When We Find Out How to Live with God;
We Become His People
This is when we learn to live with Him, our God: That is when we learn to put ourselves away and concentrate on pleasing Him, our heavenly Father, instead of thinking about what we need to do to make ourselves happy today, so that we might gain the world!
Now this is the Father’s way,(Luke9:23-26)23 Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. 24 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it. 25 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?. And we all know where this is going to take us next! So let us not even go there for right now but try and learn how to keep for ever entering into this realm.
Now this is the first lesson that we must bind into our hearts; as air is to our lungs to breath so that we are able to live, we must grasp these words of life and death; for truly these very words I speak to you are going to be the very air to your eternal soul for you to breath in, that truthfully, will keep you alive for eternity, God willing. If and only if you believe them and do all of the scriptures I’m about to instruct you in, not just the ones you want to, but all of them; with the love of God in your heart, to be His chosen vessels. For if we, do not have the right attitude we are lost without hope, until we learn to humble ourselves to Him and to be His very own servants to do with as He sees fit. This is what is known as the Royal Law, to Love our God with all our hearts, minds, strength, and souls, and the second one is just like it to love our brethren as ourselves, and to treat them as we would have them treat us. Not our will be done, but His will be done, this is where we learn to trust in Him and our faith begins to flourish.
Now you know I’m just chomping at the bit to just jump right up into advanced Holy Ghost filled preaching or what I really like to do is what is known as treaching; but for right now we have to go back for the people that are still seeking the Holy Spirit, for all of this is to no avail if we are lacking any of the first things (Rev.2:4, 5)4 Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. 5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent. So truly here is one of the first lessons anyone should learn, never go from your first love and that has got to be God our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! For a truth God is either Love or He has a Hate for our sin that can only be turned away by righteous repenting because the Lord cannot be in the presence of sin; He will accept nothing less.
The Unforgiveable Sin
We see in Mark 3:29 and in Luke 12:10 that there is no forgiveness for this one violation of God’s Laws. Matt.12:31 “Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. 32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come. God either runs Hot (the Love of Man) or Cold (vengeance will be Mine thus sayeth the Lord) He is not one, that is kind of, or maybe, it is yes or no, He either Loves you or He hates your sin, we see this with Esau whom He hated Mal1:2, 3 and in Romans9:13 As it is written, “Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.” : Because the Lord knows what kind of vessel you will be before you are even born whether you are going to be His or the Devils but He always has hope the man will come around to Him.
Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance? (Rom.2:4) Some vessels are made for honor and some for
dishonor, for did He not make the Pharaoh to have a hardened heart for this one reason to allow God to show His power to the world and to drive the Israelites out of Egypt? This is a lesson on separation from the world right here. To be in the world but not of it: For another time though.
Exo.9:16 But indeed For this purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth, also in 2Tim2:20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. 21 Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.
Esau was first born and gave up his inheritance to his younger brother just for a bowl of soup or pottage: But here is the thing that really upset God with Esau; it was that as we all know from reading our texts that Abraham was a very wealthy man and that Isaac being the first born son was entitled to a double portion of his father’s estate, for Abraham as of yet had not given up the Ghost. We know that Isaac was wealthy because his father Abraham sent for Isaac’s wife from his family in Haran and he brought them gold and other valuables for the bride price as was the custom. All of this leads me to believe that Esau despised his inheritance, that he didn’t even give it a second thought, to give it up when he could have gone to his father’s tent, or even had some of the herders of the flocks to bring in some sort of venison or game. He could have gone to anyone but he went to Jacob and we all know what his name means.
He was in an all fired hurry just like today’s people, they want what they want and they want it now! Just like their salvation, they think it is just a walk in the park, say a few words, go take a dunk in the mini indoor pool, jump up and down get all excited, because something great just happened and all the while not even knowing why they are doing these things at all. Just so some preacher can say we have some good numbers this quarter, so many were baptized and converted to Christianity, without repenting, being baptized in the name above all names Jesus Christ and the infilling of the Holy Ghost now this is becoming a Christian. This is just the beginning of the walk. Right now we need to discuss the price of discipleship to become a true Christian in heart, mind, and strength, down to your very soul.
The cost of discipleship,
What it means to serve the Lord
Now to be a true disciple of the Lord our God we must remember who it is that we are turning our lives over to, God Almighty. Jesus talks about knowing the costs, He used the parable about a man building a house or the tower. We need to be able to decide if we can afford the cost, are we really ready to go the distance. For Jesus forgave and then told the person go and sin no more. Are we really ready, to go all the way, and to fully repent, to turn around, change and go in another direction? This means following all of the scriptures, for even Jesus said He did not come to change the law in Matt.5:17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.
This sounds to me as if God changes not, and now after reading this last scripture, we see that righteousness is going to be required as well. So we see from the start of our walk, we are not being asked to do one thing more than was asked of our forefather’s who have gone on before us. God requires total devotion to Him alone, and this is where people start having the problems. I want everyone to know right up front, this is not Gary’s rules or Gary’s customs they are God’s teachings and this is Biblical scriptural doctrines. If it is not in the scriptures then please correct me. But I will back up my teachings with scripture, this is going to be a required course from the Lord, so we must learn it at all costs. These are heaven or hell issues here people, this is my way to follow Him joyfully with all my heart, mind, strength and soul and it should be yours as well, for it is His way.
Leaving All to Follow Christ
Luke14:25 Now great multitudes went with Him. And He turned and said to them, 26 “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. 27 And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple. 28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it— 29 lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, 30 saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish’? 31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? 32 Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks conditions of peace. 33 So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple. If you are not a disciple of Jesus Christ then do not call yourself a Christian, if you cannot learn to walk in His light then you are still in darkness. John8:12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” Jesus did not say He was going to make it easy, Matt.7: 14Because strait is the gate (small), and narrow (how difficult) is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.Matt22:14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.” The root word for disciple is discipline so let us train ourselves to follow Him.
If we are not about His business then we have lost our flavor with the Lord, we have a sweet aroma when we sacrifice ourselves to Him for His kingdom: For we are the Salt of the earth to bring the flavor to it. Luke14: 34 “Salt is good; but if the salt has lost its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? 35 It is neither fit for the land nor for the dunghill, but men throw it out. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” We need to be about His business winning souls making disciples unto the Lord Matt.28:19 Go therefore[c] and make disciples of all the nations.
We can go into an all day study right here on Holiness, Righteousness or morality and without it we will not see the kingdom. We need to be perfect, for Jesus says we are to be perfect for our Father which is in heaven is perfect Matt.5:48, so it must be obtainable, for when we have His Holy Spirit in us all things are possible Matt.19:26.
Now see this goes right back to 2 Tim.3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. Jesus says that if we believe in Him we will do these things and even more if we only believe in Him. We learn in John how we are to do all these things, John14: 12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. By His Holy Spirit we are to receive His power to lead an overcoming life. Rev2:26 And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations.
By the power of the Holy Spirit
John14: Indwelling of the Father and the Son
19 “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. 20 At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. 21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” 22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?” 23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.
Like I said this could end up being a month long Bible study, on righteousness, holiness, purity, modesty, and so on. For without us being perfect examples of God in us, how are we to win a lost nation, we must be able to show this world that it is not that hard to live for Jesus and it is not, if we have his Holy Spirit in us. This is the power to lead an overcoming life and without it we have no hope of reaching our goal of living and serving Him in His heavenly realm. This Bible is that important, for it is our passport to His world. If we do not somehow try and find a way to become like a wide eyed little child looking to our father or mother for instruction and for their love and their affections and come to Jesus in the same way, with all of our hearts, we are going to have one difficult time, until we do so. Matt18:2 Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, 3 and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. But when we do then it is the greatest break through and all the rest just gets more and more fun. I get up and can’t wait to see what Jesus is going to do in my life today: Who is He going to bring into my life today, that I might bring them to Him or into a closer walk with Him? To share the gospel of Jesus Christ, The Good News, that Jesus died for them and that they could have eternal life with Him and if they come to know Him as their personal savior then He will become their heavenly Father and pour out His blessings on them.
When we truly belong to Jesus, then we will be born again, no longer seeking the world’s ways but His ways. We will not be anything like we used to be, we will quit smoking, drinking, walking in the flesh and start walking in the Spirit. 2John1:5 And now I plead with you, lady (the church), not as though I wrote a new commandment to you, but that which we have had from the beginning: that we love one another. 6 This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it. This is our reasonable service, Rom12:1. We need to read this word of life our Bibles for in it is all truths on how we are to conduct ourselves, for the Lord changes not, it does not matter what this world says is acceptable we need to know what the word of God says and to do it. He changes not and we must continue to respect His wishes for he is our eternal Father and He will chastise His children. Especially when we are supposed to know better, Has He not given us His Words, Commandments, Laws, and Testaments? Every chapter in this Bible is for our understanding of just what He expects from us. We are without excuses! From the front cover to the back cover we are instructed to follow what has been given to us in His irrefutable Words. Gen. to Rev. In Rev.2: Jesus is beseeching us to come to Him, to not get off His path; how far are we from Him really, doesn’t He see and hear everything we do? 25 But hold fast what you have till I come. 26 And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations—27 ‘ He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’—as I also have received from My Father; 28 and I will give him the morning star. Jesus is this Morning Star Rev.22:16.29 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’ Either we have got to learn to come to Jesus out of our love for Him or become like the potter’s vessels broken in pieces. If we cannot get this right we have no hope of ever receiving our just rewards, now do we? This is why our brethren the apostle’s words have just as much weight as those of Jesus, the apostles were instructed, by Jesus through the Holy Ghost, and are just as important in the scriptures. Jesus was their own private instructor; in His Holy spirit; he gave those apostles what to write, for the words were God breathed to them. The Black letters carry the same weight as the Red letters because these are God’s irrefutable words and they would not be in His book; if they were not His Words. This is why Paul was handing down his instructions to Timothy so that the next generation would know how to keep God’s ways. This is why we are instructed to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.
This is what it looks like to be lead by the Spirit
Phil.2: 12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. 14 Do all things without complaining and disputing, 15 that you may become blameless and harmless, Children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, 16 holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain. For our pastor’s will be held accountable to Him, for what he teaches you. Gal.1:8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. This is not something I want to violate for it would be more than I could bear, to be accursed to Hell for teaching some heretical doctrines other than scriptures. This teaching is a serious job, not to be taken lightly!
This is when we put ourselves away from all filth of this modern world, smoking, drinking, or any appearance (1Thes.5: 21Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22Abstain from all appearance of evil: this means we are to prove all doctrines as well as not to be a stumbling block for another brother.) of being worldly, like women cutting their hair, dressing immodestly, wearing jewelry, wearing make-up, showing cleavage or dresses to short and don’t get me going on pants on a woman this as well as all the rest are all clear violations in dress code, it is a abomination (sin) to the Lord. Deu.22:5 “A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all who do so are an abomination (in sin) to the LORD your God. Now let us not forget this again God changes not; if it was an abomination back then to God it is today; He is still the same yesterday today and forever; is He not? Mal.3:6, who are we to please God or man?
Hebrews13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. See I don’t make this stuff up. This is my way and should be yours as well, for they are His ways; we do not have to understand all that He has instructed us, our job is to do it! (Ecc.12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.)
Matt.12: 48 But He answered and said to the one who told Him, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?” 49 And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! 50 For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.”
This is the cost of true discipleship to give up self to fulfill His will for our people not just for ourselves.
Leaving All to Follow Christ
25 Now great multitudes went with Him. All red or black letter doctrine it is a must do heaven or hell issue right here, let it be known up front, all scripture is profitable for doctrine! 2Tim3:16
We can reach out to our brethren, that have lost their way or to lead the lost that are trying to find their way in a filthy world; people are tired of all the lies and games of the worldly carnal man (and this new age emerging church where anything goes just as long as you come to their church and stay and pray and pay), to be in the flesh brings death, to be in the Spirit brings life eternal. Romans8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.(This is the new age church that says we don’t have the workings of the Spirit anymore, Rubbish!) 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. There is a very good example of living in the Spirit and living in the world in Gal.5: let us see how well we stack up to Biblical standards right here.
Walking in the Spirit
16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery (is going or lusting after anything other than God), fornication (can be many types of lustful thoughts as well as the other), uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. (This is why we must separate from this outside world of carnality of which we are living in).
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
All the commandments hang on this one word, LOVE, for if we loved Jesus we would do all these things and more just to please Him, to be with Him.
Now we have hopefully learned what it is going to cost us to become a follower of Jesus Christ
Once we have seen and heard the cost of discipleship and what is going to be expected from the start; then we should know or at least have a good idea at what is going to be expected of us.
The more that the Lord gives you in Spiritual blessings and revelation the more He will expect from His Disciple. For we see in Matt.25, the parable about the talents that Master gave to His stewards; let us not be like the one at the end who was given one talent and could do nothing with it or the unwise virgins that ran out of oil. For we see where they ended up with wailing and gnashing of teeth, are you doing the same with your time that the Lord has given you, for every minute He has given us, we will be asked to give an account of it and how we used it for His glory?!!
Let us learn how to become God’s chosen vessels
Let us now come to the Lord the proper way by, repenting, being baptized in the name above all names Jesus Christ and the baptism of the Holy Ghost (the infilling) and to go and sin no more, now this is becoming a Christian.
We find that people professing to be Christians are have a hard time staying in God’s ways, then when we start to check how they came to the Lord and we find out that not one of them truly repented (changing of your ways to go in another direction!!). Let alone were baptized in the only name that covers our sins by His blood being poured out on the Calvary’s cross. For the remission of sin, not just atonement or rolled ahead to next year but once and for all, forever gone, never to be remembered again, this is total remission of sin forever gone, total propitiation of your sins. Then you are entitled to become heirs to the throne of God and to receive His Holy Spirit who will come and dwell inside of you, if you will allow Him in but you have to invite Him you have to open the door and He will come in and dwell with you forever. When you speak in another tongue as the Spirit gives utterance you have just received the gift of the Holy Ghost, when and only when you speak in another tongue as the Spirit gives you utterance. Did I forget to tell you God changes not? This is the Pentecostal experience in Acts 2:1, 38, and 39. 38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”
All this is for nothing unless we know who God is and what His name is
Right now we know that we have seen many titles and names for God, the Father, God Almighty, Holy Spirit because God is a Spirit John4:24. But you cannot read 1John 5:20 and not know who Jesus is.20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is who Jesus is the eternal God and eternal life. This truth is given to us by Him because He is God who has humbled Himself and wrapped Himself in flesh and blood. His name is Jesus Christ the Lord’s anointed one.
1Tim3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
Godwho was manifested in the flesh,
Justified in the Spirit,
Seen by angels,
Preached among the Gentiles,
Believed on in the world,
Received up in glory.
We know from scripture that God has many names and we see in Gen.1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God (The Holy Spirit Himself God) (John4:24 God is a Spirit.) was hovering over the face of the waters.
3 Then God said, (spoke a word, He was the Word and His power was in His Word because the Word was God) (So the Bible and all the words in the Bible have to be followed for the Lord changes not!) “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 And God saw the light that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light (Jesus-Good-Life) Day and the darkness He called Night (Satan-Evil-Death), Jesus said I am the light of the world John8:12Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
So the evening and the morning were the first day. So from Genesis to the New Testament Jesus was there in the mind of God; for in John who was taught by Jesus we see how John learned who Jesus was in John 1:
The Eternal Word
(The Holy Spirit our God)
John1: 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He (Jesus because He delivered the Word of God) was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light (Jesus is the light of God’s glory) shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend(or overcome) it. We see in John1:14;
14 And the Word (God) became flesh and dwelt among us (Jesus), and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten (the Spirit became a living vessel of flesh and bone) (and was birthed by a virgin woman) of the Father (a title of God the Spirit), full of grace and truth.
15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’” 16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace (For only God can give the grace of salvation and the power of the Holy Spirit to dwell in you, that was to be administered at the beginning of the new age or dispensation: The age of His Church in Acts.) and truth (which is perfection or His perfect word and the power of His word, then becomes truth and doctrine because God cannot lie.) came through (in) Jesus Christ (by the Holy Spirit dwelling in Him, God being manifested in the flesh). 18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son (Jesus),(The NU Translation which reads only begotten God) who is in the bosom of the Father (which is the heart of God in metaphorically speaking, not a person!!),
He has declared Him (Jesus is the only person of the godhead because God is a Spirit John4:24, thus monotheism is our dogma or doctrine of Oneness).
Col.1:19 For it pleased the Father (Title of God) that in Him (Jesus) all the fullness should dwell, 20 and by Him (Jesus) to reconcile all things to Himself (Jesus), by Him (God same as Jesus), whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through (in) the blood of His (Jesus’ shedding God’s blood on the) cross. And just another from the same Book of the Bible Col.2:8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men (Tertullian and the Trinity doctrine ratified in 325AD. By the Roman Catholic Church) according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ (The Holy Bible God’s Word). 9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. (Jesus is the embodiment of God. He humbled Himself to be flesh, God humbled to the point of the most cursed death God could imagine for a man to die. For cursed is He that is hung on the tree because the Law of Moses demanded a sinless blood sacrifice for sin but God demanded a sinless man to shed His blood for all of Humanity, past present and future and the only one that can be sinless is God. From the highest heights of glory to a death of a cursed man of sin. Gal.3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”(Deuteronomy 21:23) 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise (Salvation and Baptism of the Holy Ghost and resurrection by the operation of God’s will) of the Spirit in faith.
In John14:6:Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through (in) Me. Why? Right here is the reason why. John14:7 “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” And last but not the least or the last one that shows just who Jesus is: While He speaks to Philip, 8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” 9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. God Himself dwelling in Him, Jesus doing the works because God was in Him. When you have seen Me you have seen the Father our God, Lord and Savior!!! All three are ONE!!! And from now on we should know who God is, His name is Jesus for does not Jesus say Himself I come in My Father’s name? And now once again John 8:23, And He said to them, “You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. 24 Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”!!!!
Jesus (Name) is God (Title) the Father (Title) the Holy Spirit (Title) all these are One in the same (1 Tm.3:16; Jn.20:28)!
1 John5:7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness on earth:the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one. There is only one God and Father of all Eph.4: 3Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (Oneness) 4There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5One Lord, one faith, one baptism,6 One God and Father (I and My Father are One John 10:30) of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.7But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Walk in Unity
Eph.4:1 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, 2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, 3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
For there is only one name that you can be baptized in that will bring remission of sins by the blood and the power that is in His name the name of Jesus. Acts4:12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” If we don’t get the blood of the sacrifice on us and use it correctly we are still lost in our sins, unless we are Baptized in His name, then we have remission of the sins by the power of His name and the blood being applied to us when we go to the grave in the water of baptism with Jesus’ blood being applied to us, His blood covers us all of our sins, never to be seen again and is washed away when we come up out of His watery grave. Then we can receive His Spiritual Baptism in the Holy Spirit and speak in a new heavenly language as the Spirit gives utterance as soon as we believe and accept Him into our hearts with all of our hearts, mind, strength and soul, when we give all of ourselves to Him, He will come and abide in us. He cannot tell a lie, He is the same yesterday today and tomorrow. Faith comes by hearing the word of the Lord, so whoever has an ear let Him hear the word of the Lord!
Acts2:39. For the promise is unto you and to your children and to all those that are afar off as many as the Lord our God will call. If this were not so important Paul in Acts19 would not have bothered to re-baptize John the Baptist’s disciples over again; for they were baptized correctly at the time but now they have found out the better more perfect way of the Lord, so must all who find out by what power and authority and by who’s perfect blood is being applied to them at baptism. It is Jesus’ name and blood that brings remission of sins by the power of His name. Acts4:11 This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’(Psalm118:22)12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
This is a must do to see the kingdom: For Jesus gave the proper instructions and the keys to heaven to Peter and the rest of the Apostles, so yes I can tell you in all sincerity that this is a must do for our salvation: Its God’s ways not man’s traditions that save us. Was it not Jesus, God in the flesh who paid the price with His Holy Sinless blood that brings redemption? I suggest you follow suit with me and thousands of others and be rebaptized in the only name that counts, which is in the Name of Jesus Christ for the Remission of our sins. For Jesus told the disciples to baptize in the name of the Father and Jesus already said He came in His Father’s name and when we have seen Him we have seen the Father also, and we learned God is a Spirit in John 4:24 and that this is indeed the same as the Holy Spirit and Jesus said He would have the Father send the Comforter (the Holy Spirit) which is called by His name, so when we fulfill Matt.28:19 we have done this very thing when we baptize in Jesus’ name. For the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit is Jesus’ name.
John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. All I can say is for me and my house we will be baptized in Jesus’ name. You do whatever you think is best, hope to see ya there, for Jesus says John14:15 If you love Me you will keep My commandments. Short and sweet, you tell Him why you could not be baptized in His name as His disciple Peter was commissioned by Jesus (thru Jesus’ Holy Spirit Himself) to tell His people the correct way to worship God in His way in order to receive Him and His salvation. Jesus’ own Spirit told Peter to say those very words. Matt.10:19, 20; Mark13:11; Luke12:11 “Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say. 12 For the Holy Spirit (Jesus our God Lord and Saviour all agree and are One) will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.” Peter was addressing all of the people of the city as well as the Pharisees and the Sadducees, so you know he was speaking in the Spirit, for they would have stoned him for heresies if he was out of line. Peter gained three thousand souls this very day: it is very apparent to me this was from the Lord our God; it is a must do doctrinal issue, a Heaven or Hell kind of decision. Otherwise Paul would have left John’s disciples alone; he would not have re-baptized them at Ephesus.
Acts 19 Paul at Ephesus
Acts19:1 And it happened, while Apollos was at Corinth, that Paul, having passed through the upper regions, came to Ephesus. And finding some disciples 2 he said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?”So they said to him, “We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.” 3 And he said to them, “Into what then were you baptized?” So they said, “Into John’s baptism.”
4 Then Paul said, “John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.”
5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied. 7 Now the men were about twelve in all.
8 And he went into the synagogue and spoke boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading concerning the things of the kingdom of God. These are the kind of questions we need to ask to everyone we meet. Their salvation is our business, thanks to Matt.28:19.
Jesus Promises Another Helper
John14:15 “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you (in the Spirit). Nowhere in the Bible does it say that He will give His Spirit and then take it away, it says right here forever! At least till the end of this age anyway. Then this earth is not the place to be!!!!
Acts 2 Coming of the Holy Spirit
1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accordtogether in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Now without even thinking about it I have jumped well past where I intended to be. So now I ask you to bear with me for a moment and let me back up a bit.
Where I need to be right now is at the front and foremost part of learning God’s infallible words. We have so many people living, reading, and miss quoting, doing just what they think is necessary in the scriptures to get by and to have God Love them and except them and their worship: They think; and I’m sorry if I’m boring some of you that have the full knowledge of the Truths of what needs to be done in His sight but we have so many now days that look upon how they are judging themselves in light of the world. They have become so complacent to look at themselves from the world’s standards instead of what we should be comparing ourselves to, the Lords irrefutable unchanging words. Mal.3:6 “For I am the LORD, I do not change; therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob. Because God had made a covenant with His people and even though by all rights of the covenants and the laws of man: God could have been voided out of this covenant and destroyed them and started over with a new people, to be His chosen children.
Which He can do to any sinner He wants at any given time; He does not have to wait for the rapture. If God wants to He can remove anyone at any given time and have them face His judgment at the appointed time. If it had not been for Moses interceding and asking for and wanting the Lord to remove him from the book of life, instead of the Israelites in Exodus 32:10 Now therefore, let Me alone, that My wrath may burn hot against them and I may consume them. And I will make of you a great nation.” Israel would have been gone today and I doubt if anyone in history would have ever written anything about them if God would have had His way in the deserts of Sinai. There is a very good lesson right here, let me have just a minute, if it were not for ministers (servants of the Lord) and righteous servants of God interceding for you and me as well in prayer and fasting; we would not have any chance of finding out truly who God is on our own; without the help of an anointed Holy Ghost filled minister, preacher, teacher or one of God’s Holy Spirit filled servants revealing His Truths to us we would still be so very lost: So we had better give honor and respect where honor and respect are due for God’s chosen servants, His children for following the will of the Lord: The Lord will not hold anyone blameless for refuting them, if they are teaching scripture. His scripture is from His Holy mouth to His Holy disciples writing down what He tells them. Then this is what we need to teach and preach for you to truly be saved and reborn again of His Holy Spirit. Now let’s get back to where we were at.
Mal.3: 7 Yet from the days of your fathers you have gone away from My ordinances and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you,” Says the LORD of hosts. “But you said ‘In what way shall we return?’ This is Israel asking God how they should return, and we better know how to return to Him and receive His Holy Spirit for this is the very same Spirit that is going to raise us or quicken us from the grave and the same Spirit that is going to allow us to meet Jesus in the air in the rapture; so you see we had better learn how to receive Him. So with this being said lets return to His UNCHANGING NATURE and His UNCHANGING WORDS. This is going to be one of the most important things that we must come to learn, or the Bible is of no use to us. From the front cover to the back cover we find His way that we are to walk in, this means in everything we say and do it is should be for the glory of Him, who is the giver of all things. We are to have an active prayer and fasting (to put the flesh into submission unto Father) life with Him and ask Him to reveal to us what He wants from us. Without prayer and fasting we will not see Him or know what it is that is His will for us. We have got to know His will for us for us to be in his will or we will have to stand in judgment, if we are not doing what He has planned for us we will run a fruitless race. If we preach any other gospel we will be accursed!! And what if we gain the whole world and lose our souls or more horrific than that what if we lead others to a wrong preaching other than doctrine of the Holy Ghost filled Apostles of Jesus Christ if not them who else are we to listen to; for they wrote the gospels as well as the epistles, you believe one you have to believe all of it for all scripture is God’s own Breathed Words given by Himself thru His Spirit!!!
Righteousness thru Jesus
Seek ye the kingdom and His righteousness (this means right here that we are to be righteous, before He will acknowledge us) (Matt.5:20 For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.) & (1Peter4:17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18 Now “If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?”) & (Jame5:16 Therefore confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.) and all things will be added unto you. Matt.6: 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
When we seek Him in all righteousness: When we seek the Lord with a truly repentive heart we begin to change our nature, when we submit to Him, as all authoritive, all knowing, and all giving of His Truths, we begin to be taught by the Master Builder Jesus Christ the chief corner stone. This is His first lesson He wants all to know when reading His unchanging words 2 Tim3:16:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable For doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete thoroughly equipped for every good work. We see here that we are to go to work! It doesn’t matter if Jesus or Paul said it; it is still doctrine that must be followed, for it is God breathed to Paul from the Holy Spirit!
His Saving Grace in Faith
This leads me to say this, truly we are saved by grace, this grace that is being talked about is the grace of God that has opened your eyes and ears that have allowed us to see and hear His irrefutable words; that have quickened our hearts so much that we just had to act upon His words and come to Him. For this is the grace by which you receive His words by the faith that He has put in your heart to receive Him: His own words that He gave to the Apostles to write down. And no one comes to Me unless the Father has brought them to Me this is His Grace given to us! John6:44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day (The Holy Ghost is this power of Grace that I’m speaking of; this is the age of Grace to have His power on earth with us today, not to get away with sin and hope grace is going to cover it, it is not grace that allows sin not to be seen it is forgiveness and repentance with the blood applied to it that covers sin! Jesus commanded after forgiveness to go and sin no more!! If you have sin in your life you had better go repent and ask for forgiveness and then go sin no more get sin out of your life!!!). 45 It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’(Isa.54:13) For did not Jesus teach us and that is all He did; besides miracles, He taught His words of life. Therefore everyone who has ears and has learned from the Father comes to Me. And this is the start to a big secret that blows holes the Trinitarians theory ship and it sinks like the Titanic. Jesus was teaching then because He was God in the Flesh, all of the words in the Bible are God’s infallible words, irrefutable, Holy Ghost inspired words for God is the Word. We see in John 4 while Jesus is teaching about Himself and Who He is; we see that God is in the Flesh, John4:24 God is Spirit, and that in 1Tim.3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God who was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit,
Seen by angels,
Preached among the Gentiles,
Believed on in the world,
Received up in glory.
NIV states:16 Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: God appeared in the flesh,
was vindicated by the Spirit, (Or vindicated in spirit) was seen by angels,
was preached among the nations,
was believed on in the world,
was taken up in glory.
Christ’s Birth Announced to Mary
Luke1:26 Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, 27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. 28 And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!”
29 But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. 30 Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31 And behold, you will be found with child (this means God will put Himself in her seed cause her seed to be of His manifestation) and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS
(which means Yahweh or Jehovah-savior which is God our Savior Isa.43:10 “You are My witnesses,” says the LORD,“And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me. 11 I, even I, am the LORD, And besides Me there is no savior. 12 I have declared and saved, I have proclaimed, And there was no foreign god among you; Therefore you are My witnesses,” Says the LORD, “that I am God. 13 Indeed before the day was, I am He; And there is no one who can deliver out of My hand; I work, and who will reverse it?” 14 Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel),
and in John8:24 Jesus says inverse 24 “Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” (Jn.8:58 Jesus the I Am! And the Jew’s tried to stone Him for saying He is God in the flesh! Verse 59!) Luke1” 32 He will be great, and will be called (title) the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David (Lord said to my Lord sit at My right hand: as in the seat of all authority!). 33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”
34 Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?”
35 And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit (God) will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you (as hovered over the water in Gen1:1-2.); therefore, also, that Holy One (Is49:26); (Immanuel God with us Isa.7:14; Mt.1:18 & 20 also Mt.1:23!) who is to be born will be called (This will be His earthly title) the Son of God (because the Son of God is both in heaven and on earth, unless He has descended (Jn.6:62) He cannot ascend John3:12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven (They are one in the same, Jn.8:23!). (This is possible because Jesus is omnipresent being in the flesh and in and of the Spirit.) 36 Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. 37 For with God nothing will be impossible.” 38 Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her. (This only happened because of Mary’s faith and she allowed herself to be used of the Lord, for God has given each of us the right to become His or to walk away from Him. God gives each and everyone of us a choice because He will not accept anyone who does not accept Him out of Love. If you are wanting to come to Him just to have eternal life; you have missed the mark of who God is, God is Love and He the Creator, who wants to have a relationship with His chosen people; our job is to prepare ourselves to be His people who are the servants of the Lord; and to worship Him and to have fellowship with Him in the correct manner of which He will accept.)
He gave man dominion over His creation, but we were to follow His Commandments, Teachings and Laws and to imitate the Creator; and the only way we can do this is to be endowed with His Holy Spirit in us! So we see how God manifested Himself in the flesh and came into this world to redeem His people. Jesus our Lord, God and Savior came into being on this earth for one purpose to be hung on that old rugged cross to be a sin offering for us: To have His blood poured out as a drink offering unto the Lord, for without blood being shed of a sacrifice, a spotless without blemish sacrifice, and in this case sinless sacrifice, there can be no remission of sins. Jesus came not to condemn this world or us, just yet, but He did come to fulfill all prophecy not to change the Law but to up hold it and cause it to be implanted in our hearts, minds and souls and to fulfill all prophesy. He came to give us our perfect example; so we could follow Him in word and deed!
Jesus said he came not to bring peace but dissention Luke12:49 “I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! (Does this sound like some kind of warm and fussy little God just full of love and forgiveness to you? He may be for the forgiven and rightly so but for the un-forgiven and un-Godly it sounds to me like He is ready to pass judgment right now to me!) 50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how distressed I am till it is accomplished! 51 Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division. 52 For from now on five in one house will be divided: three against two, and two against three. 53 Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.”
Unity of the church of the living God
There will be no division in the Church of the Lord, for we are to be united in unity of one accord. (All in agreement) It does not say brother against brother or sister against sister. We are to be of one mind centered on Christ Jesus, for all power and authority are in Him. When we get to heaven there will be one on the throne and His name will be Jesus, everyone else will be on their faces worshipping Him even the other 24 elders.(The 12 Apostles and the 12 elders, men of renown Israel.), Rev.1: To Him who loved us and washed(Nu text reads- Loves us and freed; the Mosaic text reads-Loves us and washed.) us from our sins in His own blood, 6 and has made us kings(a kingdom reads Nu & M texts) and priests to His God and Father (His Spirit), to Him (Jesus) be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord,(Nu & M text reads God) “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” All I know is Jesus is God because He said in Isa42:8 I am the LORD, that is My name. And My glory I will not give to another, and in Luke we see that Jesus says this Luke9:26 For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father’s, and of the holy angels. We know God cannot lie so if Jesus is coming in His Father’s glory then He has got to be God, beings God said in the Old Testament that He would not give His glory to another. This is what the Holy Spirit gave to Zachariah in 12:10 “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication (Jesus is saying to Zachariah that He will open their eyes and allow them to see what their fathers have done to Him); then they will look on Me whom they pierced; Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. God was prophesying about Himself here when He said that they will look upon Me whom they have pierced.
Otherwise it would have been Him that they have pierced. I’ll tell you why because this is Jesus speaking to Zachariah, for we see in the garden when Jesus the humanity of God was praying to the Father or to The Spirit, He said that He wanted to be glorified like the glory He had before the foundation of the world. John17:5 And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself (and in order to be glorified with Him Jesus has got to be one with the Father, Jesus would have to be God because God will not give His glory to another!) , with the glory which I had with You before the world was. We see right here Jesus is talking to the Spirit that is within Him and He is remembering the time before the foundations of the world when He was not flesh but Any manifestation He chose to be: The flesh was praying for strength to bear the cross. Jesus knew who He was before He was 12 years of age. He knew He didn’t have to worry about going home with His parents He would be well taken care of all by Himself, for the Lord was with Him and in Him Luke 2:49. We know that God is not the author of confusion; so how can God be the head of the church and Jesus be the head of the church Matt.16:18 and in 1Cor.10:32? They both cannot be the head of “The Church of the living God” so in order to make the scriptures harmonize we have to come to the enlightenment that they are one in the same!! Jesus is God in the flesh!! Then it makes perfect since and both scriptures are in harmony; it doesn’t matter what name or title we use it is still the same person they are one in the same still only One!!
Now we should have the no problem of knowing who Jesus is and who God is: We should understand that they are ONE IN THE SAME!!! Isaiah 44:8 Before Me there was no God formed. Nor shall there be after Me. God cannot tell a lie!!! He’s the same God he has always been just manifested into flesh and blood!
NOW LET US BE FEED WITH MEAT AND POTATOES OF MATURITY WHILE LIVING FOR GOD
Now let us try and learn how to conduct ourselves once we have been gloriously filled with His Holy Spirit. We can only know this when we read the entire Bible. For God changes not; the Old Testament carries just as much weight as the New Testament and what Paul, Peter, John, Matthew or Luke said carries just as much weight as the red letters that Jesus spoke, the only reason those letters are red is because it makes it easier for the reader to see what Jesus said and really; why wasn’t all the things Jesus said in the Old Testament in Red? It is because the Bible’s last translation was done by Trinitarians of the Roman Catholic Church and they had no idea of who Jesus was because the Holy Spirit was not with them in the translation of His word. For we have determined that Jesus is God in the Flesh, and that all the Old Testament pointed to Jesus at Calvary: For He was the promise that was being promised to our forefathers. He did the dying on the cross for the remission of our sins; we owe Jesus Christ our lives. In the old days they used to have a custom that if someone saved your live, you just became their slave because you have no business being alive. They knew they have no business being on the face of this earth and they pledged their loyalty to the one who just saved them: Unless the person who saved you was gracious and didn’t want the responsibility of taking care of you, then they would give your life back to you and refuse your loyalty. This is how a lot of wars never had to be fought because the people knew if they wanted to live they had to become another countries slave and pay tribute every year. Look what Gibeonites did to stay alive for they knew they were next to die and be at the hand of Israel; sometimes a country used trickery to stay alive. Josh.9: This is a good lesson for discernment and another sermon.
Now how much more are we supposed to act towards the very one who hung on a cross for you and me our Jesus? Should Jesus deserve any less respect than for us to be buried in the water of baptism in His name, the name that has the power of God attached to it (Jn.14:14); the name that is going to bring us up out of the ground after death or cause our ashes to be manifested into a perfect immortal being or some of us to automatically leave the ground and go through the roof of the car or the ceiling fan on the way through the roof to meet Him in the air or countless stores of a high rise building; for who knows what we will pass through to meet Him in the air in the twinkling of an eye 1Cor.15:52? How can we not become His eternal slave His righteous child, to follow all of our Father’s, our Lord God’s words? He gave Himself so we could live for eternity, what a gift. The power of the Baptism and the water; is in the Name that is used over it, the name of Jesus, this is why we have got to be baptized by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of our sins this is how the blood of Jesus is applied; then we are entitled to His Holy Spirit. Act4:12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts2:38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit; if we believe then we will have Him (Rv.3:20).
There is only one way to Him, His way, Heed the Call
These fundamentals are so important that I was compelled to tell them again: These little details are so important for in the Old Testament if the priest did not perform the service the correct way he ended up dead, this was their form of worship just as we are to do today. If we do not do what we are supposed to do in the proper manor then we end up Just like Nadab and Abihu in Lev.10:1-2, in the lake of fire. This is the reason why we have got to keep re-reading the Old as well as the New Testament and why we have got to worship the Lord in His way; not our way by the Traditions of a wrong doctrine, that assumes that there has got to be three divinities or persons that must be prayed to and to be baptized under titles; instead of the one and only name given that we must be baptized in (Ac.4:12). For all the fullness was in Him this Jesus Col2:9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. For in Him came the blood of sacrifice and without the blood you or I cannot be saved unless we take of what is His. The last supper explained this, for we are to do this in remembrance of Him for this is the New Covenant. Luke 22:19 as well as all the gospels give an account of this; so it’s really important if all four of the gospels include it. Almost like a test question that is going to be on a final exam. The school books used to put the answers in more than one place in the literature, if it was an important point or an axiom.
This is so important: for this reason my mother; as well as I were rebaptized in the name of Jesus she came out of the waters speaking in tongues and praising the Lord and I started speaking in tongues on the way home from church on Nov. 13 th at 9:45 pm. That Sunday night, and what can be wrong with being filled with the Holy Spirit? I know I didn’t have it until I got rebaptized: If we do not need to be re-baptized, why did the apostle Paul do it then? He would have left the 12 disciples of John the Baptist alone at Ephesus and not rebaptized them in Acts.19:1-7? If Paul did it back then He would do it today, because, you know what I’m going to say don’t you? God changes not! So we cannot!
Now that we have learned the cost of discipleship and have repented, have been baptized correctly and filled with His glorious presence, we should be able to live an overcoming life. A life without worldly sins in it: A glorious life as an overcomer if indeed you have the Lord’s Holy Spirit in you! Many people cannot live an overcoming life; me included, I could not get all of the worldly desires, pleasures, and crutches that had my flesh bound up: Until I got put under in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin; then I had the power to totally give myself to Him and have His blood applied to me, His child, along with the power of His Holy Spirit in me! This is when I received power to put down this flesh and live for Him. This gave me the power in becoming a humble servant unto the Lord, when we do this we become elevated into new Spiritual realms.
This increased ability then allows us to become more humble to allow more room for Him to work in (2 Cor.6:14). The more we pour out of ourselves and the emptier we get in the flesh the further we can go in the Spirit. Seek ye the kingdom and His righteousness and all things will be added unto you, as you empty the junk out of the way He redecorates with Holiness, Righteousness and Grace which is the Power; this submission to Him helps improve our faith, our walk, that brings closeness of being a friend of God. Then very soon afterwards we become his children ready to be glorified when the time is right. This is a journey which we all must go through; or perish to a destination of doom, where there is gnashing of teeth.
“God I pray, help us now to see your ways, for we have been in the world’s ways and man’s traditions for so long; because your ways are so much beyond our understanding Lord, help your children to run in your light while it is still day lord, I pray in your name Jesus. And all of the Saint’s of God say Amen”.
Keeping what is rightfully yours
We know the cost of discipleship, we know to repent, we know which way is the correct way to be baptized, we know that we need to be baptized in the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues. Now let’s learn how to keep our salvation.
I know I’ve heard this growing up once saved always saved, I’m sure the devil probably used that line on Judas too. Look how Satan lied to Jesus saying he would give Him the world if He would bow down to him, knowing full well that the entire world belongs to God. If once saved always saved the Lord would not have told the story about the virgins or the unwise servant that was given one talent and the servant to keep the watch of the door to make sure the house is ready for the master’s return. Jesus gave us the parable about the prodigal son that came home to his father’s house, when he came to himself, while he had a chance, because many will say Father have I not cast out demons, devils, done miracles in your name, and he will reply depart from me you who work iniquity, for I never knew you, just because we left one thing undone. Or He will return and we will not be about His business and we are caught unawares: For He will come as a thief in the middle of the night; when the master of the house knows not when. We need to be praying constantly for Jesus’ guidance to keep us in His way; if not, we will take no time leading ourselves down a path that seems right to us but not to God and we find ourselves not in His will for us. Prov.14:12 There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. & verse 14 same book and chapter 14 The backslider in heart will be filled with his own ways, But a good man will be satisfied from above. If we are not doing His will for us we might as well be back in the world, because the end result will be many, many, stripes or quite possibly a slippery slope to Hades. We need to look no further than Israel for examples of falling away, to an utter detestable fate to be given away captive, given over to Satan, which for this very reason he came into this world, this is why God allowed Satan to remain in this world and to exist at all for this very purpose. Satan is the Father of all lies. He is always saying “Did God really mean that, did God really want everyone to do that, surely he did not mean that, did He really say that you need to do all those things?” That is Satan’s job to seek them which he may devour.
We had better hope Jesus brings us back in line with Holy Ghost chastisement before its too late or we will face total damnation. Hot or Cold, right or wrong no in-betweens with God; we are walking in His ways or we are walking in our ways, of the flesh, which is it going to be: Being right or eternity in Hell that simple, no in-betweens?
Training ourselves to walk by His Light
If we have learned anything by now we should have learned the Father expects obedience for in 1Sam.15:14 Samuel says to Saul,”What is this bleating in my ears? For all the cattle had not been destroyed and the king of the Amalekites had not been given over to the Lord, utterly destroyed as the Lord’s had ordered or commandment. So is sacrifice or repentance as important as keeping your walk in the first place? Scripture teaches us the obedience is expected not sacrifices or repeated repentances. We know by now that the Lord changes not so look at the New Testament, if you love me you will keep my commandments 1John1:6 This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it. Front cover to back cover, the Bible stays the same. Day after day our walk should stay the same following our master’s way and His voice John10:4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. This is a good lesson John 10:1-30 and I really like the last verse, it just sums up why we need to follow Jesus: seeking to make disciples of and from all nations Matt.28:19, 2019 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. We see here in 19 it says name singular all three agree and are one 1John5:7, 8, this name is Jesus because Jesus said in John 10:30 “I and My Father are one.” Don’t feel too bad it took Thomas a long time to figure it out too. John20:28 And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”
When we start walking in Spirit, in the light of His way and in the Spirit not in the flesh; we will start to find a fullness of joy knowing we are striving to do everything in our power to please Him with all that we do and say; out of the purest love for Him, to please the Father, we do this by imitating the apostles of the Lord, the disciples who wrote Jesus’ very words to keep us in the Father’s will, these are one in the same, our Holy Bible. If it’s in the Bible we had better figure out how to do it. The only way I know is to fall in Love with the Lord and His word, for God is Love and we had better come to Him; in the fullness of His love for us. He looks to the heart of man, He sees our motives, and we can’t hide our motives from Him if we wanted too. He saw to David’s heart, He knew David was a man after His own heart. It took me a long time to figure out what kind of heart that was. Let me give you a hint: Our heart needs to be like one of these kinds of hearts; like if you were standing at the edge of the Grand Canyon and one of the Lord’s lambs was about to fall or let’s say be eaten, and the only way you could save it was to give your life and God was about to ask you right now to die for His lamb, before He could get the words out of His mouth, you would have already been in action to do what was needed for you would know the will of the Father and what is expected from the Lord. You would have slain whatever was going to kill His lamb or died trying to save it; the true test of a disciple is that you would you do this for your enemy as well, for were we not all in sin when Jesus died for us? If God asked you to; you would without hesitating. This is seeking God’s heart. Willing to give everything you got just for Him kind of love. If you lack anything but this kind of reflexes of doing before thinking because you know it’s the right thing to do: If you do not have this kind of love for Him then you are in for a hard time, until you learn how to humble your proud self! I tell all of you this out of the kindness of my heart because it took me so very long to learn this kind of love for Him, and I regret all the days I have wasted not knowing Him, like I should have! Please I got one last word of advice; if you think you might have any kind of a calling on your life from God, well then I suggest you do not do like I did and wait for the chastisement to begin before answering the call. The Lord can gently bring you into submission, or painfully start taking things away from you that are in-between you and Him, get ready to start losing things!!; that is all I’m going to say about the matter. Figure it out for yourself; you have had my warning, that’s all I’m going to say in public about this subject. If He wants you He will have you, look at poor old Jonah, and be glad you’re not going down Job’s path or if you wait too long He may have another idea like getting you ready to be used like Judas, this could happen if we have the wrong mind set or attitude in our heart.
If we do this correctly and stay in his will, we will hear these words that David heard: Matt.25:23 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
If we then get into the habit of imitating our earthy mother’s and father’s ways, why is it, that we cannot strive to come closer and more intimate with our Heavenly Father ways? The one we intend to spend eternity with. We do plan to spend eternity with Him; do we not? Why is it so hard trying to imitate Him then? It is because most of you don’t know who He is. His own, inspired words, His God breathed words, to His Holy Spirit filled scribes, the Apostles. The Apostles as well as the Son of Man, they tell us who God is.
For in all things in our life are from Him; what we need to do is concentrate on imitating the apostles and become a disciple of Jesus, doing God’s will. Paul will start off with the first example in 2Tim3:10 But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, 11 persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra—what persecutions I endured. And out of them all, the Lord delivered me. 12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
No suffering maybe you’re still in the world then or not a threat to Satan!!!
If you are getting along in this world this is a clue that just maybe you’re too closely tied to it and the devil knows you’re not a threat to him anyway, because you’re not taking any of his people away from him. When we start winning souls for Jesus we start getting some persecutions alone the way, Jesus warned us about this, this is how we know we are on the right path of following in His footsteps.13 But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived (Today’s enlightened or progressive non denominational or emerging churches!) If it is not apostolic scriptural doctrine leave it alone! If they tell you there is no more speaking in tongues, signs or wonders run from this place, I’m not even going to let this kind of doctrine have the same regards as being called a church. For in John14:15 “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—(The Spirit will be here until the rapture takes place for the Spirit is the only thing holding back the Son of Perdition, then the Spirit will be lifted up with God’s children, then will the scripture be fulfilled that no man may do a work and Amos8:11 “ Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord GOD,
“ That I will send a famine on the land,
Not a famine of bread,
Nor a thirst for water,
But of hearing the words of the LORD and in John9:4 I(NU text reads We) must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. (For the Lord will lift His Spirit at the Rapture) 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. 2Tim3:14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, (good Biblical doctrine based on scriptures, not on traditions of the Roman Catholic Church) knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation in faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
This will only be done when we truly know that we are not in violation of God’s fundamental teachings, and the teachings of His anointed Holy Ghost filled apostles who wrote His words to begin with. That all scripture carries the same weight, strength, and obedience to God’s will, everything that was written about what Jesus said was written by an Apostle after Jesus was raised from the grave anyway. He told the disciples to write those black letter words in the Holy Ghost so when you see that the red or the black letter it carries the same weight and the same amount of authority. I’m going to start off with Paul but it really doesn’t matter who we start using to follow whether it is Peter, Paul, John or any of the rest of the disciples as long as it’s not Judas Iscariot: Just as long as we start walking in the Light of what Jesus taught them and in the Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthian 11 verse1: Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ. His ways are above our ways we do not need to understand all of His ways we just need to do them, consider Haggai1:5 Now therefore, thus says the LORD of hosts: “Consider your ways! Also in Isaiah55:8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD.
9 “ For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.
We just need to concentrate our efforts on staying in His favor and in His ways! We don’t need to understand anything if we don’t want to, if we just do it to please Him because we love Him is good enough to be counted to you as righteousness.
Paul says in1 Cor11: 2 “Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things and keep the traditions just as I delivered them to you. 3 But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. (The Spirit is always over the flesh this is the reason why there can be no forgiveness for blasphemy of the Spirit!). 4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head. 5 But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaved. 6 For if a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn (as in a sheep being shorn) (the only time shorn is used in the Old Testament is in Songs of Solomon when Solomon is talking about how her teeth are as white as a shorn lamb, now that is short hair as in cut off to a stubble) (in the Greek form where this word originates it is the same shorn as cut low to the ground as in a mowed or shorn as to see flesh below). But if it is shame (key word here, I will explain at the end of the verses) for a women to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered. 7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man. 8 For man is not from woman, but woman from man. 9 Nor was man created for the woman, but woman for the man. 10 For this reason the woman ought to have a symbol of authority (Power) on her head, because of the angels (If we read in the concordance;)(or here we see that Paul is trying to convey the thought of how important it is for the women in which the savior of the world is going to come through, she has glory in the eyes of the Lord. For this reason she had forgiveness from eating the fore-bidden fruit she gave to Adam because of her role in child birthing, for the savior will come from a woman. For her hair is to be her crowning glory to her from the Lord, her hair is her authority or power from the Lord; which shows her submission to her husband and to her God, just as the angles are submisive to their God! We see that any time court is held in the heavens that the angles attend, women when they worship the Lord should not be without her crown. Long beautiful hair that is un-cut is the women’s crowning glory, and it is written that were two or more of you are gathered in my name I will be in amongst them and she is to have her crown of glory while being in His presence and this is the thing the angels look into while attending to God’s needs or wishes for they are always in His presence while He is conducting court. Her hair is her God given crown of glory to her she is not to cut it! She should never worship the Lord without it! Look to Dan.12:1-2 to see what a shame to God is!). 11 Nevertheless, neither is man independent of woman, nor woman independent of man, in the Lord. 12 For as woman came from man, even so man also comes through woman; but all things are from God. 13 Judge among yourselves. Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered? 14 Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a shame (sin) to him? 15 But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her; for her hair is given to her for a covering (crown). 16 But if anyone seems to be contentious, (this is a primary root word in which relays the thought of Implying to disperse–(cause to) blow, drive away) (we then see that if one chooses not to agree with the apostle’s on this then he is not really wanting to belong to God’s church due to the lack of submission to God’s will.)(And if we do not submit to God’s will or the apostle’s will then we do not have to agree with this and we find that those people will have no such custom or tradition or doctrines of the apostle’s!) (We break one we might as well break them all. That is being contentious to God’s will which is the unforgivable sin! Which is presumptuous sin as the sin of the man picking up sticks on the Sabbath! What happened to him? He was stoned to death outside the camp (cutoff); representing outerdarkness where there willbe gnashing of teeth!)16. We have no such custom, nor do the churches of God. (This is how today churches look that are out of God’s original plan; they lack the discipline of the disciples or the apostles’ doctrines and to them they have no such customs, nor do their churches of their God whoever that is but it’s not Jesus because Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever, so I guess we will just have to see how this will play out and see who God is going to honor in the end! My thinking it will be with the obedient ones, who abide in Him and His word!) Now Paul was not wanting to separate the church or have division but to have strength and unity and Paul was not about to keep any one out of the church but he did want everyone to come to know that God would prefer a woman that has a crown of glory on her head and would except her prayers and worship before a shaven head or a woman with cut hair; she might as well have a shorn head if I read this scripture correctly. This goes with men as well; don’t let your hair grown long (unless you take a vow of a Nazarite), see these little things have always mattered to God our Father, let us learn to please Him in all things! Now remember the shame issue in the previous verses? When we dig into scripture and do words searches we find out this little word shame carries a lot of weight. When we do a word search on shame it takes us all over the place in the scriptures, we see that we have nine different meanings for shame in the New Testament. Let us now look at how it is used in 1 Cor11:6 we see that this kind of shame is used three times in the N. T. shame, shameful thing, something that is (base, abomination), specifically venal –adjective
Willing to sell one’s influence, especially in return for a bribe; open to bribery; mercenary: a venal judge.
Able to be purchased, as by a bribe: venal acquittals.
Associated with or characterized by bribery: a venal administration; venal agreements.
All of these things Paul was leading to was that in their day the hair cutting was a custom of the prostitutes of the pagan churches to cut their hair in order to facilitate their sexual activities in the worship of their pagan gods, this word is the root word for many despicable things as in filthy which is used for abomination which is a sin, anything that is abomination to the Lord is a sin, the only other time this word is used in the N.T. is in Eph5:12 and Paul is instructing about the darkness that which we came from:8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the Spiritis in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), 10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 For it is shameful (sinful) even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. 13 But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. 14 Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, (Those of you which are dead because of your sins)
arise from the dead;
And Christ will give you light.” (Through His Salvation)
So we see that shame is associated with sin in the eyes of God. We see that shame is attached to sin in the O.T. as well and associated with the word fool (which is a sin to call anyone a fool) several times. This is why the verse at the end says that those that are contentious (Which is a sin also) are ungodly and have no such commandments.
Why, back years ago in our early pioneer days women never cut their hair, and the only ones that did were the women of the night. It all started back in the roaring 20’s along with women wearing a man’s britches which is another shame issue or sin issue an abomination to God: Due to working in the factories because of the wars women began to demonstrate their women’s rights as they called it, but they forgot about pleasing God, and morality took a back seat to Godliness. Mainly due to men coming home from war and having the lust of the flesh issues and they were glad to look at whatever a women would show them. The worldlier a girl was the more they showed, the tighter the pants, the higher the dresses, lower the cut of the blouse so on and so on; this goes back to the age of the flood when all that man did what was continually a abomination to the Lord.
Sadly it is still going today and being fueled by our main stream society, and people wonder why bad things happen today, and why God allows it, it is due to the sin in this world, this sin has astronomical repercussions. Look what happened to Israel with Achan’s sin, with the jewels the gold and all the rest of it. Sin just keeps going it affects all people, this world is evidence of this; don’t blame these things on God. He is not in the earth quake, He’s not in the wind 1Kings19:11 Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the LORD.” And behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake; 12 and after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice. If our God was in these things we would not be in any doubt about it, when God does something He allows everyone to know, for He has given us a record, and prophecies, He has already told us what to look for when He is behind natural disasters. But this just shows us how far man will go when God lets man have his way, for history just keeps repeating it’s self, and man just keeps sinking to lower and lower depths of morality. This brings me to man’s pride and lusts of material items that lead to idolatry; which is being covetous, and that can mean anything that gets between serving God and what you wnat to do in the flesh, even eating, gluttony, or anything else that wars against the Spirit, (1 Jn.2:15-17; Gal.5:17)!
This goes along with jewelry, houses, cars, trucks (4x4s), as well as big semi trucks as well. I know I used to have a $130,000 dollar show truck, I could have gotten by with a 45,000 dollar truck but you see it is a pride of life issue, trying to cause someone to envy what you have, and I felt good when it turned all those heads, this is a sin causing someone to stumble in envying what I had; when they wanted to covet what I had, I caused them to stumble, because it is a shame to cause a weaker vessel to stumble because of your liberties in your faith in grace. Because let me tell you I used to show it off, just to rub it in, these toys are our idols. This goes with motor cycles as in Harleys, horses, or anything else that is between you and your service to God’s work! These material things lead to idolatry look at what Israel did when they left Egypt; they were proud and arrogant that when the man of God wasn’t around to lead them, they went and had Aaron make a golden calf, that lead to three thousand dying. After the man of God leaves for awhile, even today a church will slack off, the head pastor leaves for awhile and sometimes things start to change ever so slightly. This happened to Israel until the Lord stripped their jewelry away from them after the party they were having, we see God got so mad at them Moses almost had to start the whole new nation of Israel all over again, on his own, by himself and God because of arrogance, jewelry and proud self-righteousness carnal tendencies that man has a way of making himself out to be more than what he should be. In God’s eyes we are still His creation and He is still our creator and we must never forget this fact, to do so is to perish.
This goes for makeup, didn’t God make us in His image? So that would mean we are perfect just the way we are. We do not need to try and look like something that we are not. What happened to Jezebel, she made herself all made up, got to thinking she was a special kind of woman, she ended up having the dogs eat her with nothing left but the hands and feet. Make-up was designed for people to make money off of pride of self, and they went so far as to glamorize it until the public started craving in. We all know what this materialistic world can come up with to make money and try to make you think you can’t live without what they have to sell you. I have even heard women say that they wouldn’t dare go out of the house without their face on, how can someone improve on God’s creation? The marketing people are even starting on our children by TV commercials, Radio. Every electrical device we have is designed to help keep us safe and to help man be smarter, wiser, and bring us further in society, I would hate to see the faces of the original inventers when they see what we have done with their inventions and the perverseness that we have allowed these devices to become. Something originally designed to save lives in national emergencies has become one of the largest stumbling stones we have ever seen, and it just keeps getting more perverse. Marketing and TV has taken our society to the depths of ruin; and they make it seem like their way is the way we have to be just to fit into society or what they want you to think society should be like, just to have you buy their products, sorry kind of got off on a rant, just the way I feel, just being a little transparent.
We all know too well what our great grandfathers and grandmothers had to say about wearing makeup. I’m not that old that I can remember back when I was a child and hearing my grandmother having this battle with her daughters and saying you look just like a Jezebel and who had the first reputation in the Old as well as the New Testament for being a Jezebel; it was the painted up ladies or prostitutes of the pagan temples, thus grandma had a point. Right back to God’s teachings I change not, why did we? Who is right God; or the world; or carnal man?
This goes right along with men and their toys, Harley Davidson’s, 4x4s, the list goes on and on Bass Boats, Yachts, dresses, clothes, are we not trying to have people see what we have, like keeping up with the Jones’s. This is a pride of life issue and it all starts with these small things.
The biggest contributor to our shame is TV, Radio, and all the rest of the media ring of death, for if you get caught up in all of their hype, which they are pushing off on a public that is unaware: We get trapped into thinking well if everyone is doing it, it must be ok, well it’s not ok to God. My mother and father always said if your friend jumps off a cliff are you going to follow them, and you know where they got this phrase from, it was from their parents? We see this with the morals of generation after generation they just keep getting more and more relaxed to the point we are killing our unborn children, many times for the sake of convenience, as in well, it would have ruined their future, or it was not the right time for me to have a child, my career was just taking off or we just can’t afford another child. Man just keeps getting right back to the age of the flood, when all that man ever did was a disgrace to God continually like back in Noah’s day. Are these not those days as Jesus talked about; and then the end will come?
TV, Radio and the rest of the electronic devices are not the problem; it is how man is using them. These devices left in the hands of righteous people can be used to educate the mass public to save lives or to help us be more like God if the right doctrines were put out there instead of some Tradition started by The Roman Catholic Church, this thing called Trinity and the TBN network of so called religious programming. Are not all of them professing Godliness wearing make-up, lip stick, eye-liner, and with women preaching no less with cut hair, I see no anointing in this kind of attitude toward God’s scriptures, or men in the bands with long hair, and men preaching the so called gospel of the world’s traditions, many of which could not even dress up as if they were going to be in the presence of God, but instead look like they are going for picnic at the park with the kids. This and all the rest of the programs on TV are some of the biggest stumbling blocks man has ever come up with. All I can say is this, “if it seems right to man, right there, that should have been the biggest clue something is wrong, if the world is all for it, it must be right, to man yes but to God?” We should have better discernment if we are truly operating in the Holy Ghost. What does your Holy Ghost say about it now in light of His scriptures’? Did not the world kill all the prophets of God and honor the prophets of (Baalim Jgs.2:10-15!) the world’s doctrines?
Dresses keep getting shorter showing more and more; women’s bathing suits leave nothing to the imagination. Every desire man’s worldly carnality can come up with is getting all the time at the movies and on the television. Music of this generation and the rap artists’ keep getting further from reality, but the scary thing is that they are today’s modern-day prophets’ for what they are saying in their songs and lyrics are coming true; and the our society more and more disgusting along the way! God help our children and their parents that are letting them be buffeted with this carnality of man’s main stream worldly doctrine of death. Where are our morals, ethics, and attitudes gone? Lower and lower, until we and I’m sorry to say the main stream churches have plummeted to a state of worldly fashions, make-up, and cleavage showing, on and on. God changes not why should our churches; we are to keep the standards of Godly people so that we can be a guiding light to those lost in a world of darkness looking for the light, which only God can give! If we have lost the light of our way in our churches then why go at all? God’s church did not change why has the world’s churches? Church was meant to be hands on experience, to be in His presence, I would rather die trying to go to church or die in church with my hands lifted high worshipping the Lord with my fellow brethren, than to sit at home and watch someone else who think they were in His presence. For does not the word say with all our strength we are to love Him, how are we worshipping Him sitting on our lazy rear ends at home? This is not doing God’s will for us! If you’re sick and contagious call for the elders and they will come and pray over you. The Lord will heal you so you can get back in church; this is the Lord’s way.
As for me and my house we will serve the Lord, Joshua never spoke truer words than these, if we want to see heaven we will serve the Lord. Matt.10:28And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
You know my pastor has it right; I would rather make heaven by a mile than to be off by a quarter of an inch and find myself in Hell! God’s words are our border line that we must not cross. Why would anyone want to walk along a fence line next to a landmine field just to see how close they could get to the fence; where just maybe the fence was put over a foot too far, the wrong way? Just an analogy but these are heaven and hell issues we are facing in everyday decisions we are making; should we not error to the side further away from the fence? I would choose to make heaven by mile than to lose my soul for an inch. All of God’s plans for man are in His book of life, all 66 of them; I plan to have my name in His other Book His Eternal Book of Life.
I do not want anyone to think I have all the answers, I don’t, but I plan on finding them in His Bible that I read everyday starting from the front cover to the back cover and even the begottens, for every begotten in the Bible represents one of God’s chosen vessels. And when I see them in heaven I would like to have a clue to their name and what it means, you can learn a lot from scripture when we study it and learn what the people’s names mean in the word; sometimes it brings a new light to the scripture all together and changes it entirely.
All I know is God seeks His people to worship Him in Truth and in His Spirit John 4:24; God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” If we do not speak in tongues and worship Him in tongues then we are missing out on the best part of worshipping Him: Romans8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
Which leads me to a scary subject, maybe we are not His to begin with, for God has made many kinds of vessels, some for honor and others to serve Him and others are to be used for examples of what not to do: for we are all predestined for His services. Man has freewill though and man can seek those things in which he is lacking in life because God through His grace has given man this right to come to Him. So hopefully a man will get called as in Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. But many are called but few are chosen, those who do the Father’s will are the chosen one (Mt.7:13-14 ffs; 20:16 & 22:14!).
“God let us pray we find Him the way He wants us to find Him, in spirit and in the truth and that we are in full speed and working vigorously doing His will and doing what He told us to do, make disciples of all men and nations, let us be doing His business as He did when He was just 12 years old. I must be about My Father’s Business. Let us seek Him now with all of our Hearts Minds and Souls. Let this be our prayer in Jesus’ name Amen!!”
Now let us speak about prayer
This is a little bit of a pet peeve of mine and I was just as guilty as the next wanta be so called Christian. But I was lead in ignorance just as Paul was by traditions of man, and I was just as zealous as Paul was when I came to the Lord. I was lead to believe if I spoke some sinner’s prayer I was going to be saved, but it’s not that easy. See it’s all in the details and I can prove it, for Jesus said do not do as the others do and give repeated repetitive vain prayers as the others do. Matt.6:
5 “And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. 7 And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. (No preacher can ask God to come into your heart, mind, and soul for you.)
8 “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.
This is where the temple in the desert of the Old Testament comes in; there was a lesson to be learned there. When the priest would pray over the sacrifice and say out loud, with an auditable voice and profess all the sins of Israel and then again for the individual’s sacrifice we see something happening here, it was for each individual, they had to bring their sacrifice or they were not forgiven for that year. When Jesus died on the cross for us we had a remission of sins for everyone forever. Here we come to one of those little stinker details again. We have to ask Him: Our Jesus into our hearts, we cannot have someone else lead us through it, He knows what we need before we ask, but we still need to ask Him ourselves individually!!
Here’s why, when the priest would kill the sacrifice he would put that blood on himself on his right ear, his right thumb, and on his right big toe. Some more of the little details but this is another lesson though for another time. He had to do that before he could enter into the Holy of Holies, and offer blood on the mercy seat for himself first, then he then could come for everyone else, because he was the only one who was holy unto the Lord. When the priest would do this he would wait at the main gate to the temple and wait for each person to bring their sacrifice to him at the front main gate (or curtain). There was only one gate, just as there is only one way to the Father through Jesus. The person had to confess their sins while they had both hands on the sacrifices head and one of Aaron’s sons would cut the throat of the animal. Then Aaron would have to take the blood that they poured into the bowl and place it on the altar of sacrifice but before he could get to the alter he had to push back the curtain to go into the temple. This simple little act of pushing the curtain back shows us one important thing. When Jesus died on the cross He tore the veil that separated the Holy from the Holy of Holies, now we no longer need a priest or a pastor or anyone else to bring us to Him. Jesus made access for all, but we still need to do as the priest did and push the curtain back ourselves, it doesn’t take much effort to push it back and to enter into His throne room, and ask for forgiveness but it is an individual’s own journey. We have no sinner’s prayer in the Holy Scriptures; this is another of man’s traditions. We have to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. Phi.2:12
For to fall into the hands of the Lord is a terrible (awesome) thing Heb.10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. For this reason each of us has got to come to the Lord and push back the veil to go into Him, we cannot be lead this has got to be a freewill offering. It has got to get personal to be of any consequence. Bless those poor misguided minister’s hearts for trying to help they were just trying to do good but it is for all of us to walk to Him on our own. This is another of those little stumbling blocks that get us tripped right into Hell. This is why I as well as others have had to come back time and time again to try and get forgiveness for the same things time and time again, it is because we never came to Him on our own; and have given ourselves to Him by ourselves and fully with all of our mind, heart and soul, with our own words that will be held against us at judgment day!!
By His words and ours we will be judged because we pledged ourselves to Him and made a covenant when we came to Him did we not? This is why we must judge ourselves to His words out of His Bible, not by the words of this world that knows nothing of God and His ways (1 Jn.5:19). For the world cannot see or know the Spirit of God. For the world cannot keep the Lords commandments John14:15 “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father and He will give you another Comforter (Paraklete, Helper, or Parakletos!), that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. When He does you will not be able to contain Him and He will bubble forth as Springs of Living water from our bellies, (Jn.7:38)!!! I knew instantly when He came into my life, the exact time and day and hour to this day I will never forget it!
This is why our churches are in such a horrible shape they have let man take over the service instead of letting the Holy Spirit move and have His way in them and allowing the Spirit to operate in the natural realm for Him, supposedly in the supernatural for these new age or emerging or progressive churches or these TV so called churches, that are not in the Spiritual realm. I could almost believe a church on TV if they had speaking in tongues and had interpretations and maybe if there was prophesying in tongues with interpretations, or signs and wonders that are not in the supernatural for those of us that are working in faith in the Holy Spirit of the Lord.
Look people can have all the emotions they want to have, it doesn’t make them holy or serving the Lord when they are not following scriptures. I’m sure there is going to be a lot of emotions when the Lord closes His straight way and narrow gate. Matt.7:13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because How . . . ! narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
Rev.2 speaks of over comers these are the ones who have worked diligently seeking God’s words and have put them into everyday practice. For Lip Service is not going to cut it, and that is all I see on TV church. Where are the people following His scriptures and the Holy Ghost filled people running the service and allowing the Lord to move in His natural way??
Final thoughts and I’m closing: If it aint in His Book leave it alone. If it is in His Book, get to doing it all of it: There is a scripture that comes to mind something about leaving nothing undone as in the first things. As well as when Jesus was talking to the Pharisees and how they followed the letter of the Law and violated the very heart of the Law, we can go through the motions and still be in a dead dry service. This is because God is not running the program, we have not ushered Him in with the correct attitude with entering His gates with praise and thanks giving with the power of His Holy Spirit in worshipping in Spirit and truth.
Psalm 100: A Psalm of Thanksgiving.
1 Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands!
2 Serve the LORD with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing.
3 Know that the LORD, He is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
5 For the LORD is good;
His mercy is everlasting,
And His truth endures to all generations. This is a start; now let us see how we finish this race. Come to Him and rededicate your lives to Him before it’s too late. Now is the acceptable time for salvation. Yes, right now, come rededicate yourself right now with all your heart, mind, spirit, and soul!!
With the power of the Holy Spirit we will come to place of liberty, we have the power to lead an overcoming life to put all worldliness behind us. We must put all things behind us and keep our eyes on Jesus; Luke9:
59And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
60Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.
61And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.
62And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. We cannot look to what has been; we must keep focused on right now and our eternal future. Everything in this life will pass away. What good is it if we gain the world and lose our souls?
Romans 8 1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit,*(if)* so be that the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 18For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19For the earnest expectation of the creature (you and I) waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption (flesh changed over to the leading of the Spirit) into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. 24For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. 26Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 28And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. (If we love Him we will keep His commandments and walk after the Spirit that dwells in us!!) 34Who is he that condemneth? (Answer) It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, (This is a metaphorically made statement for the recognition for power given to Jesus by His own authority by the Holy Ghost in Him!) who also maketh intercession for us. (And yes He will judge harshly because we have been given His knowledge of events to come, forewarned, we have no excuse for not making ourselves ready for His coming. For when much is given much is expected in return; this is what Matthew 25 is all about making ourselves ready for Him we are without excuse!) 35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the daylong; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. (Because we have His spirit in us that gives us the power to overcome this world and all the desires of the Flesh if we truly have His spirit in us we should be able to but all flesh under our feet and behind us!!)38For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 norheight, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
God is Love, He is the epitome of what love truly is and it is God’s love in Jesus that makes Jesus who He is, but that love is going to be put away and the other hand will and now is ready to administer judgment in which no man be able to stand. And man is so close to the judgment that he is totally unaware of his danger! The time is now for the seed to be planted and sown because Jesus is coming for the Harvest and expecting a larger yield than what is apparently available!! He’s not going to be happy if we are not wining souls when He comes back!! It is up to you and I to be about His business of making disciples of all people, and that is what I’m trying to do right now. Can we not make ourselves worthy and educated in His word to lead others to Him and spread this gospel and baptism of the Spirit (Jn.3:3-8)? So that we will be fit to enter into His kingdom doing all that we, being human can possibly can be doing to be like Him in word and deed, having our cross in hand, following after the Master!! Remember Luke12:49I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?
Let us now move to a new understanding in the Holy Ghost to where the Lord intended us to be from the start; God’s own anointed Holy Ghost filled saints, as mature, hard working industrious people, looking to please the Lord with all that we do and say but mostly with what we do for the Lord. For faith without works is dead James2: 17Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. So we must; we have got to do all that we can for the Lord while we have Him as our guiding light. Let us never be separated from the love of God. May we always be striving for perfection in light of His Grace (Spirit) in us and His will for us, to go out and make disciples of all nations. This gospel message is too great to keep just to ourselves, the Lord intended for us to take this gospel message to all nations and to all people for that was His commandment to follow Him so that we would be worthy of Him: We had better be doing it when He returns, don’t you think!? We had better get right and get ready for he is coming very soon!!
