-11 which is the Spirit of Jesus shown here in these verses!), spoke to Zachariah; was it not? Without a doubt is was! Read Is.53 it tells us the same story about the crucifixion! Holy Men spoke as the Holy Spirit which is the Spirit of Jesus Christ as He told them the things that were about to come upon Him for our Salvation (Jn.5:39), 1 Pt.1:9-11!
Jesus is the revealer of all Truths, Jn.1:17! He must reveal Himself to you!
No one can know who Jesus is unless Jesus shows them; Jn.6:46Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father. Mt.11:27All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and He to whomsoever the Son will reveal Him! ~
Without Holiness (Heb.12:14) and Righteousness (Mt.5:20) No man will enter into the Kingdom of God!

Interpreting Christian Holiness – Chapter I
The BIBLICAL Interpretation of Holiness:
ALL CHRISTIAN TRUTH must be based on the teaching of the Bible. God has spoken in the Scriptures and has made known to us both His will for our lives and His provision for our needs!
No important Bible truth depends on scattered and isolated proof texts. One man is said to have claimed that he could prove atheism from the Bible. He offered the text, “There is no God.” What he did not say was that the context reads, “The fool hath said in his heart: There is no God” (Ps. 14:1The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.).
The doctrine of Christian holiness is based upon the total thrust of the Scriptures (Faith, Heb.11:6But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.). It is not merely a thread or line of truth running through the Word of God: It is rather a network of teaching; which is an essential part of the fabric of the whole!
Holiness has its proof texts-although it would be more correct to call them data-evidences which support the conviction that sanctifying grace is real in human life. They should not be ignored. But even more important is the message of the whole. Behind clichés and stereotypes based on a few isolated passages is the rich and varied teaching of the Bible itself.
Before turning to the biblical presentation of holiness, it should be noted that there are two sets of English terms in the King James Version used to translate a single Hebrew word in the Old Testament and a single Greek word in the New Testament.
One of these sets of English terms comes from the Germanic roots of our language. It includes the verb “to hallow, make holy,” the noun “holiness,” and the adjective “holy.”
The other set of English terms is derived from the Latin roots of English. It includes the verb “to sanctify,” the noun “sanctification,” and the adjective “sanctified.”
Theologians sometimes make distinctions between these two sets of English words. For example, sanctification is sometimes defined as the act or process whereby a person or thing is made holy; and holiness is defined as the state or condition resulting from the act or process of sanctification. But since the two sets of words from which sanctification and holiness come are alternative translations of single terms in the original biblical languages, it is better to regard as equivalent expressions the verbs “to sanctify” and “to make holy,” the nouns “sanctification” and “holiness,” and the adjectives “sanctified” and “holy.”
The Bible is an amazingly realistic Book. It describes with great faithfulness the sorrows and sins, the struggles and hopes, the weakness and pain of the men and women who walk in its pages. Yet through it all, there shines a light of redemption and victory, the light of that “holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord” (Heb. 12:14).
In swift strokes, the early chapters of Genesis paint the picture of creation and catastrophe, holiness given and holiness lost.
Genesis 3 tells us of the source of that corruption of our moral natures for which sanctification is the divine cure. Created in the image of God, but using the freedom which was part of that image, which is freewill; but was used and mislead by another’s words, who were listened to, to seek to “be as gods”: When actually they were closer to being like God before they listened to the deceiver, who is a liar from the beginning: (Gen. 3:5For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.) they themselves Adam and Eve, brought upon their descendants the corruption that comes to a branch, which is cut off from the source of spiritual life, that is within in the natural Vine, (cf. John 15:1I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 3Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you: 4Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.).
That man created in the image of God “begat a son in his own likeness, after his image” (Gen. 5:3And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth: Which was of the side which was not cursed as Cain’s was, who were of those who were of which the author was speaking about here!) whose “every imagination [yetzer, tendency, propensity, direction] of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually” (Gen. 6:5And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.;
8:21And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more everything living, as I have done.;

The sinful condition of the human race is due to the depravity that comes from “deprivity,” that is, human nature apart from the life of the Holy Spirit. See Ac.11:15-18: Which is the ending of Ac.10:1-ffs! (Ac.10:1-48 the gift of God’s Repentance of destroying us because we were once sinners and dead in our sins! But Baptized in the Holy Spirit with gifts following and with the evidences of the Spirit with Speaking in Tongues for confirmation! When God calls He equips us for His services, with gifts of the Holy Spirit!); and the Regeneration talked about in Tit.3:5 and Ro.6:4 as well as Col.2:12 being buried in Christ Jesus; seen in Jn.3:3-8 being driven wherever the Spirit listeth us!
Yet such is the marvel of God’s love (Ro.2:4Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?); and patience that the very scene of human rebellion was the occasion for the first promise of divine redemption, of One who at the cost of His own suffering would crush the serpent’s head (Gen. 3:15And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.; Rom. 16:20And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.).
Through long centuries of preparation, the fact of God’s Holiness was revealed in a dozen different ways-by His wonderful works, by the awe men felt in His presence, by the ritual and sacrifices of Tabernacle and Temple, as well as by the prayers, aspirations, and proclamations of those men to whom God made himself known. God was seen to be, in Isaiah’s favorite phrase, “the poly One of Israel” (1:4; 5:19; 10:20; etc.). Which should read “Holy One of Israel” and another type of Holiness as seen in Is.49:26And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob (Who is Jesus Christ!) As well as Lk.1:35And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing (Should read Holy One!) which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God (Son of God according to the flesh of King David the adopted son of God (Ps.110:1The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.: Now inhabited by God’s very Essence in the flesh of the Davidic lineage, the sure mercies given to David for a promise in fulfillment of Abraham’s as well, Gen.12:3And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.)! Holiness was seen to be the very inwardness of God’s being. It is His nature, His “God-ness or as we say today His Godliness.”
Equally strong was the call for men who walked with God to be like Him in moral character (Such as Enoch, Gen.5:24And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him!). In the Old Testament, the familiar biblical term “sanctify” (was used 102 times in various forms) often has the meaning we have come to attach to “consecrate.” This is clearly true when men are told, as they frequently are, to sanctify themselves; to sanctify places, garments, altars, vessels, days, priests, and people to the Lord. The meaning is to separate or set apart as dedicated to God! For God’s own personal use: See 2 Cor.6:14Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty! Called out in Ac.2:40-ffs in the first church of Jesus Christ!
This is not the whole story, however. Present from the beginning, and growing stronger through the centuries, was the recognition that people who belong to God are not only consecrated but are to be different in a real and personal way. Ritual purity is symbolic of moral purity. The repeated command, “Ye shall be holy; for I the Lord your God am holy” (Lev. 11:44-45; 19:2; 20:26), makes no distinction between the holiness of God and the holiness of His people (From which we get the meaning of the word Saint in the Greek original language used in the New Testament. ἁγίοις hagiois Holy; Or as used in 1 Cor.1:2 Saints,), and is set in the context of moral conduct in 1 Pet. 1:13-16 and ffs. Because God changes not, Mal.3:6 and is the same yesterday, today and forever as seen in the New Testament, as well as in Heb.13:8! Because God changes not, just that simple! And Jesus did not come to destroy the Law or the prophets meaning testimonies of scriptures written by the prophets of God! Which is God’s word made flesh, Jn1:1-14! Therefore Jesus is the way the truth and the life we must lead in order to come to Him; who is the Father as seen in Jn.10:30! For they are one in person, Holy Spirit now inhabiting the flesh as shown to us in Mt.3:17 In Him I Am, well pleased! And again on the mount in Mt.17:5: In Whom I Am; well pleased; hear ye Him! The embodiment of God in the flesh as seen in 1 Tm.3:16And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh: Justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory! The glory, that only belongs to God (Is.42:8 and 48:11)! Which the glory of God is seen in the face of Jesus, 2 Cor.4:6!
It is clear certainly, that the holiness possible to man is not a property of his own nature. It is God’s gift (Ac.11:15-18 The endowment of His own Spiritual nature being regenerated in us, Tit.3:5!). But even before the finished work of Christ on the Cross, it was possible for inspired writers to describe Noah as one who “found grace in the eyes of the Lord … a just man and perfect in his generations” (Gen. 6:8-9; see also Gen.17:1 and do a personal Bible study on the word perfect, seen in the Hebrew as well as the Greek shown to us in Mt.5:48; for us to be, it is a commandment of our great God, so we too had better know what He declares it takes to meet His standards as seen here in the New Testament as well; Eph.5:26That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish!); to record God’s command to Abraham, “Walk before me, and be thou perfect” (Gen. 17:1And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.); and to speak of job as “perfect and upright” (Job 1:1There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil., 8And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?; 2:3And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.). how are we too going to prove in fact that we are His too without testing and trying us to prove us to increase our abilities and strengths: In order for us to grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ seen in 2 Pt.3:18 unless we are tried by this world we are supposed to overcome, seen in Rev.2 and chapter 3; in order to be an overcomer we have to overcome something in the world, which tries and tests our character; to actually show we have been truly born-again because we no longer live and act like the world around us, but have in fact come out from among that untoward generation; that lies in its wickedness, 1 Jn.5:19!
The sacrifices and ceremonies that make up so much of Exodus, Leviticus, and Deuteronomy had a dual purpose. They were object lessons in the need for a blood-sprinkled way into the “holiest of all,” the redemptive presence of the Lord God. And they pointed ahead to the Cross-the coming of the Lamb of God, who was to bear away the sin of the world (John 1:29The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.; see also Lk.24:46-47 that repentance and remission of sin should be preached in His name, by which there is no other name given by which we must be saved, Ac.4:12; which is told to us on Col.3:17 that all we do must be done in that name; including baptism, Ac.2:38-39 and then to obey God’s word and come out from among this untoward generation seen in verse 40! Then instructed to obey the doctrines the Apostles set forth for our admonishment for us to keep our righteousness and holiness which can only be done by obedience to every word of God which cleanses us Jn.15:3 only when we obey it and it lives in us, Jn.14:15! And few there will be that find that narrow path, Mt.7:13-14; 20:16So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen. And 22:14For many are called, but few are chosen!).
The Psalms give us one of the best measures of the piety of the Old Testament, the type of character possible to men who walk with God. There are many insights into the nature of God’s Holiness and its demands upon those who worship Him (Ps.15:1Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? 2He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart;
Ps.24:3Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? 4He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.).
The Psalmist distinguishes between his sins and transgressions-the iniquities he has done (51:1Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.,
3For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. 4Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
And 9Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.);
-and the disposition behind the deeds, the inward “sin” for which the only remedy is the purging blood and the washing that brings a clean heart (51:2Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin;
5Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. 6Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
And 10Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.).
Old Testament teaching about the godly life came to full flower in the prophets. There was Isaiah, already a prophet (1:1The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah. in comparison with 6:1In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.); who experienced the taking away and purging of his “iniquity” or “sin” (note the singular), and who pointed the way to the age of the Spirit which was to come (6:1In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. 2Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. 3And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. 4And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. 5Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. 6Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: 7And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. 8Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? The only way to become His kind of Holy; and stay that way is to be repented of all sin and have works worthy of Repentance as seen in Ac.26:19Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: 20But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance!
There was Jeremiah, who wrote of the “new covenant” (31:31Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.;
cf. Heb.10:14For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. 15Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, 16This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. 18Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. 19Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 21And having an high priest over the house of God; 22Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
; really holiness is keeping all God’s truths which are His every word to us as seen in 2 Tm.3:14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. Paul was speaking to Timothy about all scripture even the Old Testament as shown here because the New Testament was still being written when Paul spoke these words to Timothy!
:then and only then can we really be set apart from this untoward generation; set apart for His uses only, by being cleansed by His word to us, Jn.15:3! Fulfilling all scripture given to us seen clear to Heb.12:1-to 29 or you will be found in your presumptuous sin still and consumed in God’s fire, Heb.12:29!);
Ezekiel’s promise of the cleansing to come from the “new spirit” within (36:25Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 26A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
, 29I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you. Clear to 38As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the LORD. for they will be holy men after the Lord puts His Spirit in them and they will know His ways and be ashamed of their past iniquities!);
Joel’s famous prediction of Pentecost (2:28And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. 30And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. 31The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come. 32And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call! Are you called? Yes, all are called because the Lord would that none be lost! But are you one of the chosen few?
We are about to see that which was foretold in Joel, about the Moon and Sun is about to come to pass!);
Zechariah’s vision of the “fountain … opened for sin and for uncleanness” (12:10And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. Is any day now;
13:1In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.; 9And I will bring the third part through the fire (Did not God lose only one third of the Angels who left their first place or habitation seen in Jude verse 8; the people left their first love in Rev.2:4! Therefore we are all called to repentance, Rev.2:5 which is for any day when one is enlightened to the word of God in their life and have found themselves to be in error of His will for us! We must overcome the world’s teachings and return to God’s truths, this is being an overcomer seen in Rev. chapter 2 and 3, which all the children of God are to be! They are to be tried and tested and proven worthy and in the truth of His word to us, Ro.3:4!), and will refine them as silver is refined (Heb.12:1-*4*-ffs), and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God. (2 Cor.6:14-18);
Malachi’s prophecy of the Messiah’s refining fire to purify and purge and make possible “an offering in righteousness” (3:1Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me (Is.40:3; Mt.3:3!): and the LORD, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. 2But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire (Heb.12:29), and like fullers’ soap (Mt.17:2): 3And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness (Rev.7):
But the people of God will be seen as one of these; Mal.3:16Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. 17And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. 18Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not. Because they have studied His word as those seen in the Book of Acts: Chapter 17:10And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so! They compared men’s words to their actions, did they line up with the word of God? They studied the Old Testament, for that is all there was for them to read back then! The Epistles and even some of the gospel’s had not been written yet!
Because God changes not; Mal.3:6, therefore Jacob will not be consumed; our God is faithful as long as we seek only Him and all of His words for us! That is true Holiness being set apart for Him only, 2 Cor.6:14Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
And He will be our God if we allow Him to be in us as Mary allowed herself to be used of God and a holy vessel unto the Lord as seen in Lk.1:38And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her!).
While holiness in the Old Testament did not come up to the full-orbed truth of the New Testament, the ideal is clear and the promise is sure. Its fulfillment in Christ and the age of the Holy Spirit (Who is God, Jn.4:24 told to us by Jesus Himself!), is the apex of the new covenant revelation to us! As well as it being mandatory to be baptized in the burial to sin and self in the water of regeneration of being called to sin no more, Jn.8:11 and Jn.5:14 or a worse thing will come upon you! That is exactly what the water of remission of sins is all about; when something goes into remission it stops what it was doing before! That is what repentance is all about too, to turn and go a new direction away from sin and the lusts of the flesh which is now death to self in the burial in a watery grave in Jesus’ name because whatever we ask for we will receive it in His name! Therefore, there is no salvation in any other name given; by which we MUST be saved Ac.4:12; Means only one thing; we must be baptized in Jesus’ name (As the Apostles have shown us, Ac.2:38-39!) or we have not been baptized correctly, and therefore no salvation was given, because the blood of the sacrifice was not placed on the soul being saved, because salvation was not asked for in His name by which the blood is applied, Jn.14:14 and Col.3:17, all that we wish and pray for Him to do for us, has got to be done in His name, that is why we must seal every prayer in the name of Jesus Christ for our prayers to be answered, seen in Jn.14:14If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it! This is why they did it like they did as seen in Ac.2:38-39 and stayed in the doctrines of the Apostles from then on seen in scriptures: Ac.2:40And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. 41Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. 42And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. 44And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. 46And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 47Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
That is the reason they added unto them daily because they stayed in the doctrines of the Apostles who had the only keys to loosen and to bind in heaven on earth!
1 Cor.11:1Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. 2Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you. See also Ro.12:1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. It doesn’t mater what lines up with men even men of God or even your local priests; what matters is does it line up with the teachings of God’s word to us given in our instruction book to heaven; called this Holy Bible of ours!
The Gospels present God’s purpose (Or His plan for us and how we are to live, Jn.14:6!) for His people in two ways: in their record of the Life that must forever be the ideal for Christian aspiration, and in the teachings of Jesus and the inspired men who recorded His words.
Jesus spoke of the blessedness of the pure in heart (Matt.5:8). He called the children of God to perfection of love (Matt.5:43-48; 22:35-40; Mark 12:29-31; Luke 6:40; Mk.8:34-38 When we abide in Jesus’ ways, Jn.14:6!). He taught that the source of evil is the depravity of a carnal heart (Mark 7:21-23 actually it is plain disobedience to His word; for obedience to His word is more worthy of all the sacrifices that can be offered up and only the prayer of the righteous are not an abomination to Him as seen in Prov.15:8 and Prov.28:9! This too was explained in Mk.12:33And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.34And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God, (For Jesus is the entrance to the Kingdom of God, Jn.14:6; Jesus is the gateway to Heaven seen in Jn.10:1-ffs!)! And no man after that durst ask him any question. Because you see Jesus is the Kingdom of God as clearly shown in scripture as we look to Mt.4:17; Mt.12:28 and Lk.11:20, when we are in the presence of Jesus we are in the presence of the Kingdom of God and we must come back to Him from which our Spirit originated as seen in Ecc.12:7! In Spirit and in Truth to as a front or a form of godliness which has no power as these…); in contrast with the emphasis on the outward or cultic holiness of the scribes and Pharisees. Which have a form of Godliness but lack the power to live an overcoming life style 2 Tm.3:5-7! From these we are to withdraw ourselves away from all of these and be not influenced by their teachings, which are of the world’s doctrines; of the foolishness of the worldly wise!
Christ promised the Holy Spirit as rivers of living water to those who believed (John 7:38-39), the Father’s Gift to those of His children who ask (Luke 11:13). He spoke of “another Comforter” to be given to those who love Him and keep His commandments, a Bestowment whom “the world cannot receive” (John 14:15-18).
Jesus prayed for His own (John 17:9) and for those who would believe on Him through their word (17:20) that God would “sanctify them” (17:17)-so that His joy might be fulfilled in them (17:13); that they might be kept from the evil (17:15); that they might be made perfect in one (17:21, 23); that the world might believe (17:21, 23); and that they might be with Him at last and behold His glory (17:24).
Our Lord’s parting command was to tarry in the city of Jerusalem (Luke 24:49) until baptized with the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:5) — a baptism which follows the water baptism that seals (2 Cor.1:22!) repentance (Matt.4:17; 3:11-12; Luke 3:16-17; John 1:33; Ac.2:38-40; 11:15-16.) and which empowers a consistent life and witness (Ac.1:8).
The Book of Acts records the fulfillment of the promise and prayer of Jesus concerning the Holy Spirit. While the Jerusalem Pentecost of Acts 2 had an unrepeatable (As in it is still going on!); a historical side to it as the beginning of the long-awaited “age of the Spirit,” its deeper personal meaning is attested by the Samaritan Pentecost of Acts 8, the Caesarean or Gentile Pentecost of Acts 10, and the Ephesian Pentecost of Acts 19 (Even further still in 1900’s at Stone’s Folly in Topeka Kansas, Jan.1, 1901, which later spread to Los Angeles to an old butcher shop turned church on Azusa St. The latter-day pouring out that is still spreading around the world!).
Few are disposed to dispute the spiritual power that comes with the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Its cleansing aspect has not seemed as apparent, despite the fact that one of the meanings of the Greek term for baptism is itself “cleansing.” (See Jn.15:3 His word sanctifies us by His cleansing us, as long as we abide in His word to us: Also Jn.17:17-ffs!)
The matter is settled beyond reasonable doubt, however, in Acts 15:8-9 (Ac.11:15-18). This is Peter’s testimony as to what happened to Cornelius and the people of his household: “And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; and put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.” (Through the hearing of the words of God given to them by Jesus’ Anointed and Ordained ones, who have been filled with His own Spirit in them, Jn.14:18; that they maybe one as we are one, Jn.17:21!)
Although there had been speaking in other languages in Caesarea as in Jerusalem (Ac.10:46), Peter did not mention this at all. When he was concerned to show the identity of the Gentile Pentecost with what happened in Jerusalem, the only “sign” he appealed to was the fact that God purified by faith the hearts of those upon whom the Holy Spirit came: with the same sign that they all would know as at the beginning: 15And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. 16Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. 17Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God? What did happen at the beginning on the Day of Pentecost? Look to Ac.2:1And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. This is what was prophesied to happen at the Baptism of fire; Mt.3:11I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: And still further prophesied again at eh beginning of Acts, Ac.1:1The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, 2Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: 3To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: 4And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
5For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. This is the fulfillment of Jn.3:3-8 so that the Spirit can then blow them where He listeth them to go! How are they to be blown without His Spirit in them leading them into all Truths, which is the Spirit of Grace and Truth, Jn.1:17; which is to have a testimony of Jesus Christ in them, Rev.19:10! This was shown to have happened to Paul’s baptizing John the Baptist’s disciples over again in the only name by which salvation is obtained in (Ac.19:1-7 and they all spoke in tongues as the Spirit gave them the utterance and did prophesied; verse 6 by the power of Jesus’ name; Jn.14:14!), which is Jesus Christ’s name, Ac.4:12; Col.3:17; No other way will bring salvation, because all scripture is for that purpose to bring salvation and reconciliation to God’s Children, 2 Cor.5:19-21 which is only done in Jesus’ name, Jn.5:39Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. Our only salvation comes when we abide in His every word, not man’s thinking of what he thinks is ok; but what did the Lord and His Anointed and Ordained Apostles say to do? This is what the First Church of Jesus Christ did to receive salvation as shown here in scripture;
The One and Only True Plan of Salvation!
Ac.2:37Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call! 40And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. 41Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. 42And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
The Epistles of the New Testament, Pauline and General, give full expression to the truth of Christian holiness (Being set apart a peculiar people, who are Holy as their Lord is Holy and set apart from the world!). It must be remembered that the letters of the New Testament are all addressed to Christians. They were written from within the context of faith, and directed to those who had been converted and it had been confirmed in them to have had the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on them by confirmation as seen in 1 Cor.1:1Paul called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother, 2Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and our’s: 3Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 4I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; 5That in everything ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;
6Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: 7So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: 8Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. When God puts His Spirit in you it comes with gifts following; He always equips those who He confirms to be His, with His Supernatural Power in His Children who will now be called by His name because they now have Him living on the inside of them so that they too can lead an overcoming life style, that is required of His Children, seen in Rev.2: and chapter 3!
For this reason, there is no effort on the part of the writers to identify sanctification as a work of grace following conversion or the new birth. The readers are assumed already to have passed from death to life. Whatever is urged upon them must, therefore, be understood as part of what follows the initial experience of salvation (They have a hope of Salvation; it is all contingent on if they adhere to the word of God which cleanses them, Jn.15:3! Just as Paul taught we have a hope of salvation and we run our race to win the prize, or we too will fall back into perdition seen in Heb.12:1-29 and 2 Pt.2:1But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
4For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; 5And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; 7And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: 8(For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
9The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: 10But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. 11Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord. 12But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption; 13And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
14Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: 15Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; 16But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man’s voice forbad the madness of the prophet. 17These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. 18For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. 19While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. 20For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
21For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them! 22But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire!).
God’s redemptive work in its totality is the theme of the New Testament letters. It is expressed in many ways:
a. Christians must experience in reality what is implied in baptism and provided by the Cross (Rom. 6:1-*4*-7:6).
b. Both the law and human willpower are futile in dealing with inner sin (Rom. 7:7-25).
c. Only the Spirit of life can make the believer free from the fleshly or carnal mind (Rom. 8:1-*9*-13).
d. The very mercies of God call for His people to make of themselves living sacrifices (Rom. 12:1-2).
e. Spiritual infancy and carnal living rend the body of Christ (1 Cor. 3:1-4).
f. More excellent than spiritual gifts is the way of divine love (1 Cor. 12:31-13:1-13).
g. The promises of God call us to cleansing from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God (2 Cor.7:1; See also 1 Cor.11:1-2-ffs!).
h. The struggle between “flesh” and “Spirit” goes on until the “flesh” is crucified with its affections and lusts (Gal. 5:17-24; Gal.6:7Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap! Eph.5:27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish! Jn.8:11 and Jn.5:14!).
i. Those chosen to be holy and without blame before God in love must put off “the old man … corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,” and put on “the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness” (Eph. 1:4; 4:22-24).
j. Christ loved the Church and gave himself to “sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word; by which the Holy Spirit purchased us with His own blood the very blood of God, Jn.4:24 God is that Spirit and that is the Truth we must worship Him in! Ac.20:28Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood!” that it “should be holy and without blemish” (Eph. 5:25-27).
k. There is no “perfection of glory” in this life (Mt.5:48 there had better be or you only deceive yourself! When God lives in you all things then become possible who have been sanctified in His Blood, because His blood and His word living in you purifies you and cleanses you by His word, Jn.15:3; Mt.19:26!) (Phil. 3:12-14), but there is a “perfection of grace” (3:15Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in anything ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. 16Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. 17Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. That we walk as Jesus Christ walked on this earth, 1 Jn.2:1-6 and then the warnings come; for all the deceivers after 2 Jn.1-6 then start the warnings seen in verses 7-11!).
l. Putting off the old man and putting on the new man must lead to life on a new and higher ethical plane (Col. 3:1-13; 1 Thes.4:1Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more. 2For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus. 3For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: 4That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; 5Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God: 6That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. 7For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness! Phil.4: 4Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. 5Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand! 6Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you!).
m. God’s will and call are to holiness, entire sanctification (I Thess. 4:3, 7-8; 5:23-24).
n. Grace teaches us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, and to live holy lives in this present world, looking for the coming of the God-man (Which is our God; 1 Tm.3:16And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory! Who gave himself both to “redeem us from all iniquity,” and to purify unto himself a people peculiarly His own, “zealous of good works” (Titus 2:11-14; See also Ac.26:19-20!).
- The strong, practical emphasis of the letter to the Hebrews is the need for converts to “go on”:
- to a sanctifying union with the Captain of their salvation (2:10-11)
- into the “rest of faith” (3:12-4:11)
- to become teachers of others (5:11-14) • unto “perfection” (6:1-3)
- to the reality of Christ’s sprinkled blood (9:13-14) • into the holiest of all (10:19-22)
- following “holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord” (12:14-17)
- with Christ without the camp where He suffered to sanctify the people of God with His own blood (13:12-14). The alternative to going on is the chilling possibility of going “back unto perdition” (10:39).
p. The double-minded man, unstable in all his ways, is directed to purify his heart (Jms. 1:8; 4:8).
q. God’s obedient children are to be “holy, as he . . . is holy” in every area of their lives (1 Pet. 1:14-16).
r. By the promises of God, we become partakers of His nature, and thus escape the corruption in the world through lust (2 Pet. 1:4).
s. If we walk in the light of God instead of the darkness of sin, we have fellowship with Him, and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all sin. To deny the need for such cleansing is to deceive ourselves (1 John 1:7-8).
t. In the perfection of love, there is boldness in the Day of Judgment (I John 4:17-18).
Putting all this together, one can hardly escape the almost boundless optimism of the New Testament writers as they reflect the possibilities of grace. They are fully aware of the tensions involved in living godly lives in this present world in bodies that still await the full redemption of the sons of God. They know that it is through tribulation we enter the Kingdom (Jn.16:33). Yet they thrill to the reality of the resurrection life even in the stresses, partialities, and incompleteness of the present age.
One of the crucial issues in discussions of the “higher life” portrayed in the New Testament is always the nature and extent of deliverance from inner sin, the old nature. “Eradication” is a term sure to be questioned. We are told that it is not a biblical term—and indeed it is not, exactly in that form—although the idea comes through rather clearly in Heb.12:14-15; Jn.8:11 to go and sin no more is a commandment from Jesus Christ and is for all of us not just the adulteress; even the cripple who Jesus made whole in Jn.5:14; it is up to that man to remain in a sin free state, or a worse thing will come upon him on the Day of Judgment!
But is it necessary to contend for a term If anyone objects to “eradication” —and there are some overtones to the word that say more than we mean—then why not just settle for biblical language and talk about crucifixion, destruction, mortification, putting to death, putting off, purging, cleansing, purifying, or making clean Really, it all comes out at the same place. Gal.5:16This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
If we interpret Christian holiness biblically, we shall not concern ourselves with a single group of words—”holy,” “holiness,” “sanctify,” “sanctification.” We shall also stress the baptism with or fullness of the Holy Spirit; the risen or resurrected life with Christ; the righteousness of the law fulfilled in us; circumcision of the heart; salvation to the uttermost—or in Luther’s sparkling phrase, “through and through”; the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ; purity of heart and power for witnessing; and so on and on.
We shall turn to other interpretations of Christian holiness. But all of them must finally rest back upon the teachings of the Holy Bible with its clarion call “not unto uncleanness, but unto holiness” (1 Thess. 4:7).
Without Holiness and Righteousness no man will enter into God’s Kingdom!
The Apostle John said only those who are the children of God will walk as Jesus walked in His life (1 Jn.2:6) which agrees with Jn.14:6Jesus saith unto him, I AM the way, (I Am) the truth, and (I AM) the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by ME! Because Jesus is the manifestation of God the Father in the flesh seen in scripture; 1 Tm.3:16And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit (1 Cor.6:11 Justification by God’s Word in Action; Results in Faith being Established in the Believer’s Pure Heart!); (Because God is the Holy Spirit, Jn.4:24! And we were purchased with His blood; Ac.20:28 just as Thomas found out in Jn.20:28, “My LORD and my GOD!!!”), seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Therefore when you have seen Jesus you know the Father as well, Jn.12:45; 14:7, and have seen Him; because they are one in the same; Jn.10:30I and my Father are one!
Who is our God with us; Mt.1:23 our Emmanuel! This is to know the Father in Truth and in His Spirit (Jn.4:24); which is His words to us (Jn.1:1-18); (Jn.15:3 which cleanses us only if we use them in our lives!); which is eternal life for us (Jn.6:63 and 68Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.), only when we abide in Him only (This is being separated from the world with the living words of God in our PURE HEARTS (2 Tm.2:19-22) and minds; then and only then can we abide in Him and His words abide in us (2 cor.6:14-18); and we are one with Him, because His words sanctifies us and His Spirit which is His words and will for us is our justifier and when we are in His will seen in Mt.12:46-50 we are His children and will be His Sons as seen in Jn.8:47 who hear only God’s word; which the world cannot receive because they have not been regenerated in the water in Jesus’ name; by the only name by which all salvation can come, seen in Ac.4:12; because all power and the blood of the sacrifice is attached to the name of Jesus Christ, Mt.28:18 and Jn.14:14; which is the blood of God who is the Holy Spirit which sanctifies us with His Repentances for us, Ac.11:15-18 with Himself in us bring us back into relationship that Adam had with God in the beginning; this is the only Holiness that there will ever be, that brings justification, in the name of God, (Jn.5:43) which is Jesus’ own name which means Salvation; which agrees with the Old Testament as well, as we look to Is.49:26And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob (Is.9:6!)!
Jn.14:7If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him!
Hence forth we will not walk as the world does; we will walk as the words of our Lord God dictate for us (1 Jn.2:6) in our lives we now live not for ourselves but for Him! We died to the flesh of our own sinful nature and to self in the water of baptism, being buried in Christ Jesus, the New Testament covenant seen in Ro.6:4 (and Col.2:12-14 ffs.) so that we too like Christ was raised from the dead we too who were by all rights dead in our own sins; now being made alive with a clean conscience seen in 3 Pt.3:21The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: But only the righteous of the Lord God will barely escape the wrath to come seen again in Peter’s writings; 1 Pt.4:17For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 18And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear (We all know the answer to that question don’t we?)? 19Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing (In obedience to His every word, for obedience is worth more than all the sacrifices in the whole world from the beginning of time, 1 Sam.15:22And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices (Continual Repentances!), as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams! Also seen in Mk.12:33And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices: 34And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. Because Jesus is the gate to the Kingdom of God seen in Jn.10:1-ffs and in these as well Mt.4:17 and Mt.12:28 and lastly in Lk.11:20 because Jesus is the finger of God; 20But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you!), as unto a faithful Creator!
The world was made by Jesus seen in Jn.1:1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God! 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. 4In him was life; and the life was the light of men (Jn.8:12 see Gen.1:3 and then to Jn.12:35-50 Jesus is the LIGHT of the Universe, which is the Spirit of LIFE to all mankind and without His LIGHT we have no spirit in us or life! That which is in darkness has no life in it: Darkness if void of life and of order and is only continually evil!). 5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. Jesus is the light of the world seen in Jn.8:12 and also in Gen.1:3! Which is the Word of God made flesh; Jn1:14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,): (On the Glory of God see Is.42:8 and 48:11 and 2 Cor.4:6 and 1 Cor.2:8Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory!) full of grace and truth Jn.1:17For the law was given by Moses, but grace (Word of God (Ac.20:24 is the gospel which is preached to us; and is seen also in verse 32 of the same chapter!) is to know His will for us and then we will have His favour when we are found in compliance to His word which is His will for us; this is the only way we can be found in His Truths; only if we are living in his word for us!) and truth (Only God’s word is Truth because God cannot lie, Tit.1:2In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; and Heb.6:18That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: 19Which hope we have as an anchor of the (Our own souls!) soul:), came by Jesus Christ (Ecc.12:7Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.). Whether we want to or not we will all stand before His judgment seat come the day of the Lord, Phil.2:10! Which is this seen in Ro.2:1Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. 2But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. 3And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? 4Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? 5But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; 6Who will render to every man according to his deeds: 7To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: 8But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11For there is no respect of persons with God.
If people would judge themselves according to the word of God they would convict themselves and turn to the only word that is of Truth, which is out of the mouth of God seen in Mt.4:4But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God! And again of Lk.4:4And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. So shall His children who will be Holy because of the separation from the words of this world to the very word of God! 1 Cor.11:31For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. If we are to judge ourselves against His word to see if we eat or drink of the covenant supper seen in these verses to unrighteousness of walking in the ways of the world which lies in wickedness seen in 1 Jn.5:19 then we have to be apart from this world because we cannot drink of the cup of this world and the cup of God are we greater than He? 1 Cor.10:21Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils. 22Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he? If you try this you are a hypocrite in the eyes of God and are eating and drinking of the last supper covenant in unrighteousness and that is why a lot of you are sick; 1 Cor.11:28But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. It takes all scripture living inside you before you call yourself a child of God; 2 Tm.3:16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
These were commandments handed down to Timothy before and as the New testament was being written here before Timothy’s eyes seen in these verses as Paul taught Timothy how to conduct the second generation church of God in Jesus Christ! Paul started back in verse 14; 14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. That the Old Testament was to be adhered to just as the words Paul was teaching Timothy here! Jesus said if we will obey His words then we will obey His Apostles words given to us by His own Holy Spirit in them seen in Jn.14:18 and Jn.15:20!
Holiness and Righteousness is only seen in those who walk as Jesus did, Jn.14:6 and 1 Jn.2:6He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. If we don’t, we will be found to be a liar and a hypocrite as shown in these very verses in 1 Jn.2:1My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 3And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. 7Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. 8Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth. 9He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. 10He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. If we allow our children to go off to war or even take another job in the military we are seen and have been found to be abiding in the worlds systems; and not our God’s, who said repay no evil with an evil (Mt.5:38-47 that is how we can be perfect, because God is LOVE!); you are thus found to be a liar and are unworthy of the Lord’s supper by proxy of allowing someone else to stumble off the narrow path (Jms.5:19-20) that leads to Heaven and few there will be that find it; because they are disobedient to God’s words!
Ro.3:4God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. If one’s life doesn’t line up with the word of God who is at fault here? It is man’s fault because we are without excuses in the scriptures; we have all been given ample warning; such as this one; Phil.2:12Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Do you see anyone today in the fear of God, let alone trembling? At least the demons do that; Jms.2:19Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. If they know there is but one God why do they preach and teach of three persons being God; the demons know who to fear, and they tremble at the name of Jesus because every knee will bow to Him alone! When we see Jesus we see God, Jn.12:45! Unless we know that we cannot be in Holiness living in a false relationship that is of man’s philosophies that are warned about here; Col.2:1For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh; 2That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; 3In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. 4And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words. 5For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ. 6As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. 8Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 11In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
12Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead!
If we weren’t baptized correctly we have not the blood of the sacrifice on our souls because we used man’s rituals instead of the Apostles Ordained Sacred Ordinances, which bind in Heaven and on Earth and loosen in Heaven and on Earth because only they had the keys of Heaven given to them by Jesus Himself! If any man doesn’t do what they said that man will be accursed as shown to us in Deu.4:2 and 12:32 as well as Gal.1:8-9 and again in Rev.22:18-19! That is the reason the First Century Church Baptized all their members in Jesus’ name only because there is none other name given by which we all MUST be saved, Ac.4:12 and Lk.24:47And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem! This is exactly what Peter did on the Day of Pentecost; seen in Ac.2:38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call. 40And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
If we didn’t do the same as these then we do not belong to the only church going to heaven; the church of Pentecost, who have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit with speaking in tongues and with signs following so that we too can walk as Jesus walked doing greater things than He did seen in scripture, Jn.14:12Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. 15If ye love me, keep my commandments.
How can we in all righteousness say we are a child of God and be seen in His righteousness when we have not obeyed His every word, He told us to do (Lk.6:46)? We will be found to be a liar and only deceiving our own selves worshipping a god of our own vain imaginations! That is not worshipping in Spirit and in His Truths, Jn.4:24 without the Spirit of God being in you seen in Jn.3:3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God! 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit (Jn.1:12-13). 7Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
How are you going to be blown wherever the Spirit listeth us when we do not have His Spirit in us with His power to lead an overcoming life style without His Repentance that we need? Ac.11:15And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning (Ac.2:1-4). 16Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. 17Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God (What did they do that was like them? The spoke in tongues as the Spirit gave them the utterances seen in Ac.10:44-48!)? 18When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life! How did this happen? The scriptures show us how this happened in Cornelius’ house in Ac.10:44While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. 45And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. 46For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God! Then answered Peter, 47Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? 48And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord: Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
If you have not had this experience you are not in the First Church of Jesus Christ; just that simple and you will not enter into His Kingdom! Mt.7:13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at: 14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it (Jn.10:1-ffs there is only one shepherd meaning only one gate we must enter and exit out of!). Only those who follow Jesus and His teachings (Have fellowship with Him, He will not enter into an unclean vessel!) and those of His Ordained Apostles will be able to enter into the straight gate which is Jesus Christ seen in Jn.10:1-ffs! We will know all of these who are of Jesus Christ because we will see their fruits or works!
Works don’t save anyone but you cannot have good works unless they are the works of the Holy Spirit leading you into all His Truths which are of Jesus Christ; Jn.15:26But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: 27And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning. This is how we will know we have been with Jesus from the beginning because Jesus knows who will be His from the beginning and only those who come down from heaven can then ascend up to heaven as seen in Jn.3:13And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. Because we have been with Him from the beginning, even Enoch as well as Elijah which came again as John the Baptist: Mt.17:12But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. 13Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist: Seen originally in Is.40:3The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Showing God’s Prophecy “His Mold to History” being fulfilled in John the Baptist the last Old Testament Prophet of God: The last one seen for over 430 years since we had one of God’s prophets showing us in the New Testament; who God was in our Generation in the age of Grace; which is now about to fade away in the Day of the Lord’s redemption or rejection!
It is up to us which it will be, the door to salvation is about to shut forevermore! All those who are not of Holiness and Righteousness that is of our Great God in us as shown here in scripture, 2 Cor.5:17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him!
We cannot be the righteousness of God in Jesus unless we do all that He has commanded us to do that is in His every word to us (Lk.6:46And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?); such as these; 2 Cor.6:14Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15and what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16and what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty!
This will never happen unless we become His chosen vessels with a pure heart; then and only then will he come and abide in us when we have enough faith to abide in Him and His every word to us; this is knowing the cost of discipleship seen here in Jn.8:31Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Just as seen here in the same chapter Jn.8:51Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death!
Have we kept His saying? Or have we continued along in our sin and listened to men who have never had the true Holy Ghost experience with speaking in tongues given to us for exactly this reason so that we would know the truth when we heard it being spoken in a heavenly language from above! Mal.3:6 God changes not and all gifts which come down from the Father above are without recompence seen in Jms.1:16Do not err, my beloved brethren. 17Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights (Jn.12:35-50), with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning (Jn.8:12). How long will mankind remain in darkness; Jn.1:1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. 4In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. Seen here also Jn.14:16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; 17Even the Spirit of truth (Jn.1:17); whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you! It is Jesus’ own Spirit living inside of you because you actually know Him for who He is, Mt.11:27All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him! Jesus is who you need to pray to in order to receive His Spirit in you; you must ask for it: (Lk.11:14)!
The only Holiness and Righteousness we can ever claim as our own comes directly from God living in you which is His word and only then can we be taught of God seen in Jer.31:31Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Because His Spirit will be living in you leading you into all His Truths!
There is a difference that can be seen, in the Children of God!
Holiness and Righteousness of God in His Children will not look like the children of the world around them! There is a distinct difference with them who want to please God with their lives and everything about their lives, which belong to Him only, who will bless His own with eternal life with Him in the end! These are the few Mt.7:14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it! Mt.20:16So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen! Mt.22:14For many are called, but few are chosen! (Three times in the same book, three is the number of completion, we have been warned completely!) The words of men will pass away but the words of God are eternal; Mt.24:35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. His every word will accomplish that which it was intended to accomplish seen in Is.55:11So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
When we follow His every word to us that are either a life in Heaven clause to us; or we will find ourselves listening to men and our own words that will lead us directly to Hell! Because our natural ways are not His was; Is.55:6Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Only when we seek His ways can our ways line up with His and we will then be found in His will where only the Children of God will be found! All others will look and be as the world around them; but the children of God’s women will look like they did in the First Church of Jesus Christ who were warned by the Apostles not to cut their hair because it is their Glory from God for them; it is their covering (It doesn’t mean cut it and them wear something over it! The woman’s hair is her actual covering!); 1 Cor.1Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ (Commandment time here people!). 2Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you (Jn.15:20!)! 3But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. 4Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. 5But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. 6For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn (Dan.12:2 on a SHAME!) or shaven, let her be covered (This means let her hair grow naturally and take care of it, because you are the Temple of the Lord God! 1 Cor.6:19-20!). 7For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man (And should be submissive to God as well as her husband!). 8For the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man. 9Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. 10For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels. 11Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord. 12For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God. 13Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered? 14Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? 15But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. (God changes not! His word and His idea of women who are to be humble unto their own husbands will also are humble unto the word of God and the word of His Apostles! Jn.15:20!)
16But if any man seem to be contentious (1 Sam.15:22-23, shows you what contentious people look like, who will not be found in heaven because they disobeyed God’s word to them! They too will have no such custom! Neither will their church of God!), we have no such custom, neither the churches of God. These people who are of the other church will be contentious and have no such customs and will in fact teach and preach another gospel that Paul warned us about, seen in Gal.1:8-9, who are then being cursed, who teach and preach not the whole Truth seen in Deu.4:2 and 12:32 and Mt.4:4 and Gal.1:8-9 and finally by the Apostle John in Rev.22:18-19 told to write these word s by Jesus Himself to John!
God’s Children are not like the world’s children!
They will be modest and chase women of Godliness which is in fact Holiness and Righteousness which makes up Godliness: (Lev.22:31Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD. 32Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the LORD which hallow you! We were grafted into that same Vine!): Which must be observed not only by women but men too; (Deu.22:5The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination (detestable, means you will have no such laws or rules governing you; you are un-testable, unruly, contentious, in a state of rebellion, which is as bad as witchcraft and idolatry, 1 Sam.15:22-23! Because you did not hollow the word of God given to you! Therefore you cannot be Holy or Hollowed by God!), unto the LORD thy God!)! Now if women’s hair is a Godliness issue then also the ordinances which governs men’s apparel which women are never to wear must be observed in men as well as the women or it is confusion which is an abomination to God which changes not, Mal.3:6 and Heb.13:8! His ordinances carried over from the Old Testament clear into the New Testament as well with the hair and the clothing issues; these are what we call holiness issues! Without Holiness no man will enter and stay in God’s presence without His robes of Holiness seen in the story of the wedding feast; one man did not put on his robes that were given to him to wear and we see what happened to him; he was bound hand and foot and cast out; Mt.22:12And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. 13Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away; and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 14For many are called, but few are chosen!
Only the prayer of the righteous will be heard and answered in an appropriate way; Prov.15:8The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight. As well as Prov.28:9He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination. When we understand that every word in this Holy Bible is the word of God and is our commandment and our law, then we to must observe His every word to us; it is our righteousness in Him! 2 Tm.3:16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. We cannot have good works and be found perfect unless we abide in Him and His word abides in us; only then can we be found to walk before Him and be perfect as His is perfect; seen in His word to us, Mt.5:48 as well as Gen.17:1 because God changes not! It will never matter what any man says is ok or right in the eyes of God; unless it lines up perfectly with what our great God told us to do in His word to us, called this Holy Bible; that is the reason it is called Holy: Because it is His word to us, Ro.3:4God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged! Our lives better line up with His word to us; and our understanding of His word better be right when we are judged by Him who knows what He was telling us: It is up to us to rightly divide the word f God, 2 Tm.2:15 and we had better work out our own Salvation that is given to us by His word, Phil.2:12 because we will stand before our Great God; His people will be judged first at the catching away, 1 Pt.4:17For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 18And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 19Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. The only way to be a righteous person is to be in covenant relationship with Jesus and in compliance to His every word to us: Mt.5:17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. This world will end this way seen in Mt.24:35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. Mt.4:4But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God! And neither will we; Jesus is the bred of life and if we eat not of His flesh which is the word of God seen in Jn.1:1-14: we will not live with Him unless we abide in Him and His word abides in us, which is our Holiness and our Righteousness which will allow us to be in His presence without perishing because we must be a minister that is a flame of fire, Ps.104:4 and Heb.1:7 because our God is a consuming fire, Heb.12:29; so you had better have gotten the baptism that comes with fire or you too will lukewarm and spewed out of His mouth!
We cannot be Holy or Righteous unless we are abiding in His word to us! Just as a woman will humble herself to her husband and the word of God in her life and the Holy Spirit will speak to her consciousness and will reveal to her the ways of the Lord and what it means to be a chase bride of Jesus Christ, with shamefacedness and a purity of being one in the word of God according to His heart and hers being one in the same in the fulness of Godliness! With this said it also stands the same with all men of God who are to be called the Sons of God who abide in Him (Jn.8:47 for only a true Son of God will hear His words!) and He in them, because they are one in the same in Word and in Deed we will be seen doing everything in Jesus’ own name, (Col.3:17)! His word to us is our life (Jn.6:63 & 68 if you don’t know these verses by heart you should ; if not go look them up, or they are just numbers to you! These numbers and books are your health to you and your eternal life with God or you will perish and forever be in Hell and fuel for the fire, and food for the worm that dieth not!) to us because it is the eternal word of God and He changes not! From the Old Testament to the New we have one God and one rule of law which is all of His words to us, 2 Tm.3:16-17, say ALL SCRIPTURE is for us; to do what for us? 2 Tm.3:16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. Without it living in us we cannot meet this requirement seen here in Mt.5:48Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. The same as it was in the Old Testament as well; Gen.17:1And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect! Before Abraham was Noah; Gen.6:8But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. 9These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. All Because Noah walked with God! The secret to being perfect; we must walk with God in our hearts and He must always be before our faces and always on our minds: we will not do one thing unless we ask ourselves; is this what God would have me do; if I do this in my life will I still be in the will of God? These questions and those just like them should always be thought of before we do anything in this lifetime of ours! That is the reason why so many of us say I will have to pray on it before I tell you what I’m going to do!
Women’s Hair is a Holiness Issue
Woman’s hair is her grown of glory from God to her (1 Cor.11:1-15 ffs!); why would she ever want to cut her glory! What if she got to heaven and they wouldn’t let her in because she didn’t have her glory with her on her head? In the same regards a man’s beard it his manliness because he is made in the image of his God; his distinction between a woman and a man is his beard; which can be seen, right off from afar! When one sees a man who has a beard from a distance they know it is a man they are looking at, who is made in the image of God! There was even a war started over cutting off the beards of the servants of King David’s Court: 1 Chor.19:1Now it came to pass after this, that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon died, and his son reigned in his stead.
2And David said, I will shew kindness unto Hanun the son of Nahash, because his father shewed kindness to me. And David sent messengers to comfort him concerning his father. So the servants of David came into the land of the children of Ammon to Hanun, to comfort him. 3But the princes of the children of Ammon said to Hanun, Thinkest thou that David doth honour thy father, that he hath sent comforters unto thee? are not his servants come unto thee for to search, and to overthrow, and to spy out the land? 4Wherefore Hanun took David’s servants, and shaved them, and cut off their garments in the midst hard by their buttocks, and sent them away. 5Then there went certain, and told David how the men were served. And he sent to meet them: for the men were greatly ashamed. And the king said, Tarry at Jericho until your beards be grown, and then return!
6And when the children of Ammon saw that they had made themselves odious to David, Hanun and the children of Ammon sent a thousand talents of silver to hire them chariots and horsemen out of Mesopotamia, and out of Syriamaachah, and out of Zobah. 7So they hired thirty and two thousand chariots, and the king of Maachah and his people; who came and pitched before Medeba. And the children of Ammon gathered themselves together from their cities, and came to battle. 8And when David heard of it, he sent Joab, and all the host of the mighty men. 9And the children of Ammon came out, and put the battle in array before the gate of the city: and the kings that were come were by themselves in the field. 10Now when Joab saw that the battle was set against him before and behind, he chose out of all the choice of Israel, and put them in array against the Syrians. 11And the rest of the people he delivered unto the hand of Abishai his brother, and they set themselves in array against the children of Ammon.
12And he said, If the Syrians be too strong for me, then thou shalt help me: but if the children of Ammon be too strong for thee, then I will help thee. 13Be of good courage, and let us behave ourselves valiantly for our people, and for the cities of our God: and let the LORD do that which is good in his sight! (The Lord honored this because David was a Hollowed man in the eyes of God who Hollowed him because David was perfect in the eyes of His LORD GOD 2 Sam.22:33!)
14So Joab and the people that were with him drew nigh before the Syrians unto the battle; and they fled before him. 15And when the children of Ammon saw that the Syrians were fled, they likewise fled before Abishai his brother, and entered into the city. Then Joab came to Jerusalem. 16And when the Syrians saw that they were put to the worse before Israel, they sent messengers, and drew forth the Syrians that were beyond the river: and Shophach the captain of the host of Hadarezer went before them. 17And it was told David; and he gathered all Israel, and passed over Jordan, and came upon them, and set the battle in array against them. So when David had put the battle in array against the Syrians, they fought with him. 18But the Syrians fled before Israel; and David slew of the Syrians seven thousand men which fought in chariots, and forty thousand footmen, and killed Shophach the captain of the host (Which God used to increase David’s land’s and authority al because some kid cut off David’s messengers beard off and caused then to be shamed so without a doubt if a man has not a beard he is a shame in the eyes of his LORD GOG who gave him the ability to grow a beard for a reason, because it is his glory just as a woman’s hair is her glory to her a man’s beard is his glory given to him by his God!)!
19And when the servants of Hadarezer saw that they were put to the worse before Israel, they made peace with David, and became his servants: neither would the Syrians help the children of Ammon anymore.
What matters is; How Does God See It?
Amos3:3Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
All of this could have been avoided if the young king would have honored King David’s men who sent good tiding to them in the first place! The young king sought the council of men who needed to be counseled instead of being councilors! Just as this world’s vain men who teach the word of God is all allegorical; instead of literal; and that it should be fulfilled in one’s life not only spiritually but many things are to be done in word and indeed, Col.3:17 Just exactly as Jesus and the Apostles instructed us to carry their words out in our lives so that we can perfect, in His eyes who changes not and never will, Heb.13:8Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever. We cannot produce His fruits unless we abide in Him and His word to us as seen in Jn.15:1I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 3Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing! 6If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned!
7If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples (That is how we are to become His Disciples and we know Him and what he wants us to do; so that we know what to pray for so that we are praying in His will for us so He will answer our prayers!)! 9As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 10If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love! 11These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. 12This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. 13Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. 15Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you! (God became flesh and dwelt among us and became our brother, so that when we love our brothers in this world and even to the least of these you are doing it unto Him, this is the fulfillment of all the law that Paul was talking about for this very reason!).
16Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. 17These things I command you, that ye love one another. 18If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 19If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. If we are friends with this world we are an enemy of God, Jms.4:4!
20Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also! Only when we keep Jesus’ word and those of His Ordained Apostles are we then in the righteousness and holiness of God in them, who were filled with His Holy Spirit, letting them know the ways of God in them, which is how we become Hollowed in His eyes and we are then seen as PERFECT! When we start doing God’s will the world starts having its fun at our expense doesn’t it; this is the persecution Jesus was talking about because we do not walk in the ways of those in this world because this is not our home that we are looking for; we are just sojourners on our way to our Heavenly Home with our Lord God Jesus Christ!
21But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me. 22If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin. 23He that hateth me hateth my Father also (And all these words of mine are meaningless to them of the world, also, because they are of God’s words to us and only the children of God can receive His words, Jn.8:47 because we know who Jesus is: Our Emmanuel!). 24If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father! 25But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. 26But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me (Jn.1:17 & Jn.14:18!): 27And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning (Ecc.12:7 and Jn.3:13!). God knows who are His (2 Tm.2:19-22) because God knows the end from the beginning (Is.46:10)!
So with all this said; we will always have the world hating us because we preach Jesus and His abiding word that we all must obey or find ourselves thrust out of the Kingdom of God in the end of day and of this age! If we do not abide in Jesus we will be cut off and throne into the burn pile which is to be the fuel for the eternal fire (That I spoke of earlier!) to come, as seen in Eze.21:31And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, and skilful to destroy. (That is why Satan and all the rest of the fallen angels are allowed to exist to this day; they will be you new task masters because you would not listen to the only word that would keep you safe for all eternity: but you listened to man’s teaching and vain philosophies and not the words of God! Therefore: 32Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it. As seen also at the end of the next chapter as well; Eze.22:31Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD!
He will pour out on your heads just exactly what you sought, which is your will and not His will for you and that is the unforgivable sin of presumptuous sin seen in Heb.12:1Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. 4Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin!
5And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? If anything in this article is lying heavy on your heart, then you might just be a Son of God if you repent and start following the only words which will keep you perfect in His eyes, which is His Commandment to you! If not them you are one of the next group of these who follow after the world’s teachings and are enemies of God, talked about in Jms.4:4!
8But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons! (If you are getting along just fine in this world and you are enjoying it, then your joy will be turned into frustrating humiliation as seen in the rich man and Lazarus! Because you cared not that as you looked around you could not see the filth and ungodliness going on around you and you didn’t even bother to pick up a stranger and get then back onto the narrow path of righteousness, which is another commandment you never kept seen in Jms.5:19Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 20Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins! How many more commandments are you not keeping in the world of God because you too have not the Holy Spirit leading you into all of God’s truths, Ro.8:9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you: Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his! Otherwise you would know all of these things wouldn’t you?
9Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of Spirits (Ecc.12:7), and live? 10For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness! 11Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous (Because in actuality you are really just a Bastard, not worthy of His chastisement: Because your heart is not right and has not been purified by His word in you!): (But to those who are His children being chastised in this world of ours, brings us to Him so that we can find out what it is that is displeasing to Him and results in this:), nevertheless afterward it (chastisement), yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. 12Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; 13And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed, (With a new heart of love for God that cannot do enough for Him that gave His all for us; and that is all He is looking for in us; that we give Him our all, as seen in Ro.12:1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.).
14Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
15Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God (So much for once saved always saved; if anyone does not listen to God and His word, well, they have fallen from His Grace, which means His love for you, which is His word given to you so you will know how to please Him, which is His gospel given to us for this reason so we can be saved by His words to us, which is His will for us as well, Mt.12:46-50!); lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled, (If we keep not His word then we are shown to have bitterness to his word and are defiled!); 16Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright (Which sought the pleasures of this world for its temporary satisfactions as Esau did and gave up his eternal birthrights for the foods of this world, which is passing away in fire, to which you too will be bound to it because you cared more for the temporary joys of this world; than for God’s righteousness that is our eternal joy with Him!). 17For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears! Just as the five unworthy virgins who kept not their jars full of additional oil so that when they needed it they would not be found lacking what was necessary for their entrance into the wedding feast, with the other five who were prepared to go all the way with their master, when He calls! Who is your master today?
18For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest, 19And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more: 20(For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart: 21And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake: (where is man’s fear today?)):
22But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. 25See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven!
26Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. 27And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. (If we are not in His word we too will be shaken out and will not remain with Jesus unto the end! His word is how we get wielded and what unites us with His Heavenly Kingdom; for all Eternity!)
28Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace (Ac.20:24 and 32: On what Grace is: We had better know what God calls Grace, not man’s definitions of it!), whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29For our God is a consuming fire!
Where is man’s fear of God today?
Just as Jesus said Himself in Mt.12:30He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad: (Are you gathering for the Lord and are you working in His fields of harvest seen in these verses, Mk.8:34And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me! 35For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it! 36For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? 37Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 38Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels! It’s all about obedience to His every word, which is our commandments!)
Mt.12: 31Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost (Who wrote the words of God beings He is God; now in the flesh of Jesus Christ, 1 Tm.3:16; Jn.1:14!) shall not be forgiven unto men. 32And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. Only those who are of God and His word are going to be one of those who are in His will seen here Mt.12:46While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him. 47Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
48But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? 49And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! 50For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother!
Obedience to God’s Word to us; IS OUR SALVATION
Jn.5:39Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 40And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
Jn.14:6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me!
This is the reason we are being persecuted today as well because we teach Jesus and His word and the world will not receive His word; if we preached the words of the world the world would love us because we teach the ways of the world because they are blinded still and do not know that the whole world lies in wickedness, 1 Jn.5:19 and the only ones who will be saved are these; 1 Jn.5:18We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. Just as Jesus told them in His day as well, Jn.8:11She said, No man, Lord: And Jesus said unto her: Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. Another one seen in scripture because God changes not, seen here as well; Jn.5:14Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee!
Just as here in the word of God to His Disciples about the seed sown: Lk.8:4And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable: 5A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it. 6And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture. 7And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it. 8And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. 9And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be? 10And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. 11Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. 13They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. 14And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection: 15But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience (Trials and Testing God will prove His Children to see if they are truly worthy of His Kingdom!)!
There were four seeds sown and only one came up and fulfilled its own potential because it keep itself in the word of God and grew in knowledge of Jesus; 2 Pt.3:10But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation (This word used here doesn’t mean to just talk a good show but to actually live a righteous life style, being set apart from this wicked world, for God’s use only, that is what a Holy Conversation means here: 2 Tm.3:5!) and godliness (Perfected!),
12Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. (Only Righteousness and Holiness will enter into His presence and stay there; all other will be led away screaming “MY God my God why have you forsaken me?”(Mt.7:15-23)
14Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. (Eph.5:27):
15And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction! (2 Tm.2:15)
17Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
18BUT GROW IN GRACE, AND IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. TO HIM BE GLORY BOTH NOW AND FOR EVER. AMEN.
True men of God will not shave their beards off Lev.19:27Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard. Lev.21:5They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh. 6They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy. Our Prayers are seen to God as our sacrifices as well as our life we live for Him or for the world around us, one is a righteous prayer and sacrifice and the other is an abomination to Him! One or the other, there is no grey area with God!
You see every man is the priest of his own house and we are now to be the temples of our God to dwell in and we are to offer a Holy and a Righteous sacrifice; which is ourselves to Him in word and indeed, Ro.12:1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
How can we be a worthy Temple of God and live as the world who knows not our God? 1Cor.10:21Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils. Jms.4:4Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God!
Just as the Apostle John had said in 1 Jn.5:19And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness!
All because they do not know the One True God! 1 Jn.5:20And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ: This is the true God, and eternal life! And anyone who knows not this simple truth has not the revelation that cometh from Jesus Christ only Mt.11:27All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and He to whomsoever the Son will reveal Him!
Therefore do not make up an imaginary god which is taught by men of the world; which is nothing but idolatry which is warned about in the last verse 21Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen!
That is what so many do that worship a god their way instead of His way because they do not want to adhere to His teachings so they make up a make-believe god they can serve; this is the same as Idolatry! These are those who seek after preachers who will tickle their ears. 2 Tm.4:1I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. 3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, and make full proof of thy ministry! Each one of us has a Ministry are we to making full proof of it?
Have we done the same as instructed here? Have we made full use and proved ourselves rightly dividing the words of God in our lives; which are supposed to be living sacrifices unto the LORD MOST HIGH; the Almighty God, Is.9:6? The only way to appear righteous, holy and clean before our Lord God Jesus Christ is to be found in His word that cleanses us, Jn.15:3Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. There is but one way to God and that has got to be His way by His word to us! His word living in our lives and we serve Him each and every day according to His divine Truths, Jn.4:24God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth!
By a consecrated life which is sanctified by His authority of His word and His Spirit living in you; which then hollows you because it is His word and His word will accomplish what it was sent out to do, Is.55:1–ffs: See 1 Cor.6:11And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God!
That is how we become justified and will be able to stand in His presence with a clear conscience because we obeyed His words to us! That is the only way to have His mind in us, 1 Cor.2:1And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. 2For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 3And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 4And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power (Of living a Holy Life! Then and only then do we get His power because we know His will, because we have His mind!): 5That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God!
6Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
7But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory (See Is.42:8 and 48:11 and 2 Cor.4:6 even Jn.11:40 as well as the Ten Lepers Lk.17:11-19!):
9But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him:
(You see the Kingdom of God lives in His Children; seen in these verses here: Lk.17:1Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! 2It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. 3Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. 4And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
5And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. 6And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamore tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you (Some man will come by and pick up that tree and carry it off for you, to wherever you send it! That is how God gets things done through people in this world, who have given themselves over for His use! Just as Mary did, she allowed the Lord to use her body for His purposes and that is what a true child of God will do to!).
7But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat? 8And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink? 9Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not. 10So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do! Is man doing that today? I Trow Not!
11And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. 12And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: 13And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. 14And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. 15And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell at the feet of whom?
16And fell down on his face at his (Jesus’) feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. 17And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? 18There are not found that returned to give glory to God; save this stranger! 19And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. See Is.49:26And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, THE MIGHTY ONE of Jacob!
20And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you!
Is the Kingdom of God living in us today?
It is if His Word is Living in you, then and only then will you have His mind in you!
1 Cor.2:10But God hath revealed them (the secrets and mysteries), unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God!
13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual (1 Jn.4:1)! 14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ! Because that man is truly born-again of water and of the Holy Spirit seen in Jn.3:3-8 and Ac.2:1-4; 8:16-17; 10:44-48; and 19:1-7! For Jesus gives the Spirit unto them who ask for it: Lk.11:13If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
You cannot have the right Theologies or the correct Philosophies unless you have the correct Psychology which comes from Christ’s mind in us and Christ be formed in us; Gal.4:19; therefore have I too become your enemy?
Gal.4:16Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
~ Even so, if I be persecuted for His sake,
I find myself in good company, in the company of the Elect! ~

Live the word of God in your lives or quite calling yourself a Christian; to be a Christian one must be Christ like and walk as He walked or you are not following Him, in word and indeed! 1 Jn.2:3And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked! And few that there will be that find that narrow path to the everlasting Kingdom of God (Mt.5:17-20; 7:13-14; 20:16; 22:14; 24:35)!
Phil.2:12Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Phil.2:10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Because Jesus is both LORD and the CHRIST, Ac.2:36 and who is LORD of ALL, Ac.10:36!
Col.3:11Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. If you have been born-again of the Holy Spirit and Baptized in Jesus’ name!
I therefore only have one thing left to say to everyone including myself…
Rev.2:5Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
Written to the first church in Revelation, to the church of Ephesus and now to the last church of this age:
Rev.3:13He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. 14And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. 19As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
There is only one church out of the seven that will be spared from the great tribulations as seen here: Rev.3:6He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. 7And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David (Which is the Sure Mercies!), he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth (Who is God all by Himself!); 8I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name!
9Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
10Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth!
11Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. 12Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. 13He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Mal.3:16Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. 17And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. 18Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not!
These will be the ones who come back with Jesus to set up His millennium Kingdom seen here: Rev.2:25But that which ye have already hold fast till I come! 26And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father! 28And I will give him the morning star!
Rev.22:10And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. 11He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. 16I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. 17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. 18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. 21The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
From Genesis to Revelation of Jesus Christ to John:
It is all “The Hollowed Word of God!”
Anyone who does not abide in it is not going to heaven; pretty simple theology here; even a child can get it; that is why they will be the greatest in His Kingdom; because they are the least and the most pure of heart and the most humble! If we do not become His children in our heart; we too will find that we have fallen short of His glory! All because we failed to heed His every word to us! He gave us freewill to be able to choose the right from the wrong; it is up to us to discern the spirit; does it line up with the word of God or does it line up with the spirits of this world that lies in wickedness? Those of this world who teach the Law which is the word of God is not for us today, these will be the least in His Kingdom! Mt.5:19 and we all know where the least place in the KINGDOM GOD is don’t we? It sits on the other side of that gulf no one can cross over seen in the story of the Rich man and poor old leprous Lazarus; that sat at the gate of the rich man’s house!
Lk.16:19There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: 20And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, 21And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. 27Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: 28For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 29Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
The riches of this world are getting ready to perish with all them who lust after them. 1 Tm.6:3If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; 4He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, 5Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. 6But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7For we brought nothing into this world and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
Jms.5:1Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. 2Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth eaten. 3Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. 4Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth. 5Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter. 6Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you. 7Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. 8Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. 9Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door. 10Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. 11Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy. 12But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.
Just as the widow who lives in luxury she has had her rewards already in this age, therefore the next will not be so welcoming to her, being she already had her wealth and shared it not with her family and even the least of these in the world; then we have not done it unto Jesus! 1 Tm.5:1Rebuke not an elder, but entreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren; 2The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity. 3Honour widows that are widows indeed. 4But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God. 5Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day. 6But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth! 7And these things give in charge, that they may be blameless ffs!
When we walk as Jesus walked we will be seen in the light of eternal light; Jesus is that only light; Jn.8:12Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Lk.11:28But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it. So are we going to be blessed or cursed and hear these words to us; Lk.6:46And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Mal.1:6A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name? Mt.7:23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Thus sayeth the Lord of the host!
