Staying in God’s Will

According to God’s Word!

As always we lead off with prayer and supplication for His divine truths to appear to us from His living words! In Jesus name we always pray Amen!

This sermon that I started before it was taken over by My Lord God was about some of these things namely: His Statutes, His Judgments, His Ordinances, His Sayings, His Testimonies which He has given us to live by, for it is the only way to His eternal Kingdom to come but is yet still here, for it dwells in each and every truly born-again of the water in His name and baptized in His glorious Spirit in us which gives us the ability to prophecy for it is truly Him that gives to each of us a Holiness, and a Righteousness that we never had before He came to live inside us! For it is truly His Righteousness and Holiness which is His Godliness that shows up on the outside and not of us according to 2 Cor.5:19-21!

All I have to say is this: If we are to be called by His name we must adhere to all His scriptures; for to do otherwise is blasphemy of His Almighty Name! By our words we shall be judged for they will either convict us or justify us, but only those words which align up with our walk will be those that will be rewarded, for by our faith in His words we will do as He instructed, if we love Him with all our hearts, minds, souls and strengths, we will be those who are able to carry on in His words of truth Jn.4:24! It takes a Holy Anointing to be able to walk in entirety according to His every word! Many will get some of them (Scriptures), some will get a few of them done and some will not even try for they have been told, just to believe and you are or will be saved, without doing a thing! Make a public confession get some water sprinkled on you a few times; you know once for the Father once for the Son and once for the Holy Spirit which is actually two too many sprinkles! For grace and truth came by Jesus Christ and when He left He said He would have the Father sent the Holy Spirit which is called by Jesus’ name (Jn.14:26 & 15:26) which is the Spirit of Truth which Jesus is in human form (Jn.1:17 & Mt.1:23), which He said when you have seen Me you have seen the one who sent Him (Jn.12:45), as well as I and My Father are One (Jn.10:30) which is the Spirit of Truth (Jn.14:16-18), the Holy Spirit which hovered over Mary the same as He did in the day He said Let there be in Gen.1:1-2! For the mystery of Godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory, 1 Tm.3:16; See Ac.20:28! This is the same God and our saviour Jesus Christ, the Apostle Paul was teaching Titus! As we see in Tit.2:9Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again; 10Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things. 11For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. 15These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee. Paul here is teaching the same things Jesus taught as well; look to Mt.4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Now look to what Paul was teaching in Ac.26:19 Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: 20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

As well as the Apostle John who has once again shown us throughout His epistles who the great God in Jesus Christ really is starting at Jn.1:1 and 1 Jn.1:1; finishing with verse 18; the only begotten God according to the Greek manuscripts as well as 1 Jn.5:20And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ: This is the true God, and eternal life. Jesus even told us Himself; John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If one doesn’t know Jesus to be God in the flesh, then one must have Him show you this revelation as we see in Matthew 11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. See Jn.14:7-9 and He will show you, if you are truly born-again of His Spirit! If not you still have work to do, don’t you?

I will yet show just one more time exactly who God (Jn.4:24 who is the Holy Spirit!), is in Jesus Christ as shown by Matthew in the very first chapter, Mt.1:23Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us! Our God with us is now been identified for one and for all! It was foreordained of God that He would come to redeem for Himself a bride who has made herself ready for Him who is spotless and without wrinkle, meaning to be blameless! As we look to the great prophet Isaiah; which the Lord gave him to write to us in his word; Is.7:14Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Is.40:3The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God! Is this not what John the Baptist did for Jesus? Or should I just go ahead and say our Great God the LORD of the hosts! The KING of Kings and LORD of Lords as Isaiah told us yet again in Is.9:6For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government (World’s authority, statutes, sayings, precepts, judgments, ordinances, testimonies, Commandments, Lk.16:16-17); shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. A Prince of Peace the Son of David a man after God’s own heart and Son of God according to the flesh which was adopted in by our Great God in 2 Sam.7:29; Ps.2:7; Ac.13:33, our great God adopted the tribe of Judah and the lineage of King David as told by Jacob the Lord’s prophet that the scepter would never depart from between the knees of the tribe of Judah till Shiloh (Which means “He who it is” Jesus the Messiah meaning Holy One or Anointed One! There is but one blameless and sinless our God! 1 Cor.5:21) come, Gen.49:8-12! Now that we know and understand who the Father is in Jesus Christ reconciling the world unto Himself by Jesus Christ as St. John has explained to us in 1 Jn.5:20 but in 1 Jn.5:19And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. So that, whatever this world says we are not to believe it; but only in our God and His word that He has given us for our redemption as Jesus said: Jn.5:39Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 40And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. Jesus and His word is our eternal life that we must abide in before we can say we are a Christian! To be a Christian you must be Christ like! Gal.4:19My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

1 Jn.5:20And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ: This is the true God, and eternal life.

21Little children, keep your selves from idols. (Which is being covetous and being self willed which is being contentious of His given words of truth to us; for we must worship in truth and in His Spirit or we are only deceiving ourselves to the pits of Hell!) Amen. I refer you to 1 Sam.15:22And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice (continual repentances), and to hearken (To hear and obey is better than all,) the fat of rams (for Continual Repentances of sin!  See also Jn.5:14 & Jn.8:11 If you have been truly born-again you will put sin away from you; for sin is death to the sinner, Ro.6:23!). 23For rebellion (Against God’s Word is unforgiveable as seen in Mt.12:31-32 because you gather not with our Lord as seen in verse 30!) is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. We find ourselves no better than King Saul which ended up killing himself because he had lost his faith in his God! Is that not what we do when we disobey His mighty words of life? We chose to handle life’s concerns our way, instead of our Lord’s way; which is not being in His Will for us, Mt.12:46-50! In everything we say and do it must be to the glory of Jesus Christ, Col.3:17, even Baptism; for there is no other name by which salvation comes, Ac.4:12!

From the Old Testament to the New; the Lord and His words of Holiness and Righteousness stay the same through obedience! The Lord our God told Abraham to walk before Him in perfection (Gen.17:1: In perfection of what? The Covenant God was giving to Abraham; this means obedience was needed to stay in a covenant relationship with God, just as today, because God our LORD Jesus does not change, Mt.5:17-19; 24:35; Heb.13:8 and Mal.3:6 notice in this section what God is looking for in His people, go on down to verses 16-18!): and this is exactly what our LORD in the flesh told us to do in Matthew 5:48Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. The Lord changes not and we must press into His word as seen in Lk.16:16The law and the prophets were until John (The Baptist): since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it (Must obey it!). 17And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail. And can two walk together unless they agree (Amos.3:3); we cannot be equally yoked with our Lord and His truth unless we take His word unto our self for our very own (Mt.5:1-*17-20*-*48*!) & (Gen.1:1 through Rev.22:21)! And then when we are yoked with Him in truth (Jn.4:24): And in obedience to His word (Jn.8:51) we will know the truth and it will set us free and we will be free (From eternal death of a sinner!) indeed (Jn.8:31-32 For sure! And in the action of completing what He has said for us to do!)! Means the doing of His word this is true understanding which is of more worth, than the priceless gold and rubies or pearls and even the stars above in their glory is not as beautiful in the eyes of our Lord as a faithful servant who obeys his master! The problem with man today is that he doesn’t know we are to be slaves to our God and after we have proven ourselves He makes us servants in His own house; and then we get to be proven some more and grow in the fulness of Him and we then become friends as the disciples were because they obey their master who had the words of Life! Jn.8:51Verily, verily, I say unto you: If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death. Pretty straight forward no beating around the bush even a child can get this theology! God’s Psychology is the only Philosophy; we should build our theology on; which is according to His Living Word: Which is His Will for us: which is His Revelation being given to us: Which is His Grace of Salvation for our Redemption: Which is only in Jesus Christ, Jn.14:6 who gives us the way, the truth, and the life by which we must go! We must have His mind, 1 Cor.2:1-16: Which is Spiritually Discerned! See 1 Jn.2:20-27 and 2 Pt.1:15-21, it is by the Holy Spirit we receive our enlightenments, Jn.14:16-18 (1-28)! The Father in Jesus is greater than I He said because the Father in Me He doeth the works, who was that but the Holy Spirit who is God, for God is a Spirit, Jn.4:24; Gen.1:1-3 which became light: John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Whatever was written about God in the Old Testament you can find it written about Jesus in the New Testament! See Judges chp.13:18 the angel’s name is secret meaning “Wonderful” see Is.9:6 which is the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; and yet again to chp.7-8 notice the verses in chp.6:1-14 and then the angel of the Lord took His staff and the rock gave forth fire and consumed the sacrifice; well what angel has a staff but our Lord the shepherd Jesus Christ as we see in Jn.10:1-38! Just as Zech.12:10And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced! 1 Pt.1:10Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: 11Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. 12Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into. Beings the Angels are ministering spirits unto all those who receive Jesus Christ as their saviour it is up to them to be our ministering spirits to look into our welfare, as we become His ministers of flames of fire, Heb.1:7 & Ps.104:4!

Staying in the will of God-According to His Word!

Lev.18:4Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God. 5Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD.

Lev.19:37Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am the LORD.

Jn.14:15If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Mt.5:17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

We see here Jesus told us yet again that He did not come to abolish the word of God because He is the word of God manifested in the very flesh of King David, have mercy on us you Son of King David of Jesse! Jesus is the Holy Spirit which revealed Himself to creation first as light in Gen.1:3 as Jesus said that to know Him is the have the light of the world; Jn.8:12Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Which Jesus is the very light of life in this darkened world of sin! For it is the Spirit that quickeneth and He is that Spirit that has been from the beginning that came from above; Jn.6:62What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? 63It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. This is that great God who has come to us several times in different manners; Jn.8:19Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered: Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also. If you know who Jesus is, you know the Father for they are One, Jn.10:30I and my Father are one. 31Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Why because they knew exactly what Jesus said, He and God are One! God with us and God in the flesh, 1 Tm.3:16And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Because God is a Spirit Jesus ought to know: Jn.4:24God is a Spirit: and they that worship him *must* worship him in *spirit* and in *truth*. When we receive this revelation, Henceforth, in order for us to worship Jesus our God in the truth, we must know these things are true in our spirits’: When we do then we can worship Him in faith believing all things are really for us and we were put here to rule over Satan and all the misfit angels who left their first estate as told in Jude:6And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Which the Lord told Cain to have dominion over Satan because sin lieth at the door and we are to keep him under our control and sin not, as Jesus has told us to do: Jn.5:14Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee. As well as Jn.8:11She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her: Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. So if these could do that even before the Holy Spirit was poured out on all flesh, how much more should we be above all the Law and the Prophets who have supposively been born-again of His Holy Spirit indwelling in them; writing all His ways, wills, and Commandments in and on our mind’s; being we are given a new heart that is made of His love for mankind and the whole world, just as His is and who abhors sin, just like Him! This is living in His Grace abiding in His words of Life, which are Words of Eternal Life!

This is why people who profess to be “Christian” walk as they did in the world before they were allegedly converted or born-again and have not come out of the world (Jms.4:4) and obey not His living words of life (Jn.8:31-32; and51; There is a cost to discipleship; Mk.8:34-38; Read Mt.10 and chap. 16! If you do not pick up your cross and still follow Him; you are still not worthy of Him! Because you do not worship Him in Spirit and in Truth!); because they have been deceived by the power of this world (1 Jn.5:19) called sin and his name is Satan the devil, the father of all lies; without true repentance there is no remission or forgiveness of sins, the power to go and sin no more!

You must be born-again of the water of baptism in Jesus name for this is the New Testament Covenant (1 Cor.6:11) to be buried in the watery grave with Jesus Christ, Ro.6:1What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2God forbid: How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7For he that is dead is freed from sin. 8Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him: 10For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 12Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof: 13Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. 14For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. 15What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. 16Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness (The Word of God!)? 17But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. 18Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. 19I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. 20For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. 21What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. 22But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit (Works-obedience to the Word of God!) unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life In Jesus Christ our Lord!

We have to stay in the operations of our Lord God according to His word or we are using our words which do nothing, we must come to Jesus His way in order to be redeemed by His word! I refer you yet again to scripture for I will not leave it: Col.2:6As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving: 8Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 11In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. As the Apostle Paul told us to be rooted in Jesus Christ and to imitate Paul as he imitated Jesus Christ as he said seek after the best gifts; and I will show you a more excellent way, 1 Cor.12:31But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way: And 1 Cor.4:16Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me: 1 Cor.11:1Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.2Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you. Because that is what Jesus told the disciples too, if we would listen to Jesus we would listen to them also, Jn.15:20Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. Because not only were they taught by God in the flesh they were the first to receive His Holy Spirit and to have a much more sure prophecy as told by St. Peter: 1 Pt.1:19We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. If we have not the Holy Spirit how are we to translate His word by His reckoning? We can’t, for this reason Jesus said we must be born-again of water and Spirit or we cannot go to heaven: Jn.3:3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4Nicodemus saith unto him: How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? 5Jesus answered: Verily, verily, I say unto thee: Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit (See Jn.1:12-13 also.). 7Marvel not that I said unto thee: Ye must be born again (Ac.2:1-4 and many like verses in the book of Acts shows us the signs of being born-again of the holy Spirit even under Paul’s ministry also as in Chap. 19:1-7! See Ro.8:1-9ffs to 12:1-2 to verse 21 as well.). 8The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. 9Nicodemus answered and said unto him: How can these things be? 10Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? 11Verily, verily, I say unto thee: We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. 12If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? God’s ways are not our ways, Is.55:6Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Therefore let’s only obey His written word to us because God cannot lie, Tit.1:1Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness; 2In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; 3But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour; Heb.6:17-18That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: And finally just to show you our Lord Changes not from the Old Testament to the New Testament; God changes not, Mal.3:6 and Num.23:19God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man (Which is the Lord’s Prophet and Anointed One!), that he should repent (change His ways Heb.13:8; Mt.5:17-18 & Mt.24:35!): hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Now that we have the basics out of the way, let us return to what thus sayeth the Lord our God! After we know who Jesus is and that He is the manifested Spirit and word of God in human form; we must learn to abide in Him only! For to do otherwise is a grave mistake that will end as you being fuel for the fire as talked about by another prophet of our Lord God; Look to Eze.21:31And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, and skilful to destroy. 32Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it. The children of Israel were given to us for an example of God’s children who were stiffnecked for they will be tried in the fires of tribulation because of their disobedience to the word of God: Eze.22:30And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. 31Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD. (Gal.6:7-8; Phil.2:10-12!) As soon as we are pulled out of the way and removed to our new training grounds in heaven for a few years before we come back to set up our Lord’s Kingdom here on earth; we must stand in the gap, but after we are removed; then the great and terrible day of the Lord’s divine wrath is unleashed on earth called the great tribulations were Satan is given full reign and freedom to cause as much grief as he can! If you can’t live for the Lord now you surely won’t get it done then! You will be bitter at the Lord for all your calamities that has befallen you! But that is another prophetic sermon yet to come later!

Now I will return to what thus sayeth My Lord to us today!

Staying in the word of God according to His will for us is how we have eternal life with Him! What I want to know is: If a person can’t worship and praise and give thanksgiving to our Lord; why do they want to go to heaven? That’s all we will be doing in heaven for eternity: Giving Praise to our Lord and King of kings the Mighty God Himself our Lord Jesus! The first and the last! The one that was and was dead and now living forevermore, the Almighty God!

Statutes, Judgments, Ordinances, Sayings, And Testimonies!

Gen.17:1And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect! Mt.5:48Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Staying in the will of God according to His Word!

Things of man and of this world are not for us any longer in Jesus Christ!

After receiving the keys to heaven Peter rebuked the Lord Jesus for saying that He must be killed by the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes in Jerusalem; and Peter said these things must not be so. And Jesus said unto Peter and the rest of the disciples so that they all would hear and understand that they were no longer to seek after things of this world and our own ways but to look to our God which knows all things which we don’t understand now but will later! Jesus said to Peter; Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

Jesus had said these things for our doctrinal truths that were very profound; He is giving the keys to heaven one second and as soon as Peter was in fault the Lord Jesus took everything away from him and called him Satan and told him to get thee behind him for you are an offence to Me: For thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men! Mt.16:24Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. 26For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 27For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works (The Rapture!). Jesus said we will know them who are His by the fruits they bring forth as in Mt.7:12Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets (meaning: testimonies, statues, saying, and Ordinances or Commandments!). 13Enter ye in at the strait gate (Which is Jesus Christ): for wide is the gate, and broad is the way (Of the world, 1 Jn.5:19), that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at: 14Because strait is the gate (One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism, Eph.4!), and narrow is the way (Jn.10:1-18 & Jn.14:6!), which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it (Mt.20:16; 22:14!). 15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves (Who speak according to their Philosophies and vain theologies, which do not line up with the word of God or have the power to walk therein, 2 Tm.3:5-7 to 16-17 & Tit.2:7-15!). 16Ye shall know them by their fruits. (They will talk one way and walk another which is contrary to our Lords words of truth: For they will still abide in the world as they did before and as the world does now! 1 Jn.5:19). Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven (Lk.6:46); but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. (Of Christ Jesus the chief corner stone, Ac.4:10-12!) 26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand (The world’s doctrines of fools, Catholicism the Trinity theologies; Man’s wisdom fails ever time! This one verse dispels the Trinity Doctrine, Jn.10:30! Mk.12:29; Deu.6:4; Mt.1:23 and so on and so ondonec infinitatem until infinity! 1 Jn.5:20!): 27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. 28And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: 29For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. (Why? Because they were taught of God: Jn.6:45It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.46Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father. So if one cannot see the Father in Jesus Christ maybe they are not of the Father, because they are not of God and cannot hear His words (Jn.8:47) or the Father would reveal Himself to them in Jesus Christ for they are One (Jn.10:30) and undividable (Mt.11:27; Jn.6:65; Ecc.12:7!); when something is omnipresent it is undividable! That which is spirit is spirit and that which is flesh is flesh and when flesh and blood has a living soul in it, it then becomes a living person and only then did our Lord God become a person in Jesus Christ, otherwise our Lord God is the Holy Spirit which is totally other in essence! See Ac.20:28; Jn.20:28)!

Repentance our first works, Rev.2:5!

Mt.4:17From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. For Jesus is the Kingdom of God as He has shown us in these verses that we shall look to for our direction: Mt.12:28But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you. And finally this one where Jesus shows us whose finger does all these things: Lk.11:20But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you. If we open our doors (Souls) to Him He will come in and sup with us! This is repentance turning from that which you were and walk in a different direction from which you came! True Repentances will show forth fruits, which are works worthy of repentances as told by Paul Himself in Ac.26:19-20But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance. These are by the works (fruits) our Lord Jesus will reward us for in His Kingdom, Rev.22:1-21!

Jesus began to preach in Mt.4:17 repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand! Jesus is that eternal life given to all mankind (Jn.6:44-71)! His words of truth are for us to receive Him and worship Him in spirit of His word and in truth by obedience to His word! Lev.19:37Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am the LORD! Notice Jesus has told us the same unequivocal thing; to His addresses, to His Statutes, Sayings and Precepts, Ordinances and Judgments, in the beatitudes of Mt.5: through chapter 7:27 anyone who heareth not these saying of mine and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man: which built his house upon the sand: 27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. 28And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: 29For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Mt.5:17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. (Prophets)

Prophétés: a prophet (an interpreter or forth-teller of the divine will)

Original Word: προφήτης, ου, ὁ
Part of Speech: Noun, Masculine
Transliteration: prophétés
Phonetic Spelling: (prof-ay’-tace)
Short Definition: a prophet, poet
Definition: a prophet, poet; a person gifted at expositing divine truth.

Cognate: 4396 prophtēs (from 4253 /pró, “beforehand” and 5346 /phēmí, “elevating/asserting one idea over another, especially through the spoken-word”) – properly, one who speaks forth by the inspiration of God; a prophet. See 4394 (prophēteia).

A prophet (4396 /prophtēs) declares the mind (message) of God, which sometimes predicts the future (foretelling) – and more commonly, speaks forth His message for a particular situation. 4396 /prophtēs (“a prophet”) then is someone inspired by God to foretell or tell-forth (forthtell) the Word of God. Or has a testimony from God what God has done for him and to him, Ac.11:18 see the story of Cornelius ac.10:1-, 11:1-18!

Think not that I have come to destroy the Law or the Prophets:  Mt.5:18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. (Mt.24:35!)

Evidences of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit Ac.11:1-*17*-18

When they had received the baptism of the Holy Spirit; they did speak with other tongues and did prophecy! He has given them not only a testimony but also the ability to know what thus sayeth the Lord our God! Ac.2:*1-4* see also 26-*38-40*ffs to verse 47; 10:1-*36-48* and 19:1-*5 and 6*-7! A Prophet is one that speaks the mind of our Lord God by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit drawing them into all truths! He is able to foretell and to tellforth what thus sayeth the Lord our God! Those who have been truly born again should have these abilities for the gifts of our Great God are without repentance, Ro.11:29 and are from the Father of lights (Jn.12:45-50) which are from above as James speaks in Jm.1:16Do not err, my beloved brethren. 17Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above I (Jn.6:62), and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

My Ordination from Jesus Himself!

For I could not tell if I went to Him, Jesus our Lord God or He came to me in a dream: He told me I was to know the heart of the matter and the truth of the thing and I was to bring forth his true definition to all, that He would revel to me: And I told the Lord, who am I that they will believe me? He told me that He had chosen me to bring forth His mind and to bring His words to His people; He said, for My people will hear your words and know that I have spoken them unto you; by My words I will give you to tell them. For My children know My voice and they have heard My words and the words that have come from Me from the beginning for I change not! Those that hear my words are of God, for this reason, those of this world will not receive or hear them and they will not hear you: This is how you shall tell the righteous from the unrighteous. They of this world cannot not receive My words, for they are of the world and will never obey My words because they cannot bear them: For they are servants of this world and the children of its master, the devil!

Therefore this is how you may discern the spirits of truth and of a lie. Whosoever doeth My words are those who shall have eternal life with their Lord.

For there are many today who say they are called by My name but they prove over and over again who they really serve by their speech, for it does not line up with their actions: These are those who profess a religious conversion: But they have not My Spirit living in them or they would be about My words of life and would bear My fruit as that which I bore unto all the world. I have told you that you would do greater things than I have done while I was with you! My people who are My bride will be about all that I have said to do in My word to you! For My people are working as I have told My disciples to do, for you must abide in Me and My word for we are one! This is the truth of the matter and the heart of the thing, for my children will press into all scriptures and not leave one thing undone because My Love for them have I put in their heart and they cannot get enough of Me or My Word; for it is their life and it is by which their treasures are being built in My Kingdom. For Where your heart is, is to whom you will serve; some to everlasting contempt and a few will be to everlasting life; Thus sayeth the Lord!

Just as I have told My Apostles before their conversion, I have many more things to say to you but you cannot bear them now. You must come to Me with a revival spirit that is renewed daily unto Me! For it is I only who can redeem you unto Myself and it is by My word that I bring to you My Ordained and Anointed ones! Only they in these last days will speak My heart unto you and it will be the same heart that brought you all scripture; by which your everlasting souls are called to hear and obey!

Therefore keep unto My Word for they are your life unto you! My Prophets of Old are as they of this day, you will know them for their words that they speak will not forsake the word that you already have been fed for it is the bread of life unto you; it is the cup of My Spirit that will forever live in My people who are called by, My name; for they obey My Word!

The people of this world hear the voices of them who speak of themselves and this world heareth them.

The words I have spoken unto you while I was with you are the same as I gave unto My children in the wilderness and My children will press into these Holy Things, just as I am Holy My children of any age are Holy! They must walk before Me and be perfect as I am perfect. This is how My Grace that I have poured out will be recognized, for My children draw closer to Me and I will draw closer to them so that they may operate in My Spirit; with signs, miracles, and wonders, for they truly bear My name with aw and reverend fear, these are My people who speak My word and do it! For this reason have I poured out My Spirit on all flesh in these last days so that My Grace which is My revelation to you in My word that are of Me and My Ways for you to know My Will for you, that you may have the power to live above this world and its sin and wickedness for it is continually evil and is this way till the end that I will come and judge it for its iniquities, for they leave out and add to My word what I have said and what I have not said; to their own destruction! I will come quickly and avenge My own but will I find faith when I return? Those that do My sayings are these who have proven their faith to Me and I will reward ever man for his works; therefore lay up in heaven all thy treasures for that is where your heart shall be one with Mine!

My Children to know My word for you and to do it is to know My love for you! For My servants who do as I have instructed; are those who admonish you. I have sent them to chastise you with My word for it is life unto you; Those who Keep My word and separate themselves from the actions of this wicked world are My Ordained Servants who I have Ordained for you, not man! For My Ordained will not turn to the right hand or the left but will keep their eyes only unto Me and My Word for you! Thus sayeth the LORD of the host: Consider your way and to My Church consider your ways also and do the first works before I come and take your candle stick out of his place, therefore repent and do the first works, for you have fallen remember from where you have fallen, I say again repent, consider your ways thus sayeth the LORD! Fear not them who can only kill the body, but I say fear Me who can divide and cut asunder body, soul, and spirit: for all spirits will return unto Me from whence they have come. I alone redeem and I alone cast out into outer darkness and there will be gnashing of teeth.

There is a fire being kindled in My heart for all those who heed not My words and great destruction lies ahead for those of disobedience to My Words of Eternal Life or Eternal Death to those who are contentious and disobedient to My every word, therefore thus sayeth your God; Consider your ways and complete My instructions to you from My Ordained Apostles that I have given you in My Holy Word that you call your Holy Bible for every word in it I have given you for your eternal salvation and only those who are found doing this word of Mine are written in My Book of Life! Therefore thus sayeth your Lord God consider your ways! Look upon your actions and compare them to Me for I Am the Way, I Am your Truth. And I Am your Eternal Life, therefore heed My warnings unto you; Bring forth works worthy of repentance as My Apostle Paul has done and instructed you to do; Be ye an imitator of My Apostles for this reason I have given them to you!

Why should I therefore cause My children; the children of the world I have created come to nothing? Why should My children be destroyed who call themselves by My name and yet do not what I have instructed them to do? They are destroyed for lack of knowledge and Understanding! Is this not what I have had My prophets of old to tell you, for I have instructed Hosea to tell you these things, were they not written, did not my Son of man Ezekiel tell the same to you also, that if you did not send forth into those who I have told you to go, that their blood be upon your soul as I have instructed the Apostles also to take this word to your own children and to the world and to all nations, When all nations receive this word I will come and judge it but My word must be preached to all nations and then the end will come that I have forewarned you of! For what I have spoken will be done! For you will stand before Me and give an account of yourself and as to why you could not abide in My Will for you! Take heed and listen therefore to My prophet for he has My words of Life for you! If you do not abide in Me, I will and I must send you to that place I have prepared before the foundation of time, the place of no return, you will be forever tormented in the Lake of Fire, where the worm dieth not and you are the fuel of My wrath for as My great love for you, I have the same grate hate for your sins! Your sin must leave you before I can receive you to Myself! As Great as I Love you I must plead for your souls, your spirit which is your life will return to Me from whence it came but I will have no part of your eternal soul unto Me until it is sanctified, consecrated, proven, and tested in the fire of tribulations and found to be pure and Godly, Holy, as I Am Holy! So must you be also, Have not I so instructed you in My word?

My Love for you is simplistic; as for My Commandments, do them or reap what you sow! If you Love Me you would have kept My Commandments and pressed into them by My indwelling Spirit in You! For My Spirit is My Truths and My Spirit would lead you down the narrow path that no mortal man can walk, it must be and can only be walked on by a supernatural man who has My Spirit; which has My Will in him leading you in the direction I have for only you to go! It is your path that I must bring you down to Me who is your gate to forever!

The path I have for you may be as those who have gone on before you, but you must adhere to My directions for you, for they are not for anyone else. Many are on the same path as you but they have different turns at different places I need them to go! My Word and My Spirit will show you what it is you must do for me and My Kingdom, for there is work for you to do here on earth as it is done in heaven! I have warned all My children be not as My children that is called by My name Israel, for because of disbelief they will face a fire here on earth that I wish on none of My children called by My prophet Jeremiah and it is even the times of Jacob’s troubles; for only My children of the seed of Abraham will escape these days! All else will fall by the way!

I am soon to come for a people who have made themselves ready for their King and Groom and have heeded unto My Word! She will be pleasing to look upon, for I have adorned Her with My Righteousness, My Holiness, and My Godliness; for she will be forever without spot or wrinkle for I have found her to be blameless before My eyes! For only she has kept to her King’s Words and is found Herself approved of by Him! This My Children is the Love that I Am requiring of all My people who say I Am A Christian! They will not have to prove it to Me for I will see the scars that they received from the people of this untoward generation; a vile generation as those of Joshua who kept not My covenant with them for they did not remove the vile children of the Canaanites, when they were released to go into their own lands; that I gave them. For they did not instruct their children in the ways of their LORD God, the captain of the hosts! They did as it is this day, they have raised up a generation who knows not their God and to have a fear of Him! As it is this day also! For this child of today has a new doctrine of the worldly wise that is not of Me! For they preach today that I will make a way for all to come to Me; before the day of My wrath and this is not so! I have given you all that is available to come to Me if a man’s heart is right before Me I will receive him and pour out My Spirit in him and I will be one with him and he with me. I Am the LORD your GOD and My Word is faithful and true; shall I not keep it to a Righteous Man? One who I have found Holy and true, shall I such as I Am, not do what I said I would do? Yes and even more so also than this for I Am, The Almighty God!

Many are called through every age but few will be My chosen! Only those who have died to self and picked up their cross and have followed after Me are those who are My chosen, for only they are worthy of Me because they have spoken only what I have given them to speak! You have heard these things I have given My prophet to be written unto you. Heed My Word for He speaks not of Himself but that which is in the heart of the thing and the Truth of the Matter which I the Lord of the hosts has given to him for your salvation! Seek Me and My Holy Scriptures, abide in them and you abide in Me: I will come and receive those who abide in Me and My Word only will I receive: Therefore My Children Consider Your Ways for My eyes run to and fro looking for that one which does right according to My Holy Scriptures for they are your statues from Me! Thus sayeth the Lord your God!

These things I have written for your consideration and it is up to you to determine if they are from our Lord or not! I have given them to you as closely as I can so that it is not of me but of Him! He confirmed it to Me in a book I opened up to read that He led me to on my book shelf; it was a book of Charles Spurgeon’s Sermons and I opened it up to this Sermon for confirmation of what I have given you for your consideration:

Sermon IV

The Fruitless Vine

“and the word of the Lord came unto me, saying Son of man, What is the vine-tree more than any tree, or than a branch which is among the trees of the forest?”—Ezekiel, xv.1, 2.

The Jewish nation had arrogant ideas of themselves; when they sinned against God, they supposed that on account of the superior sanctity of their fore fathers, or by reason of some special sanctity in themselves, they would be delivered, sin as they pleased. In consequence of the infinite mercy of Jehovah, which he had displayed toward them, in delivering them out of so many distresses, they gradually came to imagine that they were the favorite children of Providence, and that God could by no means ever cast them away. God, therefore, in order to humble their pride, tells them that they in themselves were nothing more than any other nation; and he asks them what there was about them to recommend them? “I have often called you a vine; I have planted you, and nurtured you in a very fruitful hill, but now you bring forth no fruit; what is there in you why I should continue you in my favor? If you imagine there is anything about you more that about any other nation, you’re mightily mistaken”. “What is the vine-tree more than any tree, or than a branch which is among the trees of the forest?”

Let us remember that these things might be said without implying that God in the least degree alters his eternal purpose toward any chosen vessel of mercy; for the Israelitish nation was not chosen to eternal salvation, as a nation, but chosen to special privileges; a type and shadow of the eternal person election which Christ has given to his church. From his own elect church God will never withdrawn his love; but from the outward visible church he sometimes may. From his own people he never will take away his affections but from professors, from those who merely stand in his people’s external condition, and are not his children, he may, yea, and he will, withdraw every token of his favor. God humbles Israel, by reminding them that they have nothing which other nations had not; that, in fact, they were a contemptible nation, not worthy to be set side by side with the cedar of Babylon, or with the oak of Samaria; they were of no use, they were worthless, unless they brought forth fruit to him. He checks their pride and humbles them, with the parable we have here before us.

Beloved, we shall, by God’s help, use this parable for ourselves, and learn from it. The first shall be a lesson on humility for saints; and second, a lesson of searching for all who are professors.

   I. First, here is A Lesson of Humility for all you who have “tasted that the Lord is gracious.” “What is the vine-tree more than any tree, or branch which is among the trees of the forest?”

In looking upon all the various trees, we observe that the vine is distinguishable among them; so that, in the old parable of Jotham (reference to Judges9:1-21), the trees waited upon the vine-tree, and said unto it “Come thou and reign over us.” But merely looking at the vine, without regard to its fruitfulness, we should not see any kingship in it over the other trees. In size, form or beauty, or utility, it has not the slightest advantage. We can do nothing with the wood of the vine. “shall wood be taken thereof to do any work? Or will men make a pin of it to hang any vessel thereon?” It is useless plant apart from its fruitfulness. We sometimes see it in beauty, trained up by the side of our walls, and in the east it might be seen in all luxuriance, and great care is bestowed in its training; but leave the vine to itself, and consider it apart from its fruitfulness, it is the most insignificant and despicable of all the things that bear the name of trees. Now beloved this is humbling of God’s people. They are called God’s vine; but what are they; yea, some others are even greater and better than they. They, by God’s goodness, have become fruitful, have been planted in a good soil; the Lord hath trained them upon the walls of the sanctuary, and they bring forth fruit to his glory. But what are they without their God? What are they without the continual influence of the Holy Spirit, begetting fruitfulness in them? Are they not the least among the sons of men, and the most to be despised of those that have been brought forth of women? Look upon this, believer.

“What was there in thee to merit esteem,

Or give the Creator delight?”

Yea, look upon thyself as thou art now. Doth not thy conscience reproach thee? Do not thy thousands wanderings stand before thee, and tell thee that thou art unworthy to be called his son? Does not the weakness of thy mental power, the frailty of thy moral power, thy continual unbelief, and thy perpetual backsliding from God, tell thee that thou art less than the least of the all the saints? And if he hath made thee anything, art thou not thereby taught that it is grace, free, sovereign grace, which hath made thee to differ? Should any here, supposing themselves to be the children of God, imagine that there is some reason in them why they should have been chosen, let them know, that as yet they are in the dark concerning the first principles of grace, and have not yet learned the gospel. If ever they had known the gospel, they would, on the other hand, confess that they were less than the least  the offscouring of all things  unworthy, ill-deserving, undeserving, and hell-deserving, and ascribe it all to distinguishing grace, which has made them to differ; and to discriminating love, which has chosen them out from the rest of the world. Great Christian, thou wouldest have been a great sinner if God had not made thee to differ. O! thou who art valiant for truth, thou wouldest have been as valiant for the devil if grace had not laid hold of thee. A seat in heaven shall one day be thine; but a chain in hell would have been thine if grace had not changed thee. Thou canst now sing his love; but a licentious song might have been on thy lips, if grace had not washed thee in the blood of Jesus. Thou art now sanctified, thou art quickened, thou art justified; but what wouldst thou have been to-day if it had not been for the interposition of the divine hand? There is not a crime thou mightest not have committed; there is not a folly into which thou mightest not have run. Even murder itself thou mightest have committed if grace had not kept thee. Thou shalt be like the angels; but thou wouldst have been like the devil if thou hadst not been changed by grace. Therefore, never be proud; all thy garments thou hast from above; rags were thine only heritage. Be not proud, though thou hast a large estate, a wide domain of grace; thou hadst once not a single thing to call thine own, except thy sin and misery. Thou art now wrapped up in the golden righteousness of the Saviour, and accepted in the garments of the beloved; but thou wouldst have been buried under the black mountain of sin, and clothed with the filthy rags of unrighteousness, if he had not changed thee. And art thou proud? Dost thou exalt thyself? O! strange mystery, that thou, who hast borrowed everything, should exalt thyself; that thou, who hast nothing of thine own, but hast still to draw upon grace, shouldest be proud; a poor dependent pensioner upon the bounty of thy Saviour, and yet proud; one who hath a life which can only live by fresh streams of life from Jesus, and yet proud! Go, hang thy pride upon the gallows, as high as Haman; hang it there to rot, and stand thou beneath, and execrate it to all eternity; for sure of all things most to be cursed and despised is the pride of a Christian. He, of all men, has ten thousand times more reason than any other to be humble, and walk lowly with his God, and kindly and humbly toward his fellow-creatures. Let this, then, humble thee, Christian, that the vine-tree is nothing more than any other tree, save only for the fruitfulness which God has given it.

II. But now here comes A LESSON OF SEARCH. As the vine without its fruit is useless and worthless; so, too, the professor, without fruit, is useless and worthless; yea, he is the most useless thing in the wide world.

Now, let us dwell upon this point. A fruitless profession: And while I am preaching on it, let the words go round to each one, and let the minister, and let his deacons, and let his hearers all try their hearts and search their reins, and see whether they have a fruitless profession.

1. First, a fruitless professor. How do we know him? What is his character? Secondly: What is the reason he is fruitless? Thirdly: What is the estimation God holds him in? He is good for nothing at all. And, then, fourthly: What will be his end? He is to be burned with fire.

First: Where are we to find fruitless professors? Everywhere, dear friends, everywhere—down here, up there, everywhere; in pulpits and in pews. False professors are to be found in every church. Let us leave other denominations alone, then. They are to be found in this church; they are to be found in this present assembly. To whatever denomination you belong, there are some false and fruitless professors in it. How know you that you may not belong to those who bring forth no fruit? There are fruitless professors to be found in every position of the church, and in every part of society. You may find the false professor among the rich; he hath much wealth, and he is hailed with gladness by the church. God hath given him much of this world’s good; and therefore, the church, forgetful that God hath chosen the poor, giveth him honor, and what doth she get from him? She getteth but little to help her. Her poor are still neglected, and her means not in the least recruited by his riches. Or if she gain a portion of his riches, yet she getteth none of his prayers; nor is she in the least supported by his holy living, for he that hath riches often liveth in sin, and rolleth in uncleanness; and, then, weareth his profession as a uniform, wherewith to cover his guilt. Rich men have sometimes been false professors; and they are to be found among poor men too. Full many a poor man has entered into the church, and been cordially received. He has been poor, and they have thought it a good thing that poverty and grace should go together—that grace should cheer his hovel, and make his poverty-stricken home a glad one. But then, this poor man hath turned aside to follies, and hath degraded himself with drunkenness, hath sworn, and by unworthy conduct dishonored his God; or, if not, he hath been idle, and sat still, and been of little service to the church; and so he hath been false and fruitless in his profession.

False professors are to be found in the men that lead the vanguard of God’s army; the men who preach eloquently, whose opinion is law, who speak like prophets, and whose language seems to be inspired. They have brought forth the fruit of popularity, ay, and the fruit of philanthropy too, but their heart has not been right with God, therefore, the fruit, good in itself, was not fruit unto holiness; the moral benefit of their labors does not extend to everlasting life. They have not brought forth the fruits of the Spirit, seeing that they were not living branches of the living vine. Then there have been false professors in obscurity; modest people, who have said nothing, and seldom been heard of; they have glided into their pews on the Sunday morning, taken their seats, gone out, and satisfied themselves that by their presence they had fulfilled a religious duty. They have been so silent, quiet, and retired: Lazy fellows, doing nothing. You may think that all the fruitless trees grow in the hedge outside of the garden. No they don’t. There are some fruitless trees in the inside of it in the very center of it. There are some false professors to be found in obscurity as well as in publicity; some among the poor as well as among the rich.

And there are false professors to be found among men that doubt a great deal. They are always afraid they do not love Jesus, and always saying, “Ah, if I did but know I were his!

“‘Tis a point I long to know,

Oft it causes anxious thought.”

Yes, and it ought to cause them anxious thought, too, if they are bringing forth no fruit and giving no “diligence to make their calling and election sure.” Fruitless professors are to be found, on the other hand, among the confident men, who say, without a blush, “I know whom I have believed; I know I am a Christian, let who will doubt. I am sure and certain my sins cannot destroy me, and my righteousness cannot save me. I may do what I like; I know I am one of the Lord’s.” Ah! Fruitless professor again; just as fruitless as the other man, who had all doubts and no faith, and did nothing for his Master.

And then there is the fruitless professor, who, when he is asked to pray at the prayer meeting, never does so; and who neglects family prayer. We will not say anything about private devotion; no doubt he neglects that too: he is a fruitless one. Ah! but there may be another, who stands up and prays such an eloquent prayer for a quarter of an hour, perhaps, just as fruitless a professor as the silent one; with plenty of words, but no realities; many leaves, but no fruits; great gifts of utterance, but no gifts of consistency; able to talk well, but not to walk well; to speak piously, but not to walk humbly with his God, and serve him with gladness. I do not know your individual characters; but I know enough of you to say that your position, however honorable in the church, and your character, however fair before men, is not enough to warrant any of you in concluding at once that you are not a fruitless professor. For fruitless professors are of every character and every rank, from the highest to the lowest, from the most talented to the most illiterate, from the richest to the poorest, from the most retiring to the most conspicuous. Fruitless professors there are in every part of the church.

Now, shall I tell you who is a fruitless professor? The man who neglects private prayer, and does not walk with his God in public; that man whose carriage and conversation before God are hypocritical; who cheats in trade and robs in business, yet wraps it up, and comes out with a fair face, like the hypocrite with a widow’s house sticking in his throat, and says, “Lord, I thank thee I am not as other men are!” There is a man for you, who brings forth no fruit to perfection. Another one is he who lives right morally and excellently, and depends upon his works, and hopes to be saved by his righteousness; who comes before God, and asks for pardon, with a lie in his right hand, for he has brought his own self-righteousness with him. Such a man is a fruitless professor; he has brought forth no fruit. That man, again, is a fruitless professor who talks big words about high doctrine, and likes sound truth, but he does not like sound living; his pretensions are high, but not his practice. He can bear to hear it said,

“Once in Christ,

in Christ forever.”

But as for himself, he never was in Christ at all, for he neither loves nor serves his Master, but lives in sin that grace may abound. There is another fruitless vine for you.

But why need I stop to pick you out? May the Lord find you out to-night! There are many of you here, concerning whom the curse of Meroz might be uttered. “Curse ye Meroz, said the angel of the Lord, curse ye bitterly the inhabitants thereof, because they came not to the help of the Lord; to the help of the Lord against the mighty (Judg5:23).” Many of you are content to eat the fat and drink the sweet, and bring forth no fruit to God; nor do you serve him—lazy Issachars, crouching down like a strong ass between two burdens, (Gen.49:14-15); neither speaking for Christ; nor praying for Christ, nor giving to Christ, nor living to Christ; but having a name to live, while you are dead; wrapping yourselves up in a profession, while you are not living to Christ, nor consecrating your being to him. Judge ye what I say; if ye were put into the sieve this night, how many of you would come out clean in this matter? Are there not many high-flying professors here, who fly high, but who do nothing; who can talk fast, but live as slowly as you like; who, perhaps, delight in hearing the truth, but who never practice the truth in serving their God, nor living to his honor? Such as you, sirs, are the most useless and worthless of all creatures in the world! For, like the vine, you would be honorable if you were fruitful; but without fruit, as the vine is despicable, so are you good for nothing but to be cast out and burned.

2. And now I come to the second question—Why is it that these men are fruitless, and must be cast away? The reason is, because they have no roots. Many, many professors have no roots; fine professors they are, beautiful to look at, but they have no roots whatever. Don’t you remember your childish freak, when you had a little garden of your own; when you plucked some flowers, and put them in the ground, and said that was your garden; and when you went the next day, and found that all the flowers were withered and dead? Such are many professors—pretty flowers, plucked off without roots; having no adherence to the soil, drawing no sap and no nourishment from it. And therefore it is they die, and bring forth no fruit. You come to us; and say, “I wish to join the church.” We question you as far as we are able; you solemnly tell us that your hearts are right with God. We baptize you, receive you into our number; but then there was no root in many of you, and after a while you die; when the sun has risen with a burning heat you perish; or if you maintain a tolerably fair profession, yet there is never any fruit upon you, because you did not get the root first; you got this notion first, and then thought you would get the root afterward. I do tremble for many young people in my church—I will not exclude my own church. They get an idea into their heads that they are converted: the work was not true, not genuine, not real; it was an excitement; it was a stir in the conscience for a while, and it will not last. But the worst of it is, that though it does not last, they last as professors. When they have been received into the church, they say, “I am sure enough!” Preach about them as long as you please, you cannot get at them. They are church members, they are baptized persons, they have passed the Rubicon; what do they want more? You can do little for them. I do tremble for these. For my most hard-hearted hearers I weep before God; but for these people I need to have four eyes to weep with. For who can make an impression upon them, when they are firmly persuaded that they are right, and have had the seal of the church that they are right, though they are deceiving themselves and others, and are still “in the gall of bitterness and in the bond of iniquity (Ac.8:18-24).” My young friends, I do not want to check any of you in joining a church; but I do say to you, make sure work before you make a profession (Lk.14:25-35). I would say to as many of you as love the Lord, come forward and unite with God’s people; but, I beseech you, do be sure; do “search you hearts and try your reins (Jer.17:10).” Many have thought themselves converted when they were not; hundreds of thousands have had an impression, a kind of conversion, not real, which for a while endured, but afterward it passed away as summer’s dream. It was but a little while ago that I had in my house a gentleman, an excellent man, and I believe a true child of God, who told me he had been brought seriously under impression, on account of sin, through hearing a sermon of late: “But,” said he, “I was baptized in my childhood. When I was but young, there was a revival in our village, in New England. Mine was the hardest heart in the village; but I was found out at last. There was scarcely a girl or boy that did not join the church, and I was at last brought under deep impression. I used to weep before God, and pray to him. I went to the minister and told him I was converted, deceived him, and was baptized.” And then he went on to tell me that he had dived into the blackest crimes, and gone far away, even from the profession of religion; that after going to college he had been struck off the church-roll on account of wickedness, and that up to this time he had been an infidel, and had not so much as thought of the things of the kingdom. Take heed, many of you, that you do not get a sham religion. Many jump out of it again, when they find the world pays them better (2 Pt.2:18-22). And many there are who will just come and say they are the Lord’s, and they think they are, but there is no root in them, and therefore by-and-by their impressions pass away. O we have many fruitless professors in our midst, because they do not look well to their beginnings; they did not take heed at their starting point, they did not watch well the first dawn; they thought the little farthing rushlight of their own hopes was the dawning of the Sun of righteousness; they thought the bleeding of their own conscience was a killing by the hand of God, whereas it was a deeper, and better and surer, and more entire work that they needed, than that which they received. Let us take heed, my brethren, that we do not put too much trust in our experiences, and take too much for granted while it is not yet proved in our beginnings; let us often go back and begin again; let us often go to Christ with the old cry,

“Nothing in my hands I bring,

Simply to thy cross I cling;

“For remember that these bad beginnings have had a great effect in making a man fruitless.

3. And again, thirdly—What is God’s estimation of fruitless professors? I shall not ask you their own; for there are many men who are professors of religion, with whom you might make your fortune very speedily if you could buy them at your price and sell them at their own. There are many, too, that have a very good opinion of themselves, which they have gained from the church. The minister thinks well of them; the church thinks well of them; they are respectable people; it is so nice to have them come, it helps the cause so, to see such respectable people sitting in the pews! Really, I do think he would do for a deacon! Everybody thinks well of him. Now we have nothing to do with this kind of opinion to-night; our business is with God’s opinion of such a man. And God’s opinion of a man, who makes a profession without being sincere, is this—that he is the most useless thing in the world. And now let me try to prove it. Is there any one that will prove that this man is of any use at all? I will ask the church—Here is a man that brings forth no fruit, and has only a profession: Members of the church, what is the use of this man? Will he comfort any of you in your distress? Will he hold up the pastor’s hands in prayer, when he is weary? Will he lead the troops to battle? Will he be of any service to you? I see you unanimously lift up your hands, and say, “The man is of no use to us whatever, if he brings forth no fruit; if his life be not consistent with his profession; strike his name off the church-roll; let him go; he is of no use.” Where has he gone to? He has gone to the world. Bring the worldling up. What do you think of this man? He makes a profession of religion. Is he of any use to you? “No,” they say, “we do not want such a fellow as that. The man is Jack-of-both-sides; he is sometimes a professor of religion, and sometimes a sinner in the world. We will have nothing to do with him; turn him out of our company.” Where shall we sell him then? How shall we dispose of him? He seems to be of no use either to the church or the world. Is he of any use to his family? Ask his eldest son. “John, is your father any good to you?” “No, sir; none at all. He used to pray the Lord to save us with seeming earnestness, and rise from his knees to give vent to his temper. Many a violent blow has he given me without any reasonable provocation. He was always a passionate man. He used to go to chapel on Sunday and take us with him and then we know what he used to do on Monday; he would get drunk, or swear. A deal of use he was ever to me! He made me an infidel, sir!” And his wife, “Well, what do you think of this good husband of yours? He has long made a profession of religion.” “Ah! sir, it is not for me to say a word about my husband; but he has made me a miserable woman. I think I should have joined your church long ago, if it had not been for his miserable inconsistencies. But really he has grieved my heart; he has always been a stumbling-block to me; and what to do with him I do not know.” Well, Jane, we will have you our of the kitchen. “What think you of your master; he makes a profession of religion, yet does not live a right life. What do you think of him?” “Well, I did think that Christians were a good sort of people, and that I should like to live with them; but if this be Christianity, sir, I will take five pounds a year less to live with a worldly man; that’s all I can say.” Well, what is the use of him? I suppose he does something in business. He is a grand professor. He keeps a shop; everybody thinks him a most respectable man. Has he not given a hundred pounds just now to the building of a new church? Is he not always known to subscribe liberally to ragged schools? We will ask his men. “What do you think of your master?” “What do we think of him? Why, we would think a great deal more of him if he would give us a half-crown a week more wages; for he is the worst paymaster in the parish.” “That is nothing, perhaps. But what do you think of him?” “Why, that he is an unutterable cant! Some of us did go to a place of worship, but we are honest, and we would rather stay away than go with such a miserable hypocrite.” I am describing real cases and not fictions. I need not to go further than between this and London Bridge to knock at the door and wake them up, some of them. What is the good of such professors? If they would speak fairly out, and say, “I am no Christian,” there would be some sense in it. For if Baal be God, let Baal be served; and if the world be worth serving, let a man serve it out and out; and let him get the credit of candor—not cheating the devil. But if God be God and a man live in sin, and talk about grace, then of what use is he? God himself will disown him. Ask him if this man has been of any use, and he replies, “No, of no use whatever.” The vine is of no use unless it bring forth fruit; and this man, making a profession, is worse than worthless, because he does not live up to it. My dear friends, I would not say an extravagant thing, but I will say this very coolly—if any of you, who make a profession of religion, are deceiving others, by not living up to it, I do request you—and I say it advisedly—I do request you to give up your profession, unless God give you grace to live up to it. Do not, I beseech you, halt between two opinions; if God be God, serve him, and do it thoroughly; do not tell lies about it. If Baal be God; if he be a nice master; if you would like to serve him, and win his wages, serve him; but do not mix the two together; be one thing, or else the other. Renounce your profession, and serve the devil thoroughly, or else keep your profession, and serve God with your heart—one thing, or else the other. I solemnly exhort you to choose which you will have, but never think that you can keep both; for “no man can serve two masters.” “Ye cannot serve God and mammon (Lk.16:13).”
4. And now let me close up by mentioning what is to become of this fruitless tree? We are told it is to be devoured in the fire (Jn.15:6). When an old vine is pulled off the wall, after having brought forth no fruit, what becomes of it? You know there is a lot of weeds raked up in the corner of the garden, and the gardener, without taking any notice of it, just throws the vine on the heap of weeds, and it is burned up (Mk.9:33-50; Mk.8:35-38). If it were any other kind of a tree he would at least reserve it for chopping up to make a fire within the master’s house; but this is much an ignominious thing, he throws it away in the corner and burns it up with the weeds. If it were a stout old oak, it might have the funeral of the yule log, with honor in its burning, and brightness in its flame; but the fruitless vine is treated with contempt, and left to smoulder with the weeds, the refuse, and rubbish. It is a miserable thing. Just so with professors; all men that love not God must perish (Mt.22:35-40; Mk.12:29ffs.). But those who profess to love him, and do not, shall perish with singular ignominy. “They shall not come into the sepulchres of the kings (Jer.16:4).” Something like the ancient king, of whom it was said, “He shall be buried with the burial of an ass, drawn and cast forth beyond the gates of Jerusalem.” The damnation of a professor will be the most horrible and ignominious sight that ever hell itself has seen! When Satan fell from heaven, with his black Satanic malice against God, there was a kind of grandeur in his devilry; there was an awful, terrific sublimity in his damnation; and when a great blasphemer and a hard swearer shall be sent at last to perdition, there shall be something of sublimity in it, because he has been consistent with his profession. But when a professor of religion finds himself in hell, it shall be the most miserable, contemptible, and yet terrible mode of damnation wherewith men were ever damned. I think I see honest blasphemers lifting themselves from their chains of fire, and hissing between their teeth at the minister who comes there, after having been a deceiver—”Aha! aha! aha! art thou here with us? Thou didst warn us of our drunkenness, and tell us of our curse; ah! art thou come into the drunkard’s hell thyself?” “Pshaw!” says another, “that is your strict Pharisee. Ah! I remember how he told me one night that I should perish, unless I made a profession of religion. Take that, sir!” and he spits upon him. “Thou art a loathsome thing. I perished; but I served my master well. Thou—thou didst pretend to serve God, and yet thou art a sneaking hypocrite!” Says another, yelling from the corner of the pit, “Let us have a Methodist hymn, sir; quote a promise from the Bible; tell us about election. Let us have a little of your fine preaching now.” And round hell there goes the hiss, and the “aha! aha! aha!” and the yell of spitefulness and scorn upon the man who professed to be a Christian, but became a castaway, because his heart was not right in the matter. I confess, I should dread above all things the unutterable hell of hells of hypocritical apostates, of men that stand in the ranks, profess to love God, prate godliness, that sit in the pews and uphold Christianity, that take the sacrament, and speak about communion, that stand up to pray, and talk about being heard for their faith, who are all the while committing abominations, and under cover of their professions are cheating the poor, robbing the fatherless, and doing all kinds of iniquity (Mt.7:13-23; Lk.6:46). I confess, I as much dread the excess of their damnation, above the damnation of others, as I dread to be damned at all. It is as if in hell another hell had been made, to damn those that sin above others, to damn them after being damned—for hypocrites, for men who have been with us, and not of us; who professed to be Christ’s, and yet have been mean deceivers after all. O! sirs, if ye would not make your chains more heavy, if ye would not stir the fire to a more furious heat, if ye would not make your yells more hideous, quit your professions this night, if ye are not worthy of them. Go out of this place, and send in your resignation to the church; or else, sirs, be honest, and bend your knee before God, and ask him to search you, and try you, and make you sincere and upright before him. Be one thing, or else the other; do not cloak yourself in the robes of sanctity to hide the corruptions that all the while fester beneath. Stand out, bold, brave sinners; and do not be mean, sneaking sinners, that wear the masks of saints. “What is the vine more than any other tree?” Without fruit it is worse than any other. It must perish more dolefully, more horribly than any other, if there be on it no fruit brought to perfection. Does not this shake us? Ah! it will shake you, very likely, that do not want the shaking; but the men that want arousing will keep just as they were. It will go into the hearts of some of you, like the cry, “Howl, Moab, howl, Moab (Jer48:1-47)!” but alas! Moab will not howl. You will weep for Kirhareseth but Kirhareseth will not weep for herself. You will weep for your hypocritical friends; but they will rub their eyes, and say, “A strong sermon; but it has nothing to do with me.” And they will go out with cool presumption; sin with one hand, and take the sacramental cup with the other; sing the lascivious song one night, and then sing,

“Jesus, lover of my soul,”

the day after. Meet Christ here, and take the devil yonder, and bid him God speed in all his freaks of devilry. Ah! sirs, sirs, sirs, take heed, take heed, I beseech you, of this matter. Let us each search our hearts, lest we should have been deceived. And may God bring us to a right understanding in this matter, that we may be clear before him. “Search me, O God, and know my ways; try me, and know my thoughts, and see if there be any wicked thing in me; and lead me in the way everlasting (Ps.139:23-24).”

And, now, I must not send you away until I have had a word with my friend in the aisle there. He says, “I like that, I like that; I am no professor, I am not; I am all right. No one can call me a hypocrite.” Well, my dear friend, I am very glad you are not, because you say you are no Christian. But let me tell you, you must not expect to be a wonderful deal the better off for that. Suppose two men are brought up before the Lord Mayor, and one says, “Your worship, I am an honest man and not guilty;” and he blushes that an imputation should be cast on his character. Well, he is proved to be guilty, and gets committed to prison for three months. Up comes the other one, and says, “Your worship, I am a guilty man; I always was a rogue, and I always shall be; I don’t make a profession at all.” “I think I must give you six months,” says his worship, “for really I think you must be the more determined rascal of the two.” So if any of you say, “I don’t make a profession, I shall be all right,” let me tell you, that to make a lying profession is a very fearful thing; but for you to think of getting off because you make no profession at all, is equally bad. Take heed you do not deceive yourselves; it must be the new heart and the right spirit with God, or else, profession or no profession, we must perish. O! that God would give us grace to go to our houses, and cry to him for mercy, and would help us to repent of our sins, and bring us to put our trust simply and wholly upon the Lord Jesus Christ! So should we be saved now, and saved for ever. The End!

You see the Lord uses many things to bring us a word in our daily lives if only we care to seek Him and His ways for they are not grievous to us who are His elect! We find joy in the master’s ways, for they should bring us delight to know that we are not only pleasing to ourselves but mostly to His continual praise to His servants who are called by His name; for He does bestow great grace on us for His favour to show this world a right way in which they should go! We are to be that light house on top of every hill for the world to see and draw closer so they can come out of the darkness and bring their sin into the light of forgiveness, never to be seen again, when our Master wipes all tears of remorse out of the way and away never to be seen again!

If we fall from the path of His righteousness it may be impossible to come back to the way of righteousness as we see of those Jesus talked about who have cleaned out their house and drive out the spirits that beset him; when they leave and the man is not careful and continues not to grow in grace and favour; that spirit will find that man and see that his house is all cleaned and garnished; and will go and find seven more spirits more evil than he and the last state of the man is worse than the first: eight times worse; This is what Peter talked about in 2 Pt.2:20For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire. We must be growing in scripture and the fruits of the Spirit as these: 2 Pt.3:11Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. 15And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. 17Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. 18But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen.

We are to study this word and show ourselves approved rightly divining the word of God, 2 Tm.2:15; When we study this scripture we need to remember it all comes together and is found coming to fruition as the Old Testament was but a shadow of the real thing in the New Testament by a Holy Spirit baptism being able to do all things in the name of our God Jesus Christ, knowing He has given us all authority over sin and this world by a Spirit of the most High God living in His Children who can do all things in His name, Just as our Father did and greater things than these can we do because we are of Him and He is in us and dwelling and ruling over our lives in word and deed, as He has instructed us to believe in Him and His words of truth and Eternal Life! It takes all scripture for our edification: 2 Tm.3:12Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 13But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. Yea be of good cheer; for if they have persecuted Me they will persecute you also: but be of good cheer for I have overcome the world; and so will those called by My name who walk in My word as it is their own; for they shall be where I Am Also, thus sayeth the Lord your God and Redeemer! ~
