7 Lies About Christianity

“Christianity is great, but not everything we say or believe about it is necessarily true. Here are the most common stereotypes that Christianshave about Christianity that are wrong:

You’re Always Happy: There’s an unhealthy expectation within many faith communities that we’re always supposed to be joyful, as if being anything other than a smiling, peaceful, and jolly spiritual cheerleader is detrimental to Christianity.

“Being a good witness” is often the Christian way of saying, “act the part.” But while contentment and happiness is a spiritual virtue, it should never come at the expense of honesty, transparency, and truthfulness. We shouldn’t pretend to be happy and use the facade of joy as an evangelism tool.

God desires reconciliation and renewal, and this often means confronting broken relationships and dealing with sin within our lives. Asking for forgiveness, admitting addiction, confronting abuse, seeking justice, requesting help, and serving others often makes you the opposite of happy — and that’s OK.

There’s a season for everything, and some of life’s most important, loving, and holy moments are times of trial, sorrow, and sadness — so let’s stop trying to turn Christianity into something it was never meant to be.

Your Problems Will Disappear: Some people use Christianity as a form of escapism, a crutch, and a way to avoid the pain, suffering, and struggles of life. But at the center of Jesus’ life and teaching is (again) the concept of truth. Christianity isn’t about ignoring reality but embracing it, engaging the real world and all the baggage that comes with it.

In many ways, following Jesus causes us to accept — and confront — the facts, whether they are good or bad. We shouldn’t hide or pretend or ignore difficulties, but address them.

A faith in Christ requires honesty and bravery, and it demands sacrifice, service, and heartbreak. The New Testament shows us that Jesus’ disciples faced even more problems when they decided to follow him: persecution, poverty, and ultimately martyrdom.

No, our problems won’t disappear, but a relationship with God is worth the accompanying struggles that may come with it.

You’ll Be “Blessed”:  If you’re seeking wealth, prosperity, comfort, and security, Christianity isn’t the place to go.

Contrary to our consumer tendencies, Jesus’ teachings continually instruct believers to sacrifice and be willing to give everything away for the sake of loving others. The disciples of Jesus lived a dangerous and hard life that continually relied on the hospitality and generosity of others. They often ended up in jail or were even killed because of their faith.

Some of the most holy and righteous people I know have lives that are extremely rough and filled with all sorts of trouble. Disease, sickness, poverty, crime, abuse, and a litany of other horrible things happen to good people — even Christians who passionately love God.

Does this mean that they don’t trust God enough or aren’t being good Christians? No! Our faith isn’t a pathway toward gaining an array of physical, financial, or social blessings — it’s not a formula for worldly success, so let’s stop treating it like one.

Missions and Ministry Is Fun and Rewarding: Don’t get me wrong, it often is rewarding, but from the time we’re in Sunday school throughout high school and college, and even as adults, we’re told that “missions” and “ministry” and “evangelism” is fun, exciting, and rewarding. We go on exotic mission trips, work at car washes to raise money for local charities, and spend a day volunteering at the homeless shelter. Most of us then have the luxury of going home, back to our “regular” lives.

Missions and ministry is hard work. There’s a reason the burnout rate is absurdly high for people whose primary vocation is ministry-related. Pastors and missionaries are considered high-risk candidates within the medical community because of their susceptibility to addiction, stress, and abuse. It’s not an easy life.

Being a full-time missionary and minister requires constant service, with very little recognition and plenty of conflict. Combine this with long hours, low pay, and hardly any respectability, and it’s an existence that few can handle.

But within our churches and Christian institutions, we glorify the idea of serving others without presenting an accurate or truthful picture of what it really looks like or requires from us. Instead of telling the horror stories of relational conflict, emotional pain, and physical turmoil, we’re fed stories of revival, spiritual renewal, and miraculous wonders. That’s great, but in many cases it gives us false expectations of what ministry honestly looks like.

We need to start portraying ministry accurately instead of marketing it as some sort of superficial fun-filled adventure. And for those already within ministry, we need to give them all the support and encouragement they deserve.

All Your Questions Will Be Answered: Christianity is full of doubt, uncertainty, nuance, and complexity. There are very few clear answers, and the ones that exist are debated among hundreds of theologians. For those seeking resolutions to life’s deepest questions and mysteries, Christianity will provide some clarity, but ultimately it leaves much to the imagination.

As believers, we need to start accepting the fact that we don’t know everything. When we try to turn the Bible into a set of answers to all of the world’s challenges and questions, we end up manipulating the message of Christ and forming it into our own agendas just to appease our curiosity or quell the objections of others.

The Christian Community Is Great: Many people leave the Christian faith not because they hate Jesus, but because they hate the people who represent him. Christians hurt people. They fight, argue, yell, scream, and do horrible things.

Nobody knows this better than Christians themselves, who routinely suffer through denominational splits, church infighting, community gossip, and an avalanche of interpersonal conflicts.

Christians aren’t better than anyone else. The divorce rates, crime rates, and other “moral” comparative data show little difference between them and the rest of the world. So let’s stop pretending Christians have the market corner on what’s right and wrong.

We need to start listening and talking with others instead of self-righteously judging and convicting others. There’s a reason why you can’t look across a mall and point out who’s a Christian and who isn’t — because there’s no noticeable difference.

It Makes You Better Than Others:This is the hardest truth for Christians to swallow, that they aren’t any better than anyone else. In fact, Jesus continually tried to instill the virtues of humility and humbleness throughout his ministry, repeatedly trying to teach his followers that everyone was loved by God, regardless of social, financial, or spiritual status.

When we see ourselves as superior, we become like the Pharisees, who craved power and control and authority. But God, the ruler of the world, made himself nothing, and died on a cross for the sake of others — for the sake of those who were in the process of murdering him! Are we willing to become nothing for the sake of others, even for those we dislike?

The problem with romanticizing Christianity is that we turn our faith into a product, using various selling points to make it look more attractive. It’s not that the above headlines are entirely false, it’s just that Christians publicize them as being entirely true. This creates false expectations and idols, and inevitably leads to disappointment and sense of failure.

Instead of promoting Christianity as a set of benefits, we need to promote Christ. In the end, when everything else fails and falls short, Jesus will remain faithful through it all. We can trust him above any form of religion we attempt to turn Christianity into.”

In reply to 7lies about Christianity

Let me just say this in as few words as I possibly can, this young lady has seen some trying times; and sometimes when people are placed in positions they were really never called to fulfil they do not have a great deal of success; we can build a house but if God’s not in it, it will never get filled or even if it does get filled it may not be God doing the filling, like we see in many of today’s emerging church or non denominational; they are going to get hung up on doctrine they are just after numbers which go along with tithing which makes a good bottom line, which equals growth which they try and push off as success, when no one actually repented or was saved and had any kind of supernatural marriage at all with the Lord Jesus Christ all they really had was an emotional event, therefore they leave un repented and go and walk the same as they had before and therefore you cannot tell a Christian walking across the mall from another Christian; But I disagree with that statement because my wife and I are approached all the time and they can not only feel the Holy Spirit in our presence with them but it is more than apparent in our dress(It’s called Modesty and even they have called us one of those who teach or preach Holiness!)! After all no one will enter into His kingdom without Holiness and Righteousness (Mt.5:20; Heb.12:14) which only comes from Jesus’ own Holy Spirit living inside of us, Jn.14:8! When and only when we receive His repentance as see in Cornelius’ house I refer you to scripture, Ac.10:1- chapter 11:15And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. 16Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. 17Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God? 18When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying: Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life. There are not enough people who are actually having an Holy Ghost Experience in the first place, all they are having is like I said before is an emotional experience after believing but it takes faith to receive the gifts of the Spirit (1 Cor.1:1-9 It was confirmed in those saints that they had indeed had an Holy Ghost experience because it was confirmed in them: This is who the Epistles have been written too! When the true Holy ghost comes upon anyone everyone around them will know it no one will have to ask did I get it, if they have to ask if they received the holy Ghost; I’ll guarantee  you they didn’t get it, because it comes with the fire; Ps.104:4; Heb.1:7.)! The Faith comes after you put your beliefs in action! I refer you to Jms. Chapter 2. Another thing the Lord has shown me while working for Him is that He will never do anything you cannot do yourself; but in the important things that are prayed for that are in His will he will never fail you! His mercies are truly forever, Ps.100:5.

Jesus never promised us a rose garden; in fact He did promise us a tribulation, Jn.16:33These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. How did Jesus overcome this life time He had with us in human form? He overcame the life span of a mortal God-man with the power of His almighty Father living inside of Him; Jn.14: 6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. 8Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? 10Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. 12Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. 15If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; 17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Jesus showed us the way; was He not baptized by John the Baptist and filled with the Holy Spirit even all the fulness of the God-Head was in Him; Col.2: When we understand God is a Spirit, Jn.4:24 then and only then do we get the full picture of who God is in Jesus Christ reconciling the world unto Himself by Jesus, 2 Cor.5:17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. This is the only way we are ever going to get His mind in us, 1 Cor.2:1-16 so that Christ Jesus can be formed in us as seen in Gal.4:19! This was what Paul was afraid of because these people who were supposed to be above their petty complaints and desires were hindering the work of the living God in them, we are His Temples, 1 Cor.3:16-17; 1 Cor.6:19What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. We are not our own any longer, we have had a marriage and we need to up hold our covenant; Ro.12:1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. 3For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. We cannot operate in the supernatural if we were never really covenanted to God can we? If we have not had His name invoked over us in baptism then He doesn’t need to do one thing for us because we never did what His Apostles told us to do. Jn.15:20; Ac.2:33-40; which goes right along with Paul’s teaching too; 2 Cor.6:14Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. It takes more than just saying some words over someone as in reciting a scripture over them instead of fulfilling it; I refer you too Mt.28:19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. First off here we see Jesus telling the Apostles what they needed to do for Jesus their God with them, Mt.1:23 who is Immanuel! They knew exactly who Jesus was; Jesus told them to baptize in the name of the Father, what was that name? Was not God the I Am? Ex.3:14, Jesus showed them and the Sanhedrin who He was in Jn.8:24I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

25Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning. Jesus just prior to this showed them who He was in verse 11 and 12:  11She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. (Only God can forgive sin!)

12Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Jesus said I Am the light of the world, Gen.1:3 God revealed His glory, He said let there be light, Jesus has always been that light, 1 Tm.6:15Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; 16Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen. Amen?

Jesus also said, I Am the bread that came down from heaven that if a man shall eat, Jn.6:33For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. 34Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. 35And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. Jesus is that bread that came down from heaven from God because He is Immanuel God with us! Jesus told us man does not live by bread alone but by every word out of the mouth of God; Mt.4:4 and Lk.4:4 not a coincidence either, God makes no mistakes! You can see the same thing in Ac.20:28Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. And Jn.20:28And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God. If we can’t figure out who God is from these two scriptures alone, it is pointless for me to continue because it truly is the leading of the Father which bring people to Christ Jesus, Jn.6:44No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. Who was Jesus’ Father? Mt.1:18Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.  20But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. Jesus said in Jn.4:24God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. How can we worship Him in Spirit and in Truth unless we know who we are worshipping? When we get that figured out by the power of revelation of the Holy Spirit Exegesising the Holy Bible for us because He wrote it because that is the mind of God because it is the very God itself which is not a person at all, it is Spirit Jn.3: 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Unless we get born-again of God as seen in Jn.1:12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Then we will never have the mind of Jesus Christ living in us to even know His will which is His will for us called the Holy Bible. I refer you to scripture yet again; 1 Pt.1:9Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. 10Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: 11Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. Peter knew exactly who Jesus was as we look again to his writings; 2 Pt.1:19We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. These two scriptures say one had the Holy Spirit in these men of the Old Testament and the other one says it was the Spirit of Jesus Christ in them now the trinity would have a problem with understanding this scripture because it would be a conflict of their theologies to say that Jesus’ Spirit is the same as the Holy Spirit according to their dogma! There is no way that Jesus’ Spirit is the Holy Spirit according to their teachings; the Father is not the Son and the Holy Spirit is not Jesus or the Father and the Son is not the Father according to trinity hypothesis; When quite clearly scripture which is irrefutable and infallible because God cannot lie; and the only way we can perceive these two scriptures is to understand Jesus is the Holy Spirit which is God manifested in the flesh as seen in 1 Tm.3:16And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Is.42:8I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Is.48:11For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another. Jn.11:40Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?  Jesus is the glory of God; 2 Cor.4:6For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness (Gen.1:3), hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. We would have known that if we would have searched out Mt.3:3;  3For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. From Is.40: Yes verse 3; 3The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Is that not what John the Baptist did? Sure it is! Jesus is none other than God in the flesh, just as He said He was and they kept picking up stones to stone Him for saying so! Jn.8:58Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I Am! I for one do not see how many times the LORD our God who is both the LORD and THE CHRIST, Ac.2:36 who is LORD of ALL, Ac.10:36 how is the first and the last of both the Old Testament and the New testament; Rev.1:8 & 11; Is.41:4 as well as the Almighty God, Is.9:6 who is the Prince of Peace our Lord Jesus Christ who said it best; Jn.10: 30I and my Father are one: Which clearly rebukes the so called Holy Trinity which is nothing more than man’s vain theologies from someone who claims to be God on earth and is supposively an irrefutable man called the Pope of the Roman Catholic (Universal who welcomed Pagans and Heathen Religions into their teachings!) Church which gives us idolatry, worshipping Saints that are dead as well as living, even their bones, many of which are buried under their alters to supposively to give extra anointing or something, plus the veneration of Mary into Mariology as well as Mariolatry, which are clearly seen as rebuked in scriptures and is also an abomination to God, who practice the works of the Nicolaitans, which God hated, which is no more than conquering the laity and making them go through the Priest for redemption that comes from Jesus Christ alone when the vail in the Temple was ripped from the Top Down showing us there is no longer any barrier for God’s people to enter straight to the throne room of God by Jesus Christ but God is one, Gal.3:20Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. Which is harmonized and does not conflict with scripture as seen in Zeck.14:9And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. 59Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

When we get this understanding presented to us and we search it our under the anointing of the one who wrote the book we start receiving revelation, because we are starting to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling, Philp.2:12 before we get to the throne room and see God judging the world; if it is the judgment seat of God, Is.45:22Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. 23I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. Philp.2:10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Because Jesus is the Gory of God manifested in the flesh, which is the Son of God because He Jesus is the sure mercies promised to King David, that his son would be on the throne of Israel for eternity! Making Jesus both Lord and Christ and the Son of God according to the flesh! All the fulness of the God-head in Him, So much for some manmade trinity!

When we get cleansed by the living word inside of us (Jn.15:3) it then shows up on the outside and you can see it clear across the mall! But you have to be sanctified, consecrated and mostly justified a seen in 1 Cor.6:11And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. This only happens when we fallow Jesus’ teachings as well as all of the Apostles’ teachings, Jn.15:20 see 2 Tm.3:15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. When your belief starts working for Jesus Christ it shows up on the outside as well see; Ac.26:19Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: 20But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance. This was the Apostles Paul’s testimony to King Agrippa which should be ours too! 1 Cor.11:1Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. These are all commandments we signed up for at baptism, if you were baptized in Jesus’ name as required in scripture, because all power is attached to that name alone, Jn.14:14, Mt.24:18 all power under the earth in the earth and in the highest most parts of the heavens of heavens has been given to no other than Jesus Christ and it is for the remission of sins, Ac.2:38 through repentance for there is no other name given by which we MUST be saved, Ac.4:12; there is but one faith, one Lord, and one baptism, Eph.4:  5One Lord, one faith, one baptism6One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all (When you have the Father you have Jesus, Jn.10:30; 1 Jn.5:20 this is the true God!!! Whose blood redeems us and by which salvation comes, Ac.20:28 in no other name but in Jesus’ name, Ac.4:12!). 7But unto every one of us is given grace (The word of God, Jn.8:47; Jn.10:1-ffs!); according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Grace and Truth came by Jesus Christ, Jn.1:17 and the true Grace of God is His word; Ac.20:24But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. The Good News of salvation which came by the word becoming flesh, Jn.1:14 and the word of God living inside of you which cleanses you when you walk by the Spirit and not by the flesh or by sight but the word of God living in you! Ac.20:32And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

Jesus allowed John the Baptist to baptize Him for a couple of reasons but I will only talk about one; He has no reason to be baptized he had no sin and need no repentance, therefore He was doing it to show us the way to salvation, (Jn14:6) and there can be no salvation without righteousness and is that not what He told John, so that all righteousness could be fulfilled? Mt.3:15And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. Jesus tied the Old Testament to the New Testament by His baptism from the last Old Testament Prophet, the reincarnated Elijah: Mt.17:10And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come? 11And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. 12But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. 13Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

Ecc.12:7Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. And will return whenever He needs those spirits to go and do something for Him! Because He our God is the only one by which we receive our souls which He manifested in us, Is.57:16For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made. Unless He cometh to live inside us to show us a better way which he also giveth more power to resist and overcome sin; Gen.4:7If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? And if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. Sin is nothing more than this; not doing what God said to do, now if it is done in ignorance you have a chance of forgiveness when you repentant and quit doing it! Num.15; don’t pick up sticks on the Sabbath when you know you were told not to do any work on that day, now everyday is the Lord’s day and is Holy! Because the Spirit has been poured out on all flesh and it is up to us to receive it so the word of God can be taught to us of God, Jer.31:31-34; Is.54:13; Jn.6:45! When we wash in the water of God which is His word it cleanses us just as soap and water in the natural realms; it shows up on the outside as well; clear across the mall! Jms.4:1From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? 2Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. 4Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. 5Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? 6But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 7Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 9Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. 1 Jn.1:15Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.

When we start living like we are supposed to God will reveal great power in us who walk according to His will, He needs not to even listen to prayer of a sinner, for they are an abomination to Him; Prov.15:8The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight. Prov.28:9He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination. God’s Grace is His Word to us which is our scriptures and He will not put them away for us so that we can live according to our lusts of the flesh, it isn’t going to happen; Ro.8:1-ffs explains this just as Jesus did in Mt.5:17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. See Mt.24:35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. God cannot lie and His words which got married to the New Testament at Jesus’ Baptism got brought forward to the New Testament on a new level to a spiritual level so that even to look and think upon a lustful though is in the eyes of Gods as actually doing it because He sees to the very heart of us! 2 Tm.2:19Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 20But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 21If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work. 22Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 23But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. 24And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. Unless we are pure in heart and humbled ourselves and working in His fields of harvest my friends He doesn’t have to do a thing for us; because the bride has not honored her husband and has not lived up to her part of the marriage contract! These are those who call themselves Christians and have an outward appearance, see 2 Tm.3:5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. To live an overcoming life style, unless we die daily and pick up our cross and follow after Him we are not worthy of Him, Mt.10:32Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. 34Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. 37He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. 40He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. 41He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. So I suggest you listen to His Prophet; when we keep to Him and Him alone He shows up on us on the outside and it is evident clear across the world not just in the Mall! The only sin that is not forgivable is the sin of being a presumptuous sinner; like the man picking up sticks in Num.15! This is exactly what Heb. chapter 12 is all about; if you get anything out of chapter 12 it better be that you need holiness to get into heaven as well as righteousness Mt.5:20; we need to know this book and it contents better than the scribes and the Pharisees! It needs to be in our hearts and always on our minds praying continuously as Paul preached, always having God’s words on our lips, this is the only way we can be in truth because only God cannot lie and if we are His oracles then we will always be truthful because we speak only His words! This is how we become His jewels; Mal.3:16Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. 17And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. 18Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

When we do this it shows up clear across the Mall!
